Not really the size, more of its curvyness heheh.Although nintendo could probably make a smaller one i don't see it happening because they clearly said that they are making sure that the gamepad is comfortable and ergonomic, i can't see how a smaller gamepad will be ergonomic. It's almost like the 3ds, where the original one was really uncomfortable because it was small, whereas the xl one was extremely comfortable because of it's larger size.

Lol my brother is considering getting it if it comes to the US... He's getting old and likes big screens nowadays. I just find it funny since he hasn't played Pokemon since gen 2. I guess he just wants a limited edition and finds Pikachu manlier than Mario and Animal Crossing.

But honestly launches are kinda first come first serve, so it would work if they had one available >>Well at the time they did have the stock, now they are completely sold out of both, so I guess I will have to stick to the black one.
I wish I could, but the dude that works at Gamestop said that most likely I would have to get to the back of the line when it comes to pre orders or I might get the 2nd or 3rd rounds of shipments, saying that unless someone fails to show that ordered a white one or changed their order I'm out if luck.

The point brought up about EA treating the Wii and the Vita the same IS interesting. How does a company expect to sell well if they release a sucky port on a system "few" people own? Especially when it's in direct competition with your own product (the PS3 version) I'd at least expect the PS3's port.

Take advantage of the bonus while you can. When it gets closer to launch I won't be surprised if they drop the worth of all the systems. Just play games on something else until the Wii U releases, won't be too long.

To be honest, I actually only got the black version of the Wii U because I did not wanna be the odd ball.
I was in a Gamestop store with around 10 people pre ordering the Wii U and everyone, was getting the Deluxe Wii U as well as Gamestop employees were telling people the Deluxe was a better value.
So when he asked me what color I wanted..everybody looked at me...and I was like Oops...I want the Deluxe also.
But I really wanted the white console, just because it looks cool to me.
I agree, if you prefer the white and don't care about the bonuses, then switch your preorder to white.

As for me... I prefer the white console but the fact that the deluxe comes with the 2 year thing is tempting. And Nintendo Land isn't looking as bad as I thought it'd be. Hearing everything is able to be played singleplayer is a plus too.

What does the stand have to do with it? It can stand without one... I'm confused lol. Never heard of this.Actually, Nintendo revised the Wii twice, first without that bulky Silver stand, and the next without Gamecube ports, because the latest versions don't come with Gamecube controller ports. Google it if you don't believe me. Nintendo made them like the last year into selling the Wii, because they knew they were concentrating on the Wii U.
