He just says, if they were to start, that it would take so long that it would be on the next console. 3 years at least of dev time... which they have not even started apparently. So, it is safe to say we won't have a home console Metroid Prime on Wii U, or the next console at launch... even if that comes out in one or 2 years!

 

 

Of course... all still a grain of salt.

At least we know 2D Metroid is in development as well.. this is gonna be 1994-2002 all over again.

Let's hope. I'm honestly  not expecting anything for 3DS (which hopefully leads into a surprise)

I'm even more hyped for this game now. This game will have endless replayability, as there are millions of creative (and sadly not so creative fans) around the globe.

Also, Mario Maker Kaizo confirmed.

Interesting that Bill says E3 will focus on 2015 releases as well as early 2016. We might see Zelda after all

It's not entirely out of the question indeed, but I'm not betting on it.

I iked this Direct because it means their precious E3 time won't be wasted on games like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Mario & Sonic.

I can tell there's not enough resources... the game looks horrible, graphically.

FAWFULL FOR KART 2016

I've been defending the Wii U and Nintendo since its release, and I still like the console itself.. but the way Nintendo is threating things right now is ridiculous. They were gonig in the right direction, but they totally blew 2015.

8-Bit Mario is obviously for Mario Maker. Animal Crossing amiibo obviously means AC U (not Happy Home because it's a small scaled game)

Understandable. No big deal.

Metroid Warriors confirmed

I'm not expecting Metroid because they said they are discussing plans on new Metroids, not actually developping new Metroids. But God I hope I'm wrong.

I also don't expect a Wii U Luigi's Mansion this year, but it will happen eventually.

I'm not that excited for E3 this year to be honest... they will only talk about 2015 games, and we already lots of "big" games coming this year, so how much else interesting new games could they possibly reveal? After they said Zelda won't be shown this E3, I officially lost hope for it to be as good as last year (which doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to it anyhow)

However  I mustn't forget the fact that SM3DW was revealed at E3 and released the same year and it was an excellent game. So maybe they'll do something similar with a game like Metroid, who knows... Just not getting my hopes up.

How much will this cost and will this be released outside of Japan?

Looks good, but mostly because I didn't buy AW so I'm fine with another futuristic game. Still wondering how this would even tie in to previous BO titles. There has to be some connection. 

No Wii U release planned so far, but we know how it goes. 

Treyarch games tend to be the most unique COD games. I loved the stories in BO1 and 2, but that was because of the connection between the two. It's hard to imagine a connection with the third one because it's even 40 years further into the future. Also, the futuristic setting has already been done in the previous COD game which is kind of a let down. But still, this is Treyarch, and even if MP and Campaign will suck, there's zombies.

Do we know if the game's headed for Xbox 360 and PS3? Cause I'm really getting tired of those 2 consoles and devs should focus more on getting the best out of better hardware.
