1. Chrono Trigger is the greatest RPG of all time not ff7
2. the game would've either had to have been sold on like 4 different N64 cartridges or been a niche 64DD title
3. would've looked marginally better and may have sold a few more 64's but overall prob wouldn't have been worth it for square

As talented as I think Platinum games is, I simply don't think that they are a good fit for the metroid series since metroid games tend to be more subdued and atmospheric, whereas platinum games tends to make flashy and stylized games

If said event happened then I'd simply do all indie pc and retro gaming.
Though if someone goes down this gen, I'd bank on Sony, sure they're good to their fans, but they've made some bad buisness decisions (lack of Vita price cut for a while and cost of ps3 at launch to name a few) and they lack the kind of brand power that nintendo and microsoft have.

The trouble between 3rd Parties and Nintendo started with the N64, but for the same reason. When they finally had good disc sizes, it was the Wii...
Technically it started with the NES with Nintendo's policies such as the neccesary quality control of the Nintendo Seal of approval or the required two year exclusivity required on NES games

Sonic and Sega All Stars is really great (prob better than Mario Kart 7 if you ask me)
But Luigi's Mansion 2 should be your first choice, because the concept is unique, and I want to have a LM3 someday

I still use my Gamecube to this day, its actually my second one got it dirt cheap. I mostly play F-Zero, Paper Mario TTYD, Metroid Prime and Soul Calibur 2.

The game isn't too hard and has lots of replayability and a fun concept, so I'd recommend it
Super Scribblenauts for the DS would probably be the best version to get since it has multiple save files (unlike Scribblenauts Unlimited) and playground mode, where you can just create stuff without an objective.

I feel that if they did pretty much what they did with Xenoblade, I'll be happy with it. Though I would appreciate it if the story was a little less animesque.

I was also going to put up Monster Hunter Tri, but it's having it's servers shut down soon, and Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate is coming out soon as well. Might as well go for the superior version.
