There are solid games now. Whether you like them or not is a different matter. If there is nothing you like then its your choice to cancel but saying there are no solid games is just ridiculous.
The only game that looks worth it to me at this point is ZombiU.
I'm getting tired of these New Super Mario Bros games, whether anyone agrees or not, they are all the same thing. And not nearly as good as the original ones. That's just my opinion. I'll wait for a new Mario or Zelda game. Or maybe Pokemon/Animal Crossing. Haha. Or for a price reduction.... Who knows, I know it has potential, just to me it isn't worth it right now.

I cancelled my preorder just for this reason. No one here will agree with you, all you are going to hear is "Wow, you sold it, you'll regret it.", but I understand exactly why, just like you the only reason I bought my 3DS is for Animal Crossing, where is it? Oh yeah, 2 years about and still nothing. Wii U at this point is a waste, I'd rather wait to MAYBE get it later once solid games come out.

Prordered it, put $150 down on the Deluxe edition. When they answer the phone their greeting is "Thank you for calling GameStop where you can now pre-order the awesome Wii U!"
And I also learned that it is $25 to pre-order IF you already have a GameStop account, otherwise it is 50. And also, at my GameStop at least, they said that since I pre-ordered first day I'm GUARANTEED a Day 1 Console.

But aren't all per-orders day one guaranteed?
Not if they have too many, then it's first come first serve. I had to wait 2 months even after preordering the Wii.

Well I just hope that I still get one, that sucks if they do give out pre ordered systems. I'm really not prepared to be in a over night line
My Gamestop only gives them to people who preordered at midnight, and keep the preordered systems reserved for 24 hours before selling them to public, and if you tell them you can't make it until the next day or two, they'll put a note on one and hold it for you.

"MLG Pros" will be using the Pro Controller because it is a traditional controller. All the "Pro" gamers play 360 or PS3, not Wii. And the reason is because one, the controller is totally different, and 2, games aren't as strong.
So it makes sense to call it a pro controller.
Just my thought. xD

I am looking for opinions, do you guys think the white Wii U is worth the buy? Is there any real difference besides the memory? I had a deluxe one pre-ordered and backed out a week before it came out because I thought I didn't want it anymore, but now I do again, really bad. I know I'd regret not having one when the new Zelda and Marios come out. I'd rather save as much money as I can though, so is the white one fine, or do you think the black one is better. Put memory aside, I want to buy a TB harddrive anyway.

I paid $35 (I also had two games).
I plan to pay $150 next week, $200 in October, and the rest at launch.
I'm going to pay the last 200 in a paycheck or two, I have enough now, but I HATE not having any money, so I'm waiting.

I have a 3DS, but I haven't played in months, nothing appeals to me... I want Animal Crossing to come out, and Pokemon.. xD

Yes. Pre-ordering as soon as I get a price. Along with ZombiU, MAYBE Pikmin, and Tank Tank Tank if it's out. And whatever else might be announced that looks good. And a couple Pro Controllers.

Obviously pockets would be the tablet, along with the map, etc. More neighbors, option to work at nooks or abels. Or in a new store. Etc.

I was told the same thing by GameStop, even though I pre-ordered, it's still (first come, first serve). In which I hate, like really whats the whole point of calling it a pre-order, just call it a deposit on the product.
However, I probably would also recommend you being there all day, I also have heard of people camping out for 2-3 days...so you could have even more of a uphill battle.
My Gamestop told me that all the first shipment of Wii Us are for preorder only, then after 2 days if no one picks them up, they will sell to public..

It's just never really interested me...i tried Skyward Sword but returned it 3 days later because I didn't like it. Same with Ocarina of Time 3D, and Majoras Mask, and Twilight Princess...

Get my first paycheck this week at $300.
Only about 50 is going for the Wii U.
Then I get money randomly through other ways. xD
A couple years ago I'd blow it all on this. But now I realized that there are more important things to buy, so finally for the first time in my life, not all my money goes towards games. hahaha. Proud of myself. xD
