... I do hope the game will have a "serious" vibe instead of a funny one like WW and SS.
To me, Wind waker is one of the most "serious" Zelda games.

Pikmin for 3DS wouldn't work.

Just because you have the right doesn't mean you should. I have the right to sell coathangers in front of a maternity clinic but I really shouldn't
You shouldn't, but you shouldn't be punished for it either.

Maybe not so surprising, but nice. Smash Bros is now the fastest selling Wii U game so far, selling better than Mario Kart 8:

So the old classic controller for Wii does not work with Super Mario U. I gave up and bought a pro controller tonight, another fifty bucks, i need to be DONE spemding money on this!
That's actually true, sorry about that! I googled it and someone had written somewhere that it works. The classic controller works well with games like Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World. But now you have the pro controller so you won't need it.

I just got my WiiU and a few games, Super mario U, Super Luigi U and Mario cart 5. I don't really want to have to spend fifty bucks on the WiiU controller plus but am not comfortable playing on the game pad. I wanted to get the new WiiU fight pad controller but no one at Gamestop can give me a straight answer as to if it will work with Mario U. Does anyone have them both and. And try it for me?
Thank you!
All right, for New Super Mario Bros U, you can use the Gamepad, the Pro Controller, wiimote or the classic controller (pro or not). The "fight pad controller" is a classic controller pro designed as a Gamecube controller, so it should work with NSMBU. Just make sure you have a wiimote, since the classic controllers need to be plugged into one.
You might also want to consider a regular classic controller (same as the "fight pad", but a more conventional design):

I think you should be able to find one slightly cheaper than that though.

Reviews are streaming in.
...
It's interesting to see the different verdicts on the Smash Tour mode. Destructoid and CVG love it, EGM says it's quite nice, while IGN and Gamexplain didn't like it.

Here's Gamexplain's review:
and here's the "talk about the review" from IGN (who don't want to put up a review until online works):

Wii U > Wii when it comes to everything except sales.
Naa... The Wii also had Gamecube compatibility and a better VC selection.
Edit: All right, you can still access the Wii VC through Wii mode on the Wii U. But the Gamecube statement is still valid.

Hi guys!
the question is...why the Wii U Console Stand aren't available in Europe??
Thanks ;-)
I bought mine with the stand in Europe, and I have seen them being sold separately here as well. Who says they aren't sold here?

Yep, there are a lot of tests made for this (google "best lcd for gaming"). Most modern lcd:s also have a "gaming mode", where most post-processing to make the picture prettier is bypassed to get a significantly shorter response time.

Simple, the status for the Wii U at the moment is very good when it comes to exclusives and bad when it comes to multiplats.

Grim Fandango. Maybe Space Quest II. And No more heroes has a very good story that fits well with the game.

In the Netherlands there is this quiz on a medium sized Nintendo fansite. In the past I already had a fierce discussion over their MK8 review (7.5), based on only 30fps local multiplayer and no extra gimmicks for gamepad.
Now, they have this prize quiz. The question is:
Which Costume is not in Bayonetta(2):
Welk van de volgende Nintendo-kostuums zit niet in Bayonetta (2)?
A) Samus Aran
B Link
C) Princess Peach
D) Luigi
E) Fox McCloud
F) Princess Daisy
G) Mario
I'm sure more anwsers are possible, yet the site states that only 1 answer is true.
Just recently Daisy is announced. Yet I'm sure Mario and Luigi don't have costumes. They are in the game, but not as costumes. Am I wrong?
You can check at www.n1ntendo.nl
Do you think they might have accidentally written "welk" instead of "welke"?
