Hey, I just signed up on these forums. I've mainly been hanging out at the 3DS forums, but I figured I would broaden my horizons a bit and check out this place as well. It seems like a nice community... different, but nice. As for Wii U itself, I'm not completely sold on it quite yet. I'm sure I will be by the time it launches.
I hope to be fairly active on this site!

Why the average person would even want to buy a TV higher than 1080p is beyond me. I can't even tell the difference between 720 and 1080.
And I personally don't own an HD TV. I'm already really behind as is.

Wii U is an... alright name I suppose. It doesn't make much sense, but then again, neither does xbox 360.
I just think they could do better, though it's not likely that the name will change at this point.

Chrono Cross... Or you know, continuing the series would be nice as well. I guess that wouldn't work with SE's current staff, though. 
I know everyone wants Final Fantasy 7 in HD, but I'd actually like to see 8 or 9 get that treatment. Final Fantasy 9 is one of my favorite games ever.

I'm not a huge fan of FPS games, but I'm glad they'll be there for those who are.
It's not just FPS game that will be more common, though. Hopefully many other third party games make it on Wii U as well! (Elder Scrolls, plz)

A Pokemon MMO would be amazing, and Nintendo knows it.

It depends mainly on the price, which is actually a huge factor as to whether I'm going to buy it or not. If it's too high of a price, then it will turn off casuals, as well as gamers who don't usually buy Nintendo consoles. It might even keep Nintendo fans from buying in, after the 3DS price drop fiasco.
There are other factors too of course, but I'd say that price is the big one. $300 to $350 seems like a good range. Any higher, and there'll be trouble.
