^ One of those has malware. One no longer exists and the other 2 don't work. I guess in the year 2015 we have reverted back to the year of 1999 for computers.

You know I love the colorful and quirky games from 1st and 2nd parties. I also like when they get us games like Bayonetta 2 and Devils Third. I am kinda hoping some of those are more on the M rated side to make the system more balanced from colorful to more serious.

OK, so I really like this game, which I didn't think I would. But one thing I don't like is that the challenges unlocked by Amiibos are so much fun! They are such a good part of the game that they shouldn't be locked behind an expensive paywall like that. I think the ability to unlock cool exclusive costumes and things like that is the best use of Amiibos in this game.

I'd say Splatoon is a great unfinished game.

smash had all the features that this game is missing
Yes, like the ability to play as Samus, and getting to use an umbrella to beat up your opponent.

I wonder how much of the money they got came from backers that wanted it for Wii U. Anyway, it's obvious they stopped developing for Wii U for economic reasons.

I tried it. It was what I expected, a really good take on online shooters. I don't like online shooters, so it wasn't for me, but a great game of course. They should have some idea on how to compensate for lack of voice chat though.

Yooka is the male and laylee is the female.
The details are on their kickstarter page I think.
Ha! Yes, it's very important to know that the lizard has a pegasus generator...
Edit: So, that male bodypart is actually censored here, even when using a non-offensive word. That's... interesting.

When I first launched the game, it asked me if I wanted to download the DLC (after the update). Then it turned out that I didn't have enough space, so it quit the install, after the download. So I deleted some stuff and tried again. This time, it didn't tell me anything was wrong until after trying to install, now I got an error message. Went to the data management anf it told me I had "unnecessary files" that could be deleted. The screen got stuck on "deleting, don't turn off the console" for a few hours, then I turned the console off. Went into the data management again, ignored the message about unnecessary files and deleted the MK8 update, along with some more files to make sure the DLC would fit. Started MK8 again, this time it didn't ask me if I wanted to download the DLC. But when I chose one of the new characters, which were no longer possible to use, it took me to the download screen, I got to choose whether to download pack 1, pack 2 or both. Finally, everything worked!
Long story short: Try to delete your downloaded extra content via the data management, then start MK8 and try to choose one of the new characters. It might work!

Yes, I have done this. You need to install Homebrew on your Wii and a program to let you back up your save files. (For the games where you can't just back it up to the SD card normally, that is.)

So they'll start working on the Wii U version once the release of the other versions is done. Nice.

The problem is these ballots represent the people voting in the ballots, not the people playing the game. It's not a representative selection.

It may or may not be a good thing with voice chat in this game. I'm all for the idea to leave it out and force people to cooperate in other ways, if it makes the game better. There are two things I want to say though:
1) The reason given is kind of stupid. As other people already said, if it's just about that - make it optional.
2) There are a lot of arguments in this thread questioning the very idea to have voice chat in the game. It might be better to leave it out, but it's certainly not crazy to want it in there, and it's an issue worth discussing.

If you want that then that's what Sony is for.
Well, Sony can't bring us Splatoon with voice chat.

From the Nintendo Direct, we now know we'll get Pandora's Tower (16 April) and Sin & Punishment (30 April) next as Wii games. And we already have the N64 games DK64 and Super Mario 64 plus the DS games Mario Kart DS and WarioWare Touched available, with a buy-3-get-4 thing until 16 April. Plus we got to know that Paper Mario and Yoshi's Island DS will be coming in May.
Nice.

The real reason he wants us to use a pro controller is because we will be playing for 80 hours straight.
Or maybe they will put really annoying flashing pictures on the gamepad screen... (speaking of which - I can't believe you still can't turn the screen off while using the gamepad!)

As soon as they start to focus on the demographic where the money is, i.e. people who don't like high quality games, they have made themselves irrelevant. I mean, why would I buy a Nintendo system if the games are the same as on Playstation? They should listen less to what people claim they want, and instead make games that they themselves believe are great. But they need games like ZombiU, Bayonetta 2 and Xenoblade X that they can't make themselves, and it would also be nice if there were a lot of more games to choose from. How are they going to accomplish this? We'll see, but even if it will be difficult to win the 3rd parties over, they should at least try to make the threshold to port a game over to the next Nintendo as low as possible, without compromising with their own ideas.
