Retail version has completely overhauled graphics, an additional level, and remixed music.
Cave Story on the eShop is just Cave Story+ for the PC, ported with a 3D effect.
There is little difference but price and portability.

I agree with and echo Tom. It seems that PS3 still has a great deal of life left in it.
Also, $200 is not bad for the game quality that is coming out on the PS3.

It's not what I thought it would be :/
The controls are a bit weird for me, and there's this certain boss battle that I lose on every single time >_> In short, I wasn't too pleased, but it was a good game while it lasted.
