I think you misunderstand what the Nintendo Directs are about. They are about announcing new information and have nothing to do with actuall updates happening at the same time. TVii has already been announced and just delayed. They already said its coming sometime in December.
No im not misunderstanding ive seen every nintendo directed i get notifications on my 3ds. They can very well announce that they are going live with the app in the broadcast im fully aware of whats going on with nintendo

When did I say the gimmick was stopping it from selling?
I said the console is a gimmick because all it has is "POWER". You agreed didn't you?
Has No Games.
You know what the PSV really needs?
A 15 year lifecycle.
It'll be cheap enough by year 5 to sell crazy, and then developers can learn how to use the gimmick.
No your implying the "power" is a gimmick...Which doesnt make sense. If sony had a gimmick for the vita it be "a portable PS3"
I agree there isnt enough EXCLUSIVE content for the Vita. If the vita doesnt sell well next year why would developer make games for a console with a small user base no matter how cheap it is? doesnt make much business sense. However the features of the Vita surpassed the 3ds in so many way but the content isnt there PERIOD.

Bundles rarely make a dent.
Lower price as standard would shift a lot more units.
But they can't afford that because of how expensive the "POWER" is.
Ive been keeping an eye on sales of the vita on a weekly basis and bundles how drastically helped move units in japan last month in the 1 week it sold 50k alone because of a bundle package. this whole "power" gimmick you refer to has no substance at all because thats not what is keeping it from selling.

the controllers feel..for example the joy sticks on the ps3's controller are loose, and the xbox's are inbetween, are the controllers awesome like the xbox's or tiny like the ps3's
I see well i can only speak in regards to the gamepad they feel good not loose pretty solid. in regards to the pro controller i havent tried it since e3 last year from what i remember it felt more like an xbox controller
I didnt get a pro controller yet i dont really have games i would use for it yet
