Especially take this advice. There are a bunch of doom and gloom people on here who believe the Wii U is doomed because it's off to a slow start. They'll be eating their words once the Wii U finally takes off when games are released.

Trust me bro, don't let my Profile Image fool you I tell many many people all the time how stupid it is to say a console is doomed like they want it to die.

I remember when I got my 3DS people were saying that crap and It was really annoying, same thing with PS Vita and Wii U now, its really aggravating.

Anyway back on to the subject, I heard that Wii U also supports External Hard Drives and I spotted a pretty 1TB HDD that I want to get with my Wii U this Summer. So I was wondering could anyone confirm this? I know that 8GB sure isn't enough space for even 1 Full HD game like Zelda, especially with all the content they cram into those games.

I also wanted to know that If I'm using a Gamepad how long roughly does the battery last? I hate Xbox controllers and their battery/battery life, so my DS3 (Dual Shock 3) usually last me about a week of gameplay.

He's ugly, I miss the old days of Pokemon. He better not be an evolution or else that kills it for me...I will still get X & Y regardless.

I am buying a Wii U and a 3DS, I have had a 3DS but I am getting another. What are some things I need to know before getting a Wii U? Anything I need to know in general about the system, the games, what's the best games out there? What are issues with it? What are really great features?

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate seems to be a real stelar title.

Seems Vita is getting most of the remakes and PS3 are getting the newer titles, the thing is that Vita won't be getting any localized games any time soon.

Graphically it would something close to this. This game is gonna look stunning either way you slice it.

Looks great, but I bet the real thing will look a lot better. Higher polygon count, better lighting, higher-quality textures... It's sure to look great; have you seen Nintendo Land???

Yeah Nintendo Land looks absolutely amazing, no joke its just awesome! I doubt the graphics would look far from this but yeah it could even look better. I just wish they would bring Roy, Mewtwo , and Pichu back. My motto is never add someone to the roster you are not planning to keep, especially if they are 1st Party.

I think I'm getting a 3DS guys, I heard MH4 has Online and I do want a proper Monster Hunter without shelling 350+ for a system (Wii U). But I will get a Wii U also, not now but when there is a proper price point.

I am looking forward to X and Y, I also will be getting MH4 since Online Multiplayer has been confirmed which was the only thing holding me back.

So although I am not to interested in the MH3U version on 3DS, I heard that MH4 will have Online Play so I will be getting it. Looks like I'm getting another 3DS, not the XL I hate the way it looks like a fat brick. >_<

Does this game have an easy or beginner difficulty setting?

 

I want to have fun killing monsters on easy and then when ready, go to normal setting

No difficulty settings are available you simply have to stick with the earlier quests if you are not ready for the later ones. That's all there is to it, but simply give the game some time and you will love it, also make sure you use your controller of choice.

Of course graphics matter, its just for better visuals but other things come along with better graphics so Graphics matter is a complete yes to me.

New here, wanted some nice Wii U forums to discuss games and so forth!

 

Baislcy I never played a Monster Hunter (MH) game before, hence this one I looked forward to on the wii U!  I expected from reading sites a game that you level up your char, get the gear and armor up your main charcter whilst fighting bosses etc etc.

 

After trying the demo it seems you always pick from a template of chars and then the game is very linear map areas which loads when you run only a few CM's up the snow.  Was hoping for a real good indepth game with massive boss battles, leveling and tweaking the chars we play.... along with Co-Op play (thats if MH3 will have any).

 

Is the Demo a true rep of the game or have  I just built m hopes up too high?

 

 

I can not see myself buying this title.. which is a same as I was so excited.  The combat feels really rigidg and not smooth enough and just smashing buttons on a boss to end the level......

You need to know how to play to enjoy the game. Its not as simple as mashing, this is how people know you are a noob before you state it. Monster Hunter is about watching the monster's moves, reacting and using your large arsenal to defeat them.
