I bought Pikmin + 2 because I wanted to give it a shot, and I liked it
I liked the idea of gathering around stuff with a lot of Pikmin in the screen, and it was pretty challenging at first. The one day challenge is pretty cool as well. But my complaints that the game is pretty short. I haven't completed Pikmin 2 so I can give my opinions, but the 2 additional Pikmin are pretty cool. Though purple pikmin make carrying stuff very easy.

What is your favourite thing about the Wii U?
I'm not going to be very original, but it's gotta be the Wii U gamepad itself. I mean I think it's great the fact that you can play the Wii U without the TV screen and you can use it as a limited but somewhat functional TV remote even without turning on the TV! (No I don't think I'm living in the 1990s).
Then, my second fav thing would be the Miiverse. I think it's great that you can ask for help or answer questions and look at cool drawings and give them Yeahs and etc...
What about yours?

I also like how come in VC, you can use wiimote for snes games and that you can map the buttons (you can't do that with control sticks and dpad though
)

*troll*
But I still don't know what you mean, I don't see the resemblance, and I wouldn't call the Xbone Wii U's big brother.

Ya know what, I must admit I prefer this site without the chatbox, because I actually use the forums and didn't come here just for the chatbox. I dunno but I just prefer it this way.

Wii U Games and Software Help
Eeeer how is that a bad thing???
Firstly, manuals barely help me, I like to figure out how to play a game unless if it's Chess, and secondly a manual already exists electronically.
I usually lose my manuals in anyway.

The Wii U is now £149 for the white when and even the black wii u's price have dropped: £199.
If you're living in the UK, I'd advise you to pick one up anytime soon if you haven't already.
EDIT: This is online btw and here's the link:

I wouldn't really change the main menu, but I would make it that you can send text messages to other people whilst in game and I do think that it should appear in the screen.
I mean the main menu is only used for choosing and selecting apps, so I don't think it needs a mega re-design, but alternations to the OS do need to be made.

No its not. Considering it has no next gen competition it should have sold a lot more then that. Its not impressive in the least.
it sold more than the PS3 did in that time. Just give it some hope.

I agree, if it interfered with the production of new titles then I would prefer they just concentrated solely on new titles. However I don't think it would take up too much time to release HD ports of Wii and Gamecube games as I am not talking about full HD remakes like Windwaker, more like Hitman HD collection, Prince of Persia HD Trilogy, and Rachet and Clank HD collection.
Yea, we seriously need Gamecube VC games like now lol

I'm not saying anyone would like it, but it is what Nintendo has done in the past.
During the Wii's life we had a handful of titles from the Gamecube which were made to be played with motion controls, the new play control! series, with games such as Mario Power Tennis. But your right many people wouldn't want to pay for games they already own, but hey I don't own Xenoblades yet so I really wouldn't mind that being rereleased on the Wii U Eshop for instance. But if they were released as Eshop titles and didn't hamper the development of new games, who'd be complaining?
But that's it, I don't want Nintendo be busy remaking Super Mario Galaxy + 2 if we could get a newer game, say a New 3D mario game, or Zelda or anything BUT REMAKES. That's just my view.

I have to agree.
I also have this feeling that Nintendo would probably see more profit in just rereleasing a handful of wii games which would work well on the gamepad with an HD update (Not a wind waker scale HD update but a Monster Hunter 3 style one).
Through the eshop. Titles such as Super Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda Twillight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 etc.
Sorry, but I don't like that idea. Many people would refuse to pay a Wii game they already own. Well that's what I think. I dunno.

While it would be neat, it more than likely won't happen as most Wii games have programmed motion control in them...which would need extra programming to work with buttons.
Of course, I could be wrong, but I just don't see it happening.
What I mean is, you only use the screen, you don't use it as a controller and the Wii U won't read it as a Wiimote. It's as if it's a mini TV screen.

I really think that they should let you ATLEAST allow you to use the Gamepad screen as a screen whilst playing Wii Games, that would make games like Wii Fit/Plus much better.
Who's with me?

Guys remember, what I said: I didn't say that I want to use my gamepad as a controller to play Wii games. Just simply use it as a TV screen to play Wii games. So it'd still be in Wiimode and stuff. I'm pretty sure they can do that, can't they?

I guess I didn't mention that i think that idea is a bit silly. The screen is tiny and i would imagine it would be difficult to use wii remotes on it since it has such a small sensor. Maybe they could do it, but I dont want them to and i dont think they ever will.
No, you use the sensor plugged in the Wii U, you just use the Wii U gamepad to play with it, and believe it or not my brother and I,once, played NSMBU only with the gamepad ![]()
