My question is, if its actual gameplay, the camera is not behind the character, moving in 3d world? its still landscapes that changes when the character reach the limit of the screen? like final fantasy X?

elfs are an androgynous species in the lore by defult.  They move fast, they unite their existence and creation with the moon, etc.. In fact elfs are the ancient chinese. Elfs is the imaginary and partially true - lore of their existence and creation... All games who promote elf lores, are typically chinese culture promotions (never forget that they have the 4 celestial gods, tiger, monkey, turtle and dragon that reflect to 4 ancient species, races on earth, you can see all countries arround the globe with the half moon in their flags, its different races that reflect that). We have them in our books as well, but not as elfs... They came from the moon (LEVAN) thats how the myth of Adam and EVA came out (ADAM is the 4 corners of planer earth and EVA is L EVA N, the moon) and firstly they resided along with the posidonians for some time, before Atlantis destroyed (you know posidonians as Atlantians). The story goes on, but I wont tell more, not here! lol Thats for the elfs..

 

as for the game, it really looks amazing and maybe the most anticipated and amazing game showed at E3 2014. Xbox show, was all about war games and they showed a cute one, just to break the monotony of war and kill...  EA show was amazingly borring, Ubisoft show was like last year and I havent seen Sony conference yet, I may watch it in a replay in a point.

It looked absolutely great! Yet, this was just an ingame or cg render. Am looking forward to see gameplay

I just saw it, splatoon and mario party looks amazing, I wish mario party monopoly as well, it looked like that.  As for X game, @19:58 of the nintendo direct and up to 20:00 you can see some flora popping up from nowhere, I hope they fix this and it looks really amazing beyond that.

 

These amibos are very important for nintendo business lately, they make lots of money. Some people are so crazy about them, they even buy them all, so others wont get it and re-sell it much higher after!

The making new franchises part is a great idea but, the ''upgrading'' consoles is a bad idea,you would be doing what Sega did with the Genesis and the 32x and Sega CD add ons to improve the system. in the end they overwhelmed the consumer and the system end up failing after their first years of glory when it was just... Genesis. After losing money on those add ons and consumer trust, they released a half baked console (Sega Saturn) and totally lost it there making them have to rush to release the Dreamcast and ending up losing dramatically against the PS2 one year later... you would also make Nintendo go to bankrupsy. 

Stik with the making new franchises thing and everythings gonna be fine lol. 

then locked hardware and unlocking when the time comes with new bios.. I am against the low lifespan of a console, if the console have potential.  If wii was a better hardware, nintendo could still keep that and the 110million users!  Unlock more potential and keep going.

 

I grow with super nintendo, so I ave experienced the 32x... it was not a big deal, thats why it failed. The games was not a big difference! I remember 32x came out and nintendo made the donkey kong that looked even better!  But it had hardware accelerator inside the cartridge!  So u see?  Its not the 32x, it was just not a big deal.

 

I also think nintendo used a 32fx chip or something, inside some games... I cant remember, so many years. But it worked out!

What would you do?

- Buy Capcom
  > Bring back Mega Man and proper Resident Evils
  > Possibly older titles, and make a new Eternal Darkness game (?)
- Push Nintendo into Mobile
  > Apparently they have this Kirby Epic yarn picture modifier, and that would've been a good app.
- Improve Club Nintendo / Nintendo Network
  > Keep the rewards, but just have a general store.
- Create a Zelda Maker, and expand Mario Maker both through DLC
  > Such as Music creation.
- Nintendo Coloring Book on Wii U
- Pay 1/4 of dev cost for third parties to publish games on Wii U.
- Expand games, give games like Punch Out, Excite, Wars more presence.
- Give the eShop better UI. 

 

You would bankrupt nintendo

 

I personally, would keep it as it is, 1 desktop console and 1 handheld.  But I would offer a strong desktop console and for more than 5 years.  I dont understand their logic into life spans... I would keep built quality up, expandable machines (a wii U that can get upgrades, such us more ram and a dual gpu for feature games) and the lifespan would be 10-15 years, if I had nintendo. I would preffer instead of focusing in attractive cheap hardware, to offer a platform for many years and invest in games, instead of research in new ways of play... lol

 

I would focus in open world games and new franchises, for both casual and hard core. And I would buy a western studio, because nitendo is all about eastern culture and gameplay. They luck in western likes.  Everything has to do with elfs, moon and turtles.   An example is Crytek right now is in the brick of bankruptcy, I would buy crytek and Konami (because Konami has the football game, also Mr. Snake).

