#59015 Zeldish type mmorg?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 01 February 2012 - 12:33 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I actually can see them making a zelda-ish MMO.

But I can see them make an actual Zelda MMO. It could take place during the Seal War, and you have to go though the land fighting the evils that come out of the portal to the sacred realm.

#63173 Zelda Demo 15% of What WiiU is capable of?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 23 February 2012 - 09:32 AM in Wii U Hardware

It seems the "HD Experience" (=Zelda-Demo) was rendered in 720p without AA and at 30 fps. Source.
Since I personally hope (and regard it likely) for a native 1080p-output in the 8th console generation, you can conclude the graphics of the "HD-Experience" are the absolute maximum of what can be achieved in a WiiU game. Even if they change the hardware for the better (which nobody knows for sure); a real game is more difficult to compute than a demo.

Also, some people seemed confused with the rumour about the WiiU's strength compared to the Xbox Trinity. It was said the Xbox would be 20% stronger than the WiiU.

WII U has native 1080p, I can't remember the source, but I KNOW it has it. And I want to point out that the Zelda demo was rushed to production.(It took them 3 months to make the thing, and they weren't even going to make it, but then the rumors came along.)

Also, we know that the rumor is that it's 20% less powerful, but the only thing they said to prove that was the GPU, and when we compared it ourselves, we found the Wii U to be superior.

I think what he meant to say was that the demo was rushed so it didn't show off what the Wii U is truly capable of.

#65112 Your favourite MK7 Character?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 06 March 2012 - 08:44 AM in General Gaming

Yoshi, because he's Yoshi!

Really, it's because when me and my bros. were young, we would fight over Yoshi in MK64, and we've been doing it ever since.

#60802 Yay or Nay for Mad World 2 on the Wii U?

I doubt it would happen, SEGA made madworld, and it bombed.

#57269 Xbox 720 to be 20% more powerful then the Wii U

Could you link to the source?

#57228 Xbox 720 to be 20% more powerful then the Wii U

Sorry I'm late to the discussion,. THIS IS AWESOME!!!! I am so hyped, especially because the Wii U's GPU is going to be superior to the Nextbox. I so hope these rumors are true

Thanks!

#57494 Xbox 720 to be 20% more powerful then the Wii U

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 26 January 2012 - 09:35 AM in Wii U Hardware

It's possible that each game will have a distinct code,(Not like serial numbers, but rather, on the disc itself)and after the first time it's used, it will be linked to the gamertag forever.

Yeah, it sounds weird, but that's the way I envision it.

#57243 Xbox 720 Hardware Announced

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 25 January 2012 - 11:55 AM in General Gaming

^^^ It is.

Well then! If it is just 20% then it isnt that bad! Plus we dont even know the specs for the Wii U! So for all that we know then they may as well be called equally as powerful.

If we go just by rumored GPU specs, then The Wii U will be as, or possibly even more powerful than Nextbox. With that said, GPU isn't everything, so we definitively have a fair fight on our hands.

#57263 Xbox 720 Hardware Announced

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 25 January 2012 - 01:25 PM in General Gaming

I compaired the two and from what I saw, the Wii U's GPU specs DESTROYS that of the NextBox!
If what I was predicting, Microsoft going casual with a lower powered console, then this was expected.

I said that with the possibility that they went with the low end for smaller costs, but I do believe they went with the high end as well.

And them going casual would be like say "Forget all of the Hardcore gamers that got us where we are, THIS is where the money is."

Where's the logic?

#70141 Xbox 720 "includes 16 core processor"

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 06 April 2012 - 08:15 PM in General Gaming

Isn't Sony in some kind of financial trouble on the game market?
Or did I dream that?
Someone please tell me.

Everyone is in Finacial trouble, Sony esspecially.

I don't see this as true whatsoever. The system would be REALLY expencive, and I don't the the Microsoft shareholders would let a loss like that slide.

#68476 Xbox 720 "A generation leap" Says a NeoGaf source

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 29 March 2012 - 11:17 AM in Wii U Hardware

In responce to the OP

Here's my question: Why?

Xbox was, whether you like them or not, Dead on Arrival. Just as we have Shareholders saying Nintendo should go make games for Apple, there defniativly has to be people at Microsoft saying that this gaming venture is stupid. Shareholders only really listen to money, and they're not getting any. If they were to do another leap, they would be commiting suicide in the eyes of shareholders, as they wouldn't be making money. They're losing money as is.

#61359 Worst Video Game Fanbase

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 12 February 2012 - 06:53 PM in General Gaming

I would say Angry Bird's fans. Nuff said.

Ok fine, I'll give something else as well.

Blind fans. Nothing get's under my skin more than a fan who would jump off a cliff because their fav. whatever told them to.

