Longevity. I want this console to be my main for the entire generation, not just the next 2 years. Things look on track so far, so that is good.

I aldo agree with this. I really hope this system can compete with ps3 and 720 (or whatever its called) for a long time.

For me, its the online. I just hope its on par with what microsoft and sony do. I want it better, but on par would be fine. I am so sick of hearing about how Nintendo could never compete with them online. Its time to kick assssssssssss

Yea...I hope they are working on something. I just feel like Nintendo needs to get more exculsive titles so they can take advantage of the controller and the power of the system.

I dont know if anyone posted about this but, I think Nintendo should get an exclusive WII U racing game like Forza or something like that. Dont get me wrong, I love Mario Kart, but I think a game like that would be super fun and get more people excited for the Wii U if it got more exclusive titles.

To me, it’s crazy. I can’t believe we are only 1 month away from Nintendo releasing its next system. I can honestly sit back and remember, April 2011 when I heard about "Project Cafe" and was very excited for a new system. Since then, I have been patiently waiting...over a year for this to come out and I still can’t believe its just 1 month away. For me, the wait has had ups and downs. After E3 2011 I was left with lots of questions. After E3 2012, I was let down but after a few weeks I was excited again. Then, i got my pre order in minutes after Nintendo Direct and here we are. Just 1 more month. How did it all start for anyone else who wants to share?

So, I really never liked the wii remotes and since we can not get a second gamepad for a while, will the wii u pro controller work for every game or do you think it only works with some games? I would like some sort of 2nd controller for when I play with my friends.

So, finally gamestop is taking pre orders here in the states. I had to put 25$ down for the system and 5 $ down on any game or anything else that I wanted. I pre ordered the delux edition but may switch it before launch. I really could care less about nintendo land but happy I finally got it pre ordered.

First off.... I have been playing games since super Nintendo. Second... As I have been saying for the past ten posts.... You have to look at today's standards with gaming. Call of duty would not sell nearly as much if it was not for online multiplayer. And sweet... Your right. Zelda is Zelda but.... If nintendo wants to grab ahold of other gamers than just the Nintendo fan boys than they are going to have to step it up.

Yea? What game was that? And I am talking within the past like 5 years. Don't name games from like 15 years ago. And again... Even if the online is done poorly... That would be your opinion. Some people could still like it. I find it funny that people fight this haha. I feel like some people will back Nintendo to the death. In the end... It only makes the game better to add that feature.

And as everyone said.... SOME titles do have online but this day and age... Every game should include some sort of online multiplayer game. No reason why it can't. It's 2012 and Nintendo lacked this before. If you dont want to use it then don't. The option should be there.

Ok cool? Name me a top franchise of Xbox or Sony that does not have online? This is not Mario. This is a zombie killing game. All games like this have online. The point is most people like to play online on games like this. This is a big wii u exclusive. So once I beat the game that's it? I'm done? I just don't see why it couldn't include some sort of online multiplayer.

This is kinda sad.....its things like this that make me feel like Nintendo does not get it. We live in a world where online is king. I am a busy person and my friends are to. We dont have time to get together a lot and just play vids. I play by myself a lot and like to just turn on a game and play a quick online match. Without this feature, this game is going to lack. Lots of games will lack without online.

The problem with Sony is the cross play with vita is going to be WAY to expensive. You got to own a ps3, vita, and the game for the ps3 and vita. Who wants to do that?

I'd trade my Wii...but I modded it and have over 125 games. Gonna hold onto it. The Wii will have a low resell price forever since so many are out there.

Yea my 360 is modded and i have like 100 games but, I am selling it on craigslist. Gamestop is a joke when it comes to trading anything in. Craigslist is WAYYYYY better

I am not saying this beast will sell like the wii did but, I have talked to people at game stop, walmart, target and best buy and they ALL say that Nintendo sends them a VERY limited amount of systems at launch and for the coming months. It might be tough to find one come xmas.

I think we all remember how hard it was to get our hands on a wii when that first came out and I can remember going on ebay and seeing ps3s go for BIG bucks when they first arrived so I was wondering if anyone is planning on buying more than just one Wii U and then selling it on craigslist or ebay? I have been really considering it.