 

I would also make a series of metroid games, like a mass effect series and style...

 

I am against mobility, so no interest of pushing nintendo into mobile... even my personal mobile phone is 12 years old.. lol

Then there is no point for a new console, even if wii U sells less than the other 2, whats the point of making something that does not reflect the rest, but nintendo itself only. Just to point out, whatever machine nintendo makes, the way the market is, they will always have decline.  I think thats what the devs pointed out, that nintendo never asks the demands of other companies about their games, in the current state and in the feature. So they decline wii U (thats their oficial rant against nintendo, i think). So many games comming into 360 and ps3 still, but they skip nintendo... Because these things.  Both 360 and ps3 are IBM based machines so its not the IBM cpu the thing that conflicts it.

 

So its safer to stick with the Wii U and make a console every 10 years or so.  It will still be profitable, slower but profitable.

 

ps: I think i saw Miyamoto trying the oculus glasses in the last year E3, I hope they wont come with something similar, VR never works.

 

Humour : In the other hand, I remember nintendo registered a patend before wii U release and (not for wii U as it proved), for weather control, smells of ur house, laundry stuff etc... Do you remember that??? A sensor could detect if you have smelly cloths or dirty cloths, if you need laundry, etc... It could detect the weather otuside ur house and bring it on the game, etc.. I want a gaming machine with games and support

Nitnendo must achieve a system capable of 60fps and 1080p in most of games without issues. Also capable of running all next gen engines and not in a ripped off version (cut down)...

 

PS4 and X1 are not capable of 1080p and 60fps, something is wrong... Nintendo should hit them there.

 

I would love IBM cpu, but with the latest amd official tweets, I fear that AMD is capitalizing consoles with amd cpu cores... because amd sucks in capitals, in pc after all.

 

the new nintendo console will come around 2016 and the end of ps4 and x1, will come around 2020-2022.  That will bring nintendos new system in a str8 forward battle. And hopefully many 3rd parties will make games for nintendo this time around.

 

Another wish for the new system is the capabilities for HUGE world games, like mmos or rpgs... We've read articles by devs, who claimed that PS4 and X1 power is not enough "already", in the AI aspect for their games.... So nintendo, should focus in the AI capabilities of its new system.  This is a second thing, nintendo should look at... to offer even better AI power. 

 

It has something to do with the cpu power actualy...  So nintendo must give a better cpu than the 8 cores ps4 and x1 using.  To beef them up more, more cache, more transistors whatever they need... just beef them up.

Ubisoft is horrible, but nintendo must give a feature proof system, 

1) ibm cpu 6 cores 12 threads @ 2.5ghz modern tech  4 or 6mb cache.   (ibm cpus normally have more threads per core, so 6/12 is not a big issue, its allready cut in half)

2) about 2.5 Tflops gpu with mantle support and dx12 features.  (this performance was 3-4 years ago in PC as a maximum per card) so 2.5 when wii U 2 comes, is nothing... it should be 3.

3) 16 gigs of ram, (ddr4) which 2 of them are GDDR5 (graphics memory) -  DDR4 is extremly expensive now, but in a year it will fall about 50% down.  It will be the standard, as ddr3 is today.

 

basic model comes with 120-200gigs of HDD and the nintendo patent of bluray discs.

 

I believe this package will outperform the competitors and 3rd support wont be able to complain.

xbox one will be about 30-40m , it will be the gamecube of this generation.

wii U is doom and glum about 15m, like never existed...  Nintendo will make a new console in 2 years I bet.  If we monitor the lifespan of their consoles, they play between 4-6 years for each platform... If wii U cannot make it, they will release a new one in 2+years.  (this year is very critical for wii U, lets wait and see, after mario kart8 and bayonetta, how it goes).

i am not a hater, i c things realistic   I did the same thing, I saw it comming, with the controller, before they even release it.