#65623 Will F-Zero make a comeback ?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 10 March 2012 - 09:33 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Grand Theft F-Zero

Imagine falcon punching a police officer and then jumping into his vehicle at 2000 miles per hour while they chase you down

.......

No, Just no.

#63334 Will F-Zero make a comeback ?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 24 February 2012 - 02:50 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I actually believe they should be making an F-Zero game for the Wii U. A fast pace, hardcore sci-fi racer could be just the thing to show off the true power of the Wii U.

#62004 WiiU Trophy/Achievement system

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 16 February 2012 - 04:25 PM in Wii U Hardware

So which one?

Stamps, trophies, acheivements, rewards, medals, or prizes.

I like the idea though of the achievement system. When your playing a game an achievement can pop up on your controller. Going on with the wii clothes idea. Every time you accomplish achievements, you can get mii points. Mii points can be used to buy things in the mii store. Like clothes, glasses, or shoes. So if you defeat Sonic in Super Smash Bros. You can get 10 mii points, or so. Then when you are done playing the game you can go to the Mii store and buy some items for the miis. Say a new set of eyes is 30 mii points, you can buy it. When you first enter the mii channel the clothes, eyes, etc. are default. but every week or so, Nintendo can publish new clothes.

I don't want the acheivement to be on the screen to long though, 2 seconds is fine. I would want it to be like NFL 2k5, where it shows very quick ,"You have been playing for an hour 170 crib points are added to your bankroll." But only two seconds. I picture the acheivement notification system to show a blue and white box in the corner showing you accomplished one.

The trophies can be sculptures of Nintendo characters. On the menu it can show the trophy room. Then the First party game trophies are Nintendo charcters. The 3rd party trophies can be plaques saying something like this "You got 25 kills in Battlefield 4." This notification system can work offline and online.

That sounds like a pretty good idea, but if it were implemented, I think you would earn Play Coins, that way you can use them for more than just Mii Stuff.

#60944 WiiU Sonic

The WiiU can probably make Sonic look like this maybe even better.

Nice PhotoShop, where'd you find it?

#60170 WiiU Renaming Suggestions (New Names)

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 06 February 2012 - 09:12 PM in Wii U Hardware

It's already called Nintendo Network.

I don't really like the name "Ecco." Did you mean Eco? Cause they would get sued by the shoe brand. Ecco shoes type it in on google.

I think he meant Echo

#59218 WiiU Renaming Suggestions (New Names)

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 02 February 2012 - 12:30 PM in Wii U Hardware

That is exactly what I think. Keeping Wii in the name will confuse those people and they won't understand that there is a difference between the two. Unless people go out and do some intense research, they might as well call it a Wii. Some people don't use common sense and take the time to find out about the system just because the name Wii is in it. My older brother at first didn't realize it new console because it was called Wii U, I had to tell him what it was before relized it was a new system...

Which is why they're thinking about changing the name, they said so themselves.

Although I can't believe that people are that ignorant though.

#65839 WiiU Renaming Suggestions (New Names)

Still going for 1080, I've spoken my thoughts on a different thread.

#65841 WiiU Renaming Suggestions (New Names)

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 11 March 2012 - 07:59 PM in Wii U Hardware

Well this is the original thread his should be locked, it is a duplicate this one was apparently posted first.

Okay then.

I think it should be called Nintendo 1080, because it's the first true native 1080p console. It also means that they would be doing WAY more than a "360".

#58607 WiiU Renaming Suggestions (New Names)

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 30 January 2012 - 07:57 AM in Wii U Hardware

I still don't think that they should have Wii in the name, maybe it's my nostalgia for all the consoles being different names(Save the NES and SNES).

If they REALLY want to keep that install base from Wii, then why not slap on "From the makers of Nintendo WIi" sticker or somthing.

#58243 WiiU Renaming Suggestions (New Names)

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 28 January 2012 - 04:45 PM in Wii U Hardware

While I think Wii U is a good name, I think Nintendo can, and should, choose a better one. Let's face it, the 3DS debacle, along with so-called "hardcore" gamers calling the Wii a kiddie system, keeping the Wii brand could end up hurting the system rather than helping.

Yes, keeping the Wii brand could have loyalists come on board, but if that's the case, why did they drop the Nintendo Entertainment System brand after the SNES? I'm just saying those who love Nintendo will always buy Nintendo.

Besides, I am a firm believer in Nintendo being the brand, not the system like the Wii or the NES.

#67657 WiiU game prices

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 23 March 2012 - 07:58 PM in Wii U Hardware

How about they let the publishers decide? Some games deserve to cost $60, while others only deserve to cost 50. I think publishers should decide for every individual game.

No, COD would Become $80, and then it will break money earned records. WE DON'T WANT THAT.
