In Australia, prices are usually seriously over inflated anyway, and the US always gets the best deal (and still complains about pricing).

Even the 8GB of flash was only a rumour, the only things Nintendo has said about the storage is that it's flash memory, and can be expanded by SD card or an external HDD.

Yeah, it's the reason why the 3DS was so expensive at launch, and why the DSi is so expensive. Retailers literally put whatever price they want and say it's an RRP when Nintendo can't set an RRP in the EU.

I want a full 3D(not 3DS 3D, although that's a bonus) HD remake of Final Fantasy VI, it's already the best FF ever and making it with Gorgeous 3D graphics and voice acting will probably make the story even better, the Opera Scene would be great, and Ultros would be oh so funny.

Why would retro release Conduit 3? It's a High Voltage Franchise, not Nintendo's.

I want to see Retro work on something original, they've had 10 years of experience now, and with the new staff they're hiring I reckon they could do it.

The Paranoma demo did have a lot of frame drops afaik.
I really hope the Wii U can compete the 720 and ps4(Which is gonna be the 8th cell in the ps3 ?)

But I don't think we can go much beyond the graphics of the Zelda WiiU Demo.. So if Nintendo can really make a game looking like that without any lag or so.
That would be good. As to top that, like 720 and ps4 want to do, their console would be really expensive.

Btw, can we use the WiiU controller as a Tablet?
I think we can, as you don't have to turn on the WiiU self to use if. Which is awesome.

Like as in that WiiUfit trailer, you just took your balance board, connected it with the WiiU controller. BAM, your weight is measured.

The Panorama was a video, not graphics, it was made from a really low resolution camera shot at all angles like Google Streetview.

eDRAM is essentially L3 cache. The 360 has 10mb.

The Xbox360 has 1MB of L2 cache(total), the EDRAM in that is used for the GPU, not the CPU, it even says if you click on the hardware link.

Where as the Wii U will apparently use the EDRAM as cache(like the Power7 does), hence 4MB of L3 cache per core(like the Power7). Although I don't know why people are saying it's a tri-core, no-one knows how many cores it has except for Nintendo and the developers.

The tablet's screen resolution is 854 x 480, a bit more than 480p. But by the looks of it, that's a guess. But by the end it could be more than that.

I write for another website(cubed3.com), and wrote news on E3 and I can honestly say it was never there.

It's like people saying that the Wii U will be using an RV770 based GPU, there's never been any evidence, only IGN's and Wikipedia's word for it.

The controller isn't HD!!! It can only support 480p so it's not hd I mean come on people get it through your heads...

It's not HD but it's a Higher Resolution than 480p

Actually, I own three internet connected devices. A Wii, 3DS, HP Touchpad, Android smartphone, and an Apple iMac (1st gen Intel). Don't own a Windows device.

Correction, five internet devices. I have three that I use for browsing.

I don't think he meant you in particular, he just meant that Windows is by far the most popular PC operating system.

This price, is proving me, that wii U is a minor update of 360.. And Iwata said, they will not loose money from the hardware.. And normally, after the release, Amazon.. ALWAYS reduce the price by 15%... that means, wii U will cost around 169-179 pounds.

You're believing the pricing that comes out before Nintendo announce anything, if there ever was a facepalm moment, this is it. I mean, Shopto has it at £279.00

And the GC was £130 at launch, yet it was a lot more powerful than the PS2 was. Nintendo can make fairly powerful hardware at a convenient price, although they have said that the Wii U is going to be expensive.

Yeah, that post is complete bs, I've read wsippels posts in the past and he seems to just post random things to get attention.

Looking at clock speeds doesn't tell you the full power, and there's no way that the Wii U has a tri core PowerPC 750 cpu, that can't be clocked over 1Ghz. Also, we know that Nintendo's using a Power CPU in the console, so that totally debunks that alone.

Plus, bgAssassin reckons it's an OoOE chip rather than in order like the 360, Out of order execution (OoOE)chips can have lower clock speeds, and yet have a better performance than In order chips because they're more efficient. So someone's obviously just looked at most at the clock rate and thought that would be that.

But getting a PS4's your decision, I might get one in the future as well, nothing stopping me from getting both except for the matter of time and money.

Yes because Amazon never makes rumors!!... look what it says ... The product will be released at 14th of July!!!! thats news!!! And they accept pre-orders at that price. NOT only that... they will get the black version of wii U... look the details.

that means, those who preoredered it, got it in half the price? (londoners are horrible people and funny, I lived in the coast, east Sussex, 40 minutes by train in london or from london. So every Sunday the whole london moved in the area I lived, you couldnt MOVE.. and they loot bazillion of stuff, I remember walking in the shopping center, and the alarms ring every second!! But I also thing that "looting" is a short of tradition there... lol

I lived in the uk, at the time with Blair government (2004-2007)... I also hate ur spiders...

Funnily enough, I live in East Sussex at the moment, in Falmer near Brighton (I go to Sussex Uni).

But yah, whoever got a pre-order in got a good deal.
