So guys I left for a while I am happily leading a PSVITA Forum but I am really interested in a PlayStation Vita and I will get me a Wii U.

So I'm back to stay guys, I want to help out the site as much as I can.
I also have some connections with Ubisoft and Sony so I can help within those general areas.

Glad to be back, I love the design of these forums and I will be on my WiiU playing Zelda HD, Monster Hunter, and more Multiplayer titles with you guys!

I probably wouldn't take these rumors lightly but 50 seems perfect, I can't spend 120 on 2 games otherwise I will just have to buy some Wii games to hold me.

Come on MH fans. Sound off. Are you as excited as I am? What are your hopes for the Wii U version? How do you think the online play will be? And most importantly... are you getting it?

Super excited for this, and I get to play it while walking around the house, the Wii U and my Vita will keep me busy this year.

Gotta get me my Wii U this November, trying to get a job to pay off my basic games and accessories.
Monster Hunter is looking great on the Wii U and as much as I would love o play this on the go, I feel the 3DS wouldn't meet my standards so I'll stick with the Wii U version,

They are indeed, the only issue I have is the low quality of the 3DS version.

Yes, the game is getting localized. Coming this March on Wii U and 3DS.

If I remember correctly Monster Hunter Tri had a "Turn off blood" in the Options, but since I never used it I don't know if it turns it off completely or just tones it down. You can also lessen how much blood is shown by using elemental weapons.

I doubt that, I am more of a SONY fan than Nintendo but Nintendo will always hold their own easy because of the support from 1st party and the massive advertisment and child focus.

Well the way I see it 3G HD/Tri Ultimate is better mainy because of water based gameplay and that it will be less confusing using an actual controller to do combat underwater. Plus MH4 is lacknig monsters that 3G has, 3G has 39 monsters that I have counted, however we only have a handful announced on 3DS.

That's a damn shame..My wife won't forgive me if I buy a potential 100+ hour TV game. The 3DS version it is then Kinda hoped the Gamepad would work if only for Dual Stick

The only way I would ever switch to completely digital is if I have more than enough space for 50+ games and it will be avialable always such as purchasing through PSN, I have no idea how Nintendo Network works but if its anything like PSN I am sold.

Having both 3DS and Vita, I can say I like my 3DS more. Vita is a good handheld don't get me wrong, it's just where's the games? 3DS FINALLY has the good gems coming out. I only own 3 retail Vita games, and some digital downloads. I honestly think E3 this year might make or break the Vita, we could hear TONS of news about the Vita which would be great. I still have faith in PS Vita.

I can see that, I have 4 retail games for my PS Vita and I have several digital titles.
I play it everyday although if Sony would give more effort towards Vita it would have done much better, the issue is they are giving PS3 more attention, we understand that it is a home console but when a portion of your figures is slowing because a mistake you have made with your device then it needs to be fixed.

It needs to be the main priority.

The 3DS' defining year? With what games...?

Here's some of the currently announced Vita games for this year:

• Killzone - Mercenary
• Tearaway
• Gods Eater 2
• Dead or Alive 5+
• Ninja Gaiden - Sigma 2+
• Soul Sacrifice

Not an amazing list but personally with all the games I got at the end of last year I'll be busy with my Vita for quite some time while my 3DS is collecting dust.

These games wont significantly boost Vita sales but they are some of the bigger titles that we know of at this point. I am hopeful that Sony is smart enough to have some big game announcements for E3 or elsewhere later in the year. A big first party title like God of War would definitely do the Vita well but at this point we can only hope there is one in the works, there were rumours that the Vita was getting a new MGS title so we'll also have to wait and see on that.

The Vita's highest selling game in the US last year was CoD:BOD that sold 317,000 units, the game that was slammed by critics for being utter crap and yet it sold the most copies on the system. It just goes to show that these people aren't after quality games, just names they recognise. Compare this to RE:R, arguably the best game on the 3DS on the 3DS, that sold less than 200,000 units in the US since its release it really shows you what kind of gamers are buying each of these systems. On top of this the highest selling third party title on the 3DS in its lifetime is Angry Birds with over 400,000 units sold.

It is also worth mentioning there is word of a Vita price drop sometime this year so that's something to keep an eye out for also.

The Vita will not die by October... It's not a system with mass appeal like the 3DS so it's going to take longer to pick up just like the PSP, the games will continue to come at a reasonable pace and we can only hope they announce more throughout the year; until then we can only wait.

Sly Cooper is coming out in February I think, it's pretty much the same as the PS3 version but I think they are offering cross buy on it so if you buy the PS3 version you get both.

Nice. Your console you play more is all based upon personal preference, so your 3DS might not be as entertaining as your PS Vita its not that any console is less than others (except Xbox...).
The fact is the Vita has great games, its your preference here are games I love:

Still never got to complete Mario Kart Wii since I sold my Wii but um I like the choice of characters we all know Donkey Kong has his own series, but the reason he's in there because of the Mario & Donkey Kong game. Adding other Nintendo character would be stupid with that said I would like to see:

• Lakitu

Now I know that Nitnendo most likely won't but I'd love to see costumes:

Don't start this....please don't because the 3DS is region locked so some of those games might not even be available and as for E3 every console gets games at E3 PS3, PS Vita, PSP (even), 3DS, Wii U and even the Wii.

The game basically bombed on the 3DS, so why would it do better on a dying handheld?

PS Vita isn't dying, a console isn't dead unless the company gives up on it and SONY consoles always start off slow so why are you bringing this up like its something new? O.o

The psp support was very finnicky. American companies didn't touch it. Very few people I knew even had one. It was ridiculously under-powered. the Vita is a powerhouse with no games.

Hit the buzzer because that's a wrong answer the PSP was also considered a powerhouse back then and I will without a doubt admit DS was a much much better system without all the power, but don't act as if the Vita has no games, just no games you are interested in....
Your choice preference maybe you want games that have a more child appropriate status I don't know but please don't try and contradict a fresh new handheld without knowing your facts... >_>
