Draw a pretty boy.
I probably shouldn't do this, but I'm gonna do it either way.
Spoiler
Teehee
That's pro material right there. You should be drawing for comics or something.

Oh, no, those are Steven's drawings. He said he wouldn't post them, so I'm posting them in his place to piss him off.
I can show you some drawings I did three years ago if you're interested, though.
What is it with people who do things well and thinking they suck? Those are really good, especially the detail on the dragon one. I like them a lot. I think any kind of artistic skill is great. I need to start drawing again. I should draw something on Art Academy and post it on the site. Only thing is it always takes me so so long to complete a drawing to the way I like it and believe it's worth showing. You should keep it up, even if it is just for a hobby.

Please draw Daisy sipping wine and smoking a cigar while sitting on a throne with Iwata, Sakurai, Reggie and Miyamoto with balls and chains on their ankles bowing to her while she tells them to release DLC in order to play as her in Smash Wii U.
Yeah my Daisy fantasies are getting a little bit out of control.

I can a bit. I like messing around with Art Academy on Wii U these days. But I never do it super seriously. Maybe one day I'll put something up on the forums.

I should request you to do all my projects from art class and then take credit for your work...
Instead of a Ghost Writer it'll be a Ghost Artist.

Huh, my images disappeared from my previous post for some reason, let me edit that...
SpoilerBack when I was a kid, my mom told me a story. In that story, a king promised the hand of his daughter to whoever managed to shoot an arrow across the lake behind his castle. Many famous archers from different countries traveled to the kingdom in order to attempt the trial, but all of them failed spectacularly. The competition went on for months, and while the archers certainly got closer to the goal, they were still far from reaching it. Eventually, they declared it an impossible task and stopped participating.
Many months after the events, a skinny peasant boy carrying an old beat-up bow appeared arrived to the King's castle, asking if he could still participate. The King had long since given up on the idea that anyone was worthy of her daughter's hand, but since he never specified an end date, he told him the offer was still valid, but he tried to discourage him from participating by telling him many famous archers had already failed at the challenge, and there was no way a weak boy like him could best men who had dedicated their entire life to archery. The boy insisted on participating, however, and so the King lead him to the lake, where he witnessed the boy's arrow speed past the lake before losing sight of it as it traveled much farther away than its intended goal. The King, left speechless, took a few seconds to regain his composure before asking him how he managed to do that. The boy looked at him and told him that, while the other archers were aiming to reach the other end of the lake, he was aiming to reach the moon.
That's basically why I think my old drawings sucked, and why I think my current drawings still suck. I'm still far away from reaching the moon.
And also because I'm a lot better now than I was back then, but that's a lame way of explaining it
I don't disagree that any kind of artistic skill is great, but you have to take into consideration that the moment you think your drawings are 'good enough' is when you stop developing as an artist.
Also, yeah, you should draw something and post it, I'm always eager to see other people's art
PS: I'm sorry for hijacking your thread Horchata, please draw yourself slapping me for doing this.
That's a really nice story. Did your mom make it up herself or did she retell it from something? Anyway just because you haven't reached the best status for art doesn't mean that your art sucks. There is no such thing as best quality for art. The proof is obvious when people call blotches of paint and scribbles art. Not saying those aren't art in some form, but I'm sure it's obvious what I'm getting at with this.

OMG these are insane. I think you got better then when you first came on here. That Captain Toad one looks like it could be actual official concept art from Nintendo. So cool to see new stuff all the time from you.

This is dark... But my curiosity of how this turns out is high.
Yeah I can't wait. I hate Rosalina so much. Daisy is my favorite Nintendo girl.

Pshhhh
All daisy can do is drive cars and play tennis.
Rosalina is Queen of the mother-lovin' universe.
Ugh Rosafiends. Daisy has her own Kingdom too. Plus Daisy is mentally unstable so who knows what she would do to take out Rosalina.

Being mentally unstable doesn't exactly reflect well on her character...
Sure it does.

What we get probably won't even be close to that. We'll likely just get a box with a picture of the system in it's closed state on the front. So boring.WOW, now that is a fantastic looking box! Hope we get something similar here!

I was thinking about that too. I wonder if they are free or if you have to pay for them, I was thinking like 1 dollar price if you have to pay. I want the regular New Nintendo 3DS. And I can't wait to get that Peach and Isabelle faceplate.

I thought the custom UI was interesting too, but how does that work exactly? Does everyone with the new 3DS get the choice of theme or do they get a code with the custom case?
Also, is that little thing above the ABXY buttons the second analog stick...? If so, damn that seems weird.
Also did anyone notice how many times Iwata said New Nintendo 3DS in the direct? You can play a damn drinking game with how many times he said it's name.

In the video I saw it showed both half screens side by side and the new one looked much clearer and better. It was japanese so I assume it was showing better resolution. When did they say it'll have a better resolution?
If you skip to 5:10 you see the side by side.

I really hope the Sunshine thing is true. I been wanting a remake or sequel for that game for a long time now. I don't know how the water squirting would work though without pressure sensitive shoulder buttons. Maybe L/R would be strong squirt and ZL/ZR would be small squirt. If anyone complains about no ac adapter... you should have been complaining back in 2012 with the 3ds XL. Japan's system didn't include adapter, North America did. Looks like this could be same scenario for the new 3ds and new 3ds xl.
Games exclusive for platform?
Super Mario Sunshine - new 3ds exclusive
Xenoblade 3d
Twilight Princess
Codename Steam (enhanced)

I have an XL and have regretted it for a long time. I got it when it first came out and all I wanted to do since was get myself another regular 3DS. The screen to me isn't as good and I don't like how heavy it feels. Gamepad is heavier but it doesn't bother me since your hands are far apart. When these come out I am for sure getting the small one. It looks so much better than the XL also.This. Also, if you already have an XL, there's no going back.

It's quite literally the impossible task keeping every, especially Nintendo fans, happy. Nintendo could offer to upgrade people for free, and they would still moan and complain "I like the one i already have" or "My closest location is so faaaar". Nintendo is too good to us, and so we moan every time they do something that isn't 100% perfect.
I feel like I'm the only one super hyped about this. Those colored SNES style buttons immediately sold me. Then all the features and especially the faceplates made me even more excited. I just really hope it comes out this year in NA. It would suck if it came out after the holiday season because a lot of people would get the current ones and then feel gyped when it comes out.
My brother calls it the Super Nintendo Gamecube 3DS since they took ideas from the two.

If I was in charge I would make Super Metroid HD and Super Mario Sunshine 2 as launch titles for the Super Nintendo 2 HD. All games will run at 120 FPS with 4K resolution.
