After taking a break from pokemon since X & Y , last month i got back into Pokemon Sapphire, which i was excited for considering how great it was on GBA, but I've come to realize how sorely disappointed I am at the series at this point and game freak, and mind you i think Pokemon is a pretty decent RPG and i just enjoy battling online. I was very sad to not have enjoyed sapphire, and these 2 points are what did it for me, and MUST be changed in the future of pokemon.

1. offer a Hard mode from the start

This was an unlock in black & white 2, but why has it never been a choice in the last 2 games? seriously, it's just way to easy to level up now, much easier to EV train that "grinding", if you will, is unnessarcy. by the time i got to the elite four i had 2 teams of pokemon at level 70

2. eliminate the need of HMs

Know I'm not the 1st to say this, but it really sucks having to keep a linoone in my party just so i can cut, strength, surf etc. It was nice to be able to use a flute to call latias and fly, just gimmie items to do those things....or stop having me cut and move bolders, come up with some new kind of puzzles.

i can see the difference, looks nice.

so after all the update and waiting, everything transferred except smash bros...so mad right now. was super excited to use the amiibos, and i've lost all that data......crushed
and of course, it wont let me re-download smash bros either, or any of my games for that matter.
tempted to return this and just call it quits on the 3ds...
yes i could call nintendo and maybe they'll get me smash bros back, but all that stuff i unlocked, ready for my amiibos...no way I'm going to put the hours in to get that back.

Hoping this makes its way to NA as well, want a bigger screen to play smash on.

i feel like i SHOULD finally upgrade, but man i really like how my launch 3ds fits in my pocket..

ouch! almost makes u consider to just buy a new system and sync that gamepad with your current one. OR go the way of looking for a used wii-u.

while this may be true for now, Mario kart 8 will have a big draw holiday season, coupled with smash bros. we're going to see mk8 sale well through out the year, and eventually it will be new adopters. 

A great game, to way to long for me to finally finish though, little over 100 hours considering all the restarting i did to keep people alive

Great news for me! I played starfox 64 in this view almost always, and was severely disappointed when the
3DS version didn't offer the view. Sounds like this is shaping up to be a return to classic feel starfox!

Fire Emblem Warriors son. FE universe is 10x that of Zelda so the DLC could go on for a long time and the game would be massive. FEW needs to happen.

maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn I would buy either one of those games. so many characters for FE, and yes I'd happily buy any DLC for these games.

 

Perhaps for metroid the prime hunters could make a return.

I just dont think wave race has an audience anymore. Would sell horribly I think... but I could be wrong.

 

 

 I have to agree as the Extreme Sports well is all but dried up. Late 90's through mid 00's was it's peak and since less and less EX games been released and even when they try to come back don't sell to great.

Got to thinking about how much i loved wave race on 64 and gamecube, and then i thought about how well sega developed Fzero GX on gamecube, and i willing to bet that if they were willing and nintendo allowed it, the next wave race would be magnificent! 

 

I feel like sega has always developed racing games pretty well, so i can only hope. I say wave race because i really doubt they'll ever revisit f-zero (sega that is). If they do, hey WONDERFUL! but...being realistic, i don't see it happening.

I will be using motion controls if they're good, but nice to know.

Nintendo, imo, has been so good with their DLC that its actually making me put games i want to purchase on delay. The Mario Kart DLC was the starter, coming in November which is already full with Pokemon and potentially smash bros for wii-u, but now this Hyrule warriors DLC that's planned for Oct, Nov, Jan and Feb has me thinking Bayonetta, Captain Toad and Sonic Boom will have to wait as well.

 

It's a nice problem to have, but this Gen. both with the 3DS (Fire emblem & Mario Golf) & Wii-u, Nintendos' DLC has been some of the Best I've had interest in without hesitation. KEEP IT UP!

I still believe the next zelda will hit the Wii-u, but would it be a good move for Nintendo to release a "Master quest" edition for NX?

I just can't see them with holding this game for another 2 years (I assume since its not getting announced till next year likely), but if enough reasons are brought to the table, i can see people double dipping or making a nintendo purchase for NX for an "enhanced" zelda, especially if its another zelda classic.

 

Things i would like to see on Animal Crossing for Wii-u 

 

* More furniture interactions such as being able to get into tubs, cook, etc 

* Being able to launch miiverse by interacting with a computer (furniture)

* being able to launch any virtual console game by having the wii-u as a piece of furniture (similar to NES items in gamecube AC)

* Option to have random wi-fi visitors

***** be able to mail letters to your friends list******

 

and as a bonus, bring back the Gamecube Island so i can have a get away home!

Very happy to hear Harvest moon is going back to its roots and also back to console. as long as i don't see anything as terrible as the last one on 3ds, lost valley i think it was, i will certainly support the game.

I think launching it on the same day as OR/AS is kind of a bad idea. I know this could be like last year where they launched 3D World and LBW on the same day. But Pokemon is a sales juggernaut, more so than Mario and Zelda. Launching it on the same day as one of the games that's supposed to improve Wii U sales just seems a bit risky to me.
