While that's true, nobody knows if this will change. Notably, a lot of people traded their Wii for a PS3 or 360 just because of Call of Duty.
As much as I'd hate to say it, nothing matters anymore in these console wars except having the definitive version of CoD. MW3 was the biggest release in history, and unless people wise up, nothing will change in that respect. It doesn't matter how many good experiences you can get from a console; if CoD isn't one of them, we lose all of those cassies.

Yes, that was quite the squeal.It is a squeal to a game that THEY made.
Either way, there are only four possibilities I see. In order of least likely to most likely:
- Metroid (because they just made one)
- New IP (it's Retro Studios)
- Star Fox (If you count handhelds, Star Fox still existed last generation [Assault])
- F-Zero (because it works with the controller and all that crap)

They're probably digital, but hell if I care. I only play the "kiddy" racing games where you press a button and the vehicles accelerates. I have tried out those realistic ones, and I find myself pressing the trigger all the way down regardless.

The graph only goes up to 2010.If this is true (and it appears it is), Nintendo kinda sucks because they just cut their employees bonus 20% from last year because of "financial troubles" to the company.
This also explains why the location of Microsoft's and Sony's lines appear off. Quite a lot can happen in two years.
They will never have financial problems, unless they screw something up pretty badly. After all, there is a good chance that your operating system is Microsoft Windows.As for Microsoft, I don't know if they are currently in the red or black. But I know Microsoft isn't on the verge of being in money trouble. At least not yet.

Pikmin 3 seems to be based on collecting treasure, but from what Miyamoto said, there might be a plot about Olimar's absence.
Pikmin 3DS should be about what's going on with Olimar and maybe Louie during the events of Pikmin 3.
In other words, the games would have parallel plots.
