Ok, IGN seems to have speculation about the same thing. They're guessing that one of the bundles might include an extra game pad and that's why there's a hike in price. Also the release date November 11th is one week earlier than our previous speculated date November 18th. I honestly cannot wait for this system to be released.

$350 (U.S.) sounds about right. I really hope they can hit the $299.99 price mark tho. I know that would make ME feel better.
That Wii U game pad looks somewhat expensive. Not to mention the high tech specs of the console itself. I want to believe that it will be $299.99, Max $349.99

Some people define those mature audiences as the hardcore gamers. Others believe a core gamer is someone who has submerged themselves in the gaming world for many years and have literally watched the companies grow alongside their childhood. So that begs the question, what really is a core gamer? Can it be both?
I personally have no care for any labels. All I know is that I love Nintendo. Always have, always will and I support their product line and software. Call it what you will =]

No they will be fine what there challenge is attracting hardcore gamers.
I agree with you. Nintendo has never had a problem attracting the casual gamers. On the contrary, the core gamers market has been suffering due to lack of 3rd party support. Sure the 3DS is booming with excellent 3rd party support now, but this wasn't always the case with the Wii. The Wii U, having the capabilities that it has, I think has a better chance at grasping the core gamers market and succeeding where it's predecessor failed. It will be interesting how this all plays out but lets look at what we know about the Wii U and its launch titles so far:
Nintendo Land - A very casual gamer friendly variety of games. Nothing that can be taken too seriously.
New Super Mario Bros. U - Another casual gamer staple. Mario is a timeless plumber.
Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition - Bad ass game just got better. This is a great title to attract core gamers.
Ninja Gaiden 3 - Another great slice and dice ninja speedy game made for mature audiences.
There are ofcourse many more titles but this is just a brief example of how launch date software can affect the first impressions of a console. This can usually determine who will be attracted to the new console. The Wii U ofcourse carries it's own great specs that also simply make life easier for the average person. I personally feel this is the big break Nintendo needs to get back their core gamers.

- Super Mario 3D Land - Probably one of my favorites. Its just really good.
- Mario Kart 7 - Probably the funnest game you can get. Graphics are good and you get to play with us online!
- Kid Icarus: Uprising - Really fun game! Alot better than I expected and has online too. (online is really hard =[)
- Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance - Probably one of the longest 3DS games I've ever played. It's just an awesome game.
- Mario Tennis Open - Very fun, i don't own it but I've played it and it captures even players who don't play tennis!
- Sonic Generations - Very reminiscent of the old sonic days. If you like Sonic 1,2.3 & knuckles, you will enjoy this.
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - AMazing revamp to this game. I recommend it if you don't have friends you want to play with.
- Star Fox 64 3D - IS AWESOME!!! but short, and no online, only local multiplayer.
- Super Monkey Ball 3D - never played this, but ill tell you right now its not even worth mentioning.
You missed a couple good titles but I'll do you the solid of listing them for you:
- Resident Evil: Revelations - GREAT replay value and story is really good.I recommend this.
- Metal Gear Solid 3D - If you've never played it on the ps2, you should pick this up.
- Tetris Axis - If you're into puzzle games, this game offers plenty of different gameplay styles. Has online & local multiplayer.
- New Super Mario Bros. 2 - If you've played one NSMB, then you've played em all. This one is coin orientated and looks to be pretty fun when trying to reach the 1 million coin goal.
So there you have it. Of course it depends on your preference of style and game-play, but here you have a nice compiled list with descriptions giving you recommendations. If you like racing, go for Mario Kart 7. If you like fighting, I didn't list it but there's Tekken, Super Street Fighter 4, & Dead or Alive Dimensions. If you're a tactical guy and you like to shoot things and strategize, Metal Gear or Resident Evil might be a good fit for you. If you're into thoss mass attack games like Sin & Punishment, then Kid Icarus is your fit. For everything else....theres Mario =].
Hope this helps you decide for yourself. Others may have their own opinions about whats lame and whats great, but ultimately its how you feel about the game. Think it through, choose wisely.