 

You can search my very first posts, before even wii U get released, I screamed about against the controller, while others wanted 2-3-4 screen controllers.

The $400 console that isn't marketed towards the family/casual market whatsoever is going to sell more than the $250/$200 Wii, which, if I remember anything about the last generation, completely caught on with the family/casual crowd, completely blew any and all sales expectations out of the water, and still only sold almost 101 million consoles worldwide?

 

 

I thought wii U was ponting to core gamers and hardcore stuff..? change of plans?   It will face even bigger problems if they focus in Wii stuff, because casuals and family, change 1 device, every 20 years....

but if you love some comforting... I dont think x1 will increase its sales from titanfall or any equivalent to titanfall.... I like fps games, but this game is very dry, EA is dry, EA games for a reason are soulless, dragonian. They have no spirit and it creates you a mud, not to play them... Maybe the truth about EA is somewhat near to that theory. Its not the EA that I knew in the past. Their games now are a bit... More like a monkey is trying to create something unique for a human brain and they cant do it.  Only bioware makes somewhat good games, but they loosing it in a long term support... Maybe gear of wars when it comes out and halo... other than that.... xbox 1 is.... crap and you can see that in the sales... with the latest news, I suspect nintendo abandons IBM and moves to a pc technology... AMD also said they built a new cpu+gpu chip for a new console for 2016...

 

That means, wii U is the last console with backwards support.  Now lets see if Nintendo will make wii U2 a bit more powerful than current x1 and ps4... If they truly use x86 tech, it will be easily comparable.

 

If they play safe again and make it near to x1 and ps4 hardware, or identical, I consider it as a stupid move... Because the other 2 consoles will be already established and wii U 2 must appeal to others! And normally the super duper specs make people buy things, more than the games

 

But it will also be clever for nintendo, because when the other 2 consoles will start to straggle, wii U2 will fly even higher... A key point is, Nintendo must give 1080p next gen and 60 fps experience.... That is what all people ask, up to date, ps4 and x1 cant offer that in most of their games.

 

I also suspect that Metroid open world game, will come with wii U2 (Expanded metroid universe).

They just have to give a more powerful IBM cpu... A 3 core 4 thread per core cpu, would be enough  or 4 cores 16 threads.

 

IBM cpus have 4 threads per core.  So a 4 core IBM cpu is like 16 cores for amd.  But Nintendo cut wii U cpu down, they cheaped it very much. So its not the IBM we should blame here or to consider IBM as a weak cpu.

 

We have to blame 2 things for why wii U lucks in 3rd games..

 

1) Nintendo play safe and they end up without 3rd games. Also nintendo cares allot of making profit from hardware. Cheap hardware and sell it very expensive. Thats what they did with gamecube and wii....

2) Gaming companies, cheap productions costs at maximum.  They create 1 game and they just look to do easy porting, to make more profits.  That is why they dont support wii U.

 

So as far as I remember, when wii U came out, some paid developers from MS or Sony, start ranting wii U... horrible, weak, junk and whatever...  So they made gamers not to buy it.  I remember the ranting.

They tried to slow down the sales of wii U and they made it...  Wii U start selling more, after ps4 and x1 release... That means something, their slowed it down till they release their own.

well... I got disappointed 1 month ago, that Bethesda decided to make a newer version of skyrim for x1 and ps4, but they didnt even gave a #$#$@$@ about porting even the old version in the wii U.

Iwata did today!! And tomorrow is the investors meeting, he may cry there to. Lets hope they find something that works for wii U, soon. The way things go, wii U may achieve less sales than gamecube. I disagree with Nintendos policies, to reduce the salaries of the stuff by 50% AND THEIR salary only 20% "puritans" ... Those who #$#$# things up, pay less? I check vgchartz and x1 dont have good sales either, only ps4 sales are much higher... So wii U it is... The sad part is, that nintendo offered again an exclusive nintendo box. They have to step up, because economy is bad, if someone does not wish to buy many consoles, but 1...  Wii U is not the ideal offer for feature games.
