I put the game on Hard from the start, the AI after the 1st level is much better, couple of times i had to flee and go run for hearts. Didn't even know there was an intense mode (shutters). loving every minute of this game though, glad i made the purchase.

All I am saying is it seems the whole industry is against nintendo at this point. The most simple of games have no chance of even making Wii U.
did it really? like i think it sold decent but did it even hit a million
i don't think every game has to hit a million do do well, but according to Capcom i guess depending how you read it, they were pleased with the results to some degree:
Going by the 3DS market at the time we released the game, it was definitely a success and we're certainly hoping we can repeat that success with the home console version.
Given the large development costs we had on the 3DS version, we would have liked to have even a little more sales than we did in the end. But that doesn't mean we saw it as a failure by any means.

its not official what systems it will be on, however it really can't imagine them passing up on the 3DS when it did very well the 1st time. it should at least release on all systems at the same time.

Imo, they aren't being used like at all...
i use em everyday in hyrule warriors, and time from time in smash. majority of buyers i believe aren't using them at all though.

My favorite uses for Amiibo so far are through Splatoon, Smash, and Code Name STEAM.
With Splatoon's brand of Amiibos, you get whole new missions to mess around in.
With Smash, you get way more powerful AI to battle against.
In Code Name STEAM, you get whole new party members through the Fire Emblem series...even though I only own Ike at the moment, it's still cool.
But like Sorceror said, the main problem comes in NoA's incompetence when it comes to stocking the things. Especially with the Fire Emblem ones...what's the point of having special characters in Code Name STEAM if you can't even buy the things?
Right. I do believe code name steam will suffer in sales because of that. Xenoblade will too. both are games i want, but not in a rush to buy until i get the amiibos i want for them.

#314345 Mario Sunshine DLC in Splatoon?

Adding Mario demeans Splatoon. It's a bold new game from Nintendo that builds on the future and needs to stand on it's own so it's not held back by older IPs esp Mario. It will show Nintendo just does not trust their garage team to do anything by themselves. It shows Nintendo does not trust anything but old IPs. It proves the criticisms of new to old IP's correct in most peoples eyes. Splatoon needs to prove itself by itself. Xenoblade didn't need Mario. nor does this. Esp in development they said they tried Mario and gang and it never felt right to them it never worked well until they created something new. It's also a way to bring in non Nintendo fans.
splatoon, imo, is already successful, and will have good legs going onward, so adding mario say 6 months or year later doesn't say anything bad about splatoon in any way.

Fire Emblem Warriors son. FE universe is 10x that of Zelda so the DLC could go on for a long time and the game would be massive. FEW needs to happen.
Metroid Warriors confirmed
maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn I would buy either one of those games. so many characters for FE, and yes I'd happily buy any DLC for these games.
Perhaps for metroid the prime hunters could make a return.
btw vote spire for smash dlc

Trying to understand when the day came that crossing over nintendo IP's was a bad thing.
Mario sunshine would make a great add-on for splatoon, either as an extended single player event with mario as the boss,
or adding mario as a neutral AI controlled threat in turf war, neutralizing the field with FLUDD

#306699 Should Nintendo Fund a new Megaman?

Would it benefit Nintendo to fund a new Megaman game?
I know there's been alot of talk over the year about Capcom being bought out potentially or selling their IP's, but who knows when or if that'll ever happen.
It's no secret that capcom has been extremely conservative with the megaman franchise, and since the wii-u,nintendo has been pioneering the relevance of the series from nearly having all the games via virtual console to his debute in smash bros.
It's my opinon that there's enough demand to warrant the idea and i see no reason why it wouldn't move a few if not a fair amount of consoles.
Well, should they do this, what megaman game should they do?
original, x, zero, battle network, star force, a return to legends 3?

I just dont think wave race has an audience anymore. Would sell horribly I think... but I could be wrong.
I have to agree as the Extreme Sports well is all but dried up. Late 90's through mid 00's was it's peak and since less and less EX games been released and even when they try to come back don't sell to great.
Good points. What if it was an Eshop title? $20-$30

Got to thinking about how much i loved wave race on 64 and gamecube, and then i thought about how well sega developed Fzero GX on gamecube, and i willing to bet that if they were willing and nintendo allowed it, the next wave race would be magnificent!
I feel like sega has always developed racing games pretty well, so i can only hope. I say wave race because i really doubt they'll ever revisit f-zero (sega that is). If they do, hey WONDERFUL! but...being realistic, i don't see it happening.

while this may be true for now, Mario kart 8 will have a big draw holiday season, coupled with smash bros. we're going to see mk8 sale well through out the year, and eventually it will be new adopters.

1. offer a Hard mode from the start
This was an unlock in black & white 2, but why has it never been a choice in the last 2 games? seriously, it's just way to easy to level up now, much easier to EV train that "grinding", if you will, is unnessarcy. by the time i got to the elite four i had 2 teams of pokemon at level 70
2. eliminate the need of HMs
Know I'm not the 1st to say this, but it really sucks having to keep a linoone in my party just so i can cut, strength, surf etc. It was nice to be able to use a flute to call latias and fly, just gimmie items to do those things....or stop having me cut and move bolders, come up with some new kind of puzzles.
