Shareholders shouldnt get any insider info, if that was the case someone at Sony or Microsoft could just become a shareholder and get all the info.

I could understand knowing because of family in the company, but you dont get insider info for being a shareholder.

If he truly knows insider info he shouldnt be telling everyone like he does on his videos and that Facebook group. That stuff is meant to be classified.

you're right that holding a few shares wouldnt get you info, but holding a significantly large share certainly would. thats what the investor meetings are about, how can anyone invest in the company if they dont know its future plans, thats why they have to reveal info to large shareholders, sony/microsoft would not buy large shares into nintendo because that would be supporting the competition which is just stupid. and he doesnt leak anything that hasnt already been hinted at before by iwata, and its true because sadly there is a lot of news out there that people just dont pay attention to at all, sometimes i, and others on this forum make threads about this info yet few people actually pay attention to it, then darkcloud talks about it and people think its a leak when its actually out there.

Miis are guaranteed to be there. To expect them not to have Miis is just being foolish.

My original DS phat's (got summer 05 for my 12th b-day) shoulder buttons never broke down, then when I got a Lite for X-mas '07 it was amazing until the hinge started cracking and the L button wouldnt respond. I put some super glue on it and it was fine altough the shoulder button was still having issues. Then a few months before the DSi came out a friend kept messing with the screen rocking it back and forth until the glue broke off. (I was so pissed, but I didnt show it lol). I tried fixing it but the super glue broke it even more. I ended up getting a DSi for my 16th B-day in 09 and again, the shoulder buttons were great but the R started failing and the L occasionaly.

The 3DS hasnt given me any issues yet besides there being some dot of dust or something inside the screen.

As for the Wii, my original one that I got for my 14th B-day in 07 worked great until late 08 when the disk drive started making a buzzing sound. I was going to send it in for repairs but then it suffered a kick/ throw from an angry mom (long story short: she was mad and took it out on my Wii because I was playing it on New Years day for Animal Crossing). I was without a Wii for 6 months, oh the horrible memories... She did give me money to buy a new one which is what I did in Summer of 09 (Had to buy a new City Folk game as well...). That Wii has been working great. I called Nintendo and they transfered my Wii Shop account, I just had to give them the serial codes under both Wii consoles.

I am VERY dissapointed that it's not on the 3DS, but hey! New Pokemon games.. !

On the Wii in some online games (Call of Duty Black Ops) you can use the Headbanger headset and speak with everyone playing and add them to your list so I'd imagine at least the 3rd party games will allow this. Not sure about Nintendo's games though. I think their own games will still have the restriction.

That seems like a logical idea. Maybe Nintendo Direct can be watched 'directly' through the Wii U. And also on the Internet for those who don't have a Wii U.

They did put up the first Nintendo Direct on the Nintendo Channel, So i'd imagine ithe Wii U will have it as well through its eShop or whatever.

I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes it's own individual channel.

They have it on the 3DS eShop along with all the other videos!

It depends on how the Mii's work in games.
The vast majority of them just use them as an icon on a save file.

If the Mii's were loaded fully by the game, there's a problem.
If they just pointed at a file called "Nin10dude.mii" and let the system do the displaying work it wouldn't be a problem.
But looking at how the system menu was made, it's likely the first.

What I underlined is exactly how the Mii work on Wii games. :/ That is also how the HOME Menu work on Wii games. That's the reason why in some games the HOME menu looks slightly different, in 4:3 stretched, or different sounds.

I pray that Nintendo didnt make that same stupid mistake on the 3DS.

I doubt you'll be able to ass Wii FC's to the WiiU friend list.

I'd imagine all those things you listed will be brought over to the Wii U, but it depends on whether it uses the same style menu as the wii, which was pretty good imo, so I don't see why they'd change it drastically enough to interfere with Wii channels.

My guess is that only Wii Mii's will be selectable in Wii games, but from a purely technical standpoint, there's zero reason for it.
I'm actually still confused by the 3DS Mii's not working on the Wii, they could easily update the Mii Plaza on Wii with the new features.

and the reason the Wii Miis havent been updated is because the games would need to be updated as well to to read the new features. Hopefully the 3DS Miis werent designed like that.

I know the Wii U will play every Wii game, but what about the Wii features like the Wii Message Board? Will it be locked just to Wii U users or do you think we will be able to add Wii numbers in adition to the Wii U friend list?

I just thought of this and it's been bothering me, I hope they can find a way to make all the Wii features in Wii games work (WiiConnect24, installing game channels (MKWii/ Wii Fit Plus/ etc), DLC, Photo Channel, games that use the Forecast channel, etc.

Something else that's been bothering me is the Miis. I mean, they will definitely have new features like on the 3DS, but what will happen if we try to use a Mii with the new features on a Wii game? Will it just not show up?

So many questions!! Lol

Edit: They removed Pictochat from the 3DS and some DS/ DSiWare games used that like Yoshi Touch and Go, etc so its a posibility that they will just forget about all those Wii features and just make the games play... :/

Another question: Do you think the Virtual Console games will be updated to run in Wii U mode and with the save state features like the 3DS?

Youre looking into that too much. It was just to show how you could switch the screens. They wouldnt have showed the new controller right off the bat.

I think they should and will bundle a WiiMote Plus and Nunchuk with it. They arent replacing those with the new controller. They will be used alongside the new controller. (Unlike Gamecube controller which only a couplle of games used it). I believe they will still make games for Wii remote and nunchuk and thats fine.

I'll post about it on Miiverse, and "Yeah" everyone else's posts but I'm not getting my hopes up :/

If they do this and keep their games exclusive to their new system then they will not see a penny from me.

I know a lot of people here that hate the Vita. Except for the price, people need to stop hating it.
If I won it, I'd definitely keep it. But I'm getting one on the 22nd anyway; so I could just give it to my cousin.

I dont hate the Vita. I just would never get one. I am happy with my 3DS, I dont need it. Now if I won it, of course I'd keep it or maybe sell it to buy moar games.
