Looks like it might be an enhanced port as at around 1:16 of the video you can see him using a spiked bat which implies they've added more melee weapons.

I was a big fan of virtues last reward so I'm really pleased to see this announced. Maybe I should play 999 before this comes out though?

It's hard to tell in the video but hopefully the game still has environments as colourful and varied as this image.

Anyone else think the yarn amiibos look kinda chubby haha? Especially their backsides, they kind of stick out a bit. I don't think it's a big issue but it's something I couldn't help noticing.

I haven't bought this yet but apparently you can actually play using the gamepad as your controller. Is this the first wii game where this is possible?

Hmm, not sure if I should pick this up or not. I only played about 6 hours of wii xenoblade I think and loved it which is why I'm cautious about this 3ds version because for a game of such quality like xenoblade I really want to play the best version.

I'll get the free upgrade at some point but I'm not planning to be a launch user, I'll let everyone else test out windows 10 and then I'll jump in haha,

Oh I remember this game, after it was first revealed I'm pretty sure most people ended up forgetting about it haha. Glad to see they're making progress and using the gamepad in more ways than just map and inventory.
I can only hope it doesn't end up too generic as the name might suggest haha.

I was always excited for smtxfe but seeing actual gameplay footage has just made it go through the roof, admittedly it's more "anime" than I thought it would be but that's really not a problem. The brief glimpses of gameplay look great and I can't wait to see more. This and fatal frame made the direct for me!

Also does anyone else think those last 2 images look very fire emblem-ish? 

The problem with this game is people wanting animal crossing wii u, not a spin off. I don't think the dislikes are deserved but they really should have had a mainline title to go along with this otherwise people were always going to be disappointed.

Might also have something to do with the amiibo part of the game.

I don't really bother with reviews these days, there's been too many situations where I completely disagree with reviewers for games I enjoy or dislike.

Nowadays I generally watch trailers and sometimes gameplay to get a feel for the game and see if it appeals to me, I'll also look online for actual users and players opinions on the game. I find that to be a lot more reliable than most reviewers and review sites.

I haven't played it yet but I think it's possible people are being too harsh on it because of the glitches, it looks incredibly mediocre but as long as the worst of these glitches aren't too easily encountered then I don't think it is as bad as everyone is saying.

I don't think calling it the new sonic 06 is fair as having seen gameplay of that and boom, boom looks like it plays better.

Maybe that explains some of the technical issues?

Huh I was a fan of Battalion Wars 2 but I never even realized it was a spinoff haha. Might be because I haven't played Advance Wars.

Hopefully a 3rd Battalion is in production/planning.

I Tried to join twuf but it said membership was by invite only.

So has anyone gotten good at perfect pivoting here? I don't really have the time to dedicate to getting good at smash but I have messed around with perfect pivoting just out of curiosity and can now do it semi consistently. It is quite fun to properly pull off a perfect pivot backwards and then counter attack haha. Shame I can't do it often

Any tips for pulling it off consistently. 

I'm not sure if I just suck at fighting mario online or if the only mario players I've faced are really but every 1v1 for glory opponent who used mario has kicked my ass. Almost every one of them just up tilts me into about 30-40 percent then up airs me and by then I'm at 50 percent :/ I also struggle to hit them which only makes matters worse.
