You guys, I just noticed something. What if you keep dying repeatedly on ZombiU... do the players eventually cycle around? Like if you played as Bob Hipposplasher on day 1, and died 40 times, do you eventually get to play as Bob again?
As far as I know, ZombiU doesn't have unlimited characters, unless the game characters and their names are randomized.
Just a guess, but isn't the point that Bob has turned into a zombie? Don't see how you'd get to play as him again since he's already turned.

The fact the Wii U can only have two controllers mean adding an ARM CPU in the gameplay could help with getting two more GamePad's.
Adding a CPU into the GamePad is not going to help render additional images... that's a problem with the Wii U itself, not the GamePad. You see, the Wii U plays the games and it processes all the information and sends a rendered picture stream to the GamePad for DISPLAY ONLY. What you're wanting them to do, is have the Wii U send raw data and information to the GamePad and let the GamePad process and render the image. Trust me, that isn't going to work out as well as you're thinking it will. And as for the battery life, adding a larger battery would be negated by adding a processor which is tasked with doing the aforementioned.

Sorry but with all my years knowing Nintendo, this is not going to happen. Larger batteries/extended batteries have already been announced by at least one 3rd party manufacturer.A GamePad+ will be available in two years, it will have a larger battery, an HD screen, and an ARM processor to help the Wii U stream HD video. And i woukd buy one.
No HD screen because it's cost prohibitive on a console that is retailing at $200. Not only would the screen have a higher resolution and thus cost more to produce, but you get into unknown realm of potential app fragmentation - think Android OS. My Nexus 7 tablet can't run all the apps/games because the resolution isn't supported. So let's say CoD BO2, the way they did their menu system or whatever for the GamePad, let's say they made it to be the price resolution of the Gamepad because there was no reason to make it a higher resolution. If a Gamepad+ comes out with higher resolution, it's going to either have to downscale anyway OR stretch the image - one is pointless the other sucks. Nintendo also mentioned there's not any processing going on in the Wii U Gamepad itself.. sorry but they did this on purpose and it's because they want the Gamepad to be attached to the Wii U, they didn't intend for it to have its own processing capabilities or for it to be a standalone device. So these just aren't going to happen. Sorry.

My wii u headset is frik'n wireless so thats not a problem for me
That's honestly what I was thinking, it's 2012 - why is a "missing headphone jack" even being considered a problem? I've been using a wireless ear piece for like 5 years.
PDP already stated their wireless headset works on the Wii U. Forget plugging in guys.. just go wireless and forget about it.
PDP's Afterglow universal wireless headset:

Do you mean virtual console?
Yes, Iwata and Reggie confirmed they'd come eventually, and they were aiming for of-tv play to be a central feature for their emulators.
Source please? If they make VC games playable on the GamePad alone, that will be amazing. Actually, sounds too good to be true - Nintendo doesn't seem to be making great decisions lately so if this happens I'd be shocked.

Edit: But I haven't purchased from them before so I can't judge them. This is from their site:
http://support.decalgirl.com/customer/portal/articles/529937DecalGirl skins are made of premium automotive-grade cast vinyl with a special adhesive backing to prevent air bubbles during installation and leave no residue when removed. Our skins are strong but super thin, measuring about 5 mil total - or five thousandths (0.005) of an inch - that's thin! It also means they'll work with just about any kind of dock, charger or case on the market.
I do wish the best of luck to anyone who pays $20 for this, but I still wouldn't recommend it unless you have money to burn and don't mind ending up putting the decal in the trash if the aforementioned issues arise.

Im hoping that the reason behind this is that the exclusive launch titles just got too focused with the new hardware and brainlessly made their games gamepad specific. I believe NSMBU was a rush job to get a Mario game out at launch, its basically an HD mod from SMB wii. Its the only reason I can see for it not supporting the new controller.
They're too lazy to map buttons for a new controller in their flagship title for their new flagship console... what kind of opinion should that give people? I should have waited to get a Wii U, I was under the impression since it was a Nintendo console it was going to be well thought out.

I no longer have a Wii. I wonder if I could use a gamesave hack. I don't want to have to unlock all the characters again.
So you're just inserting the Wii disc and the SD card you kept from your Wii, and expecting it to work? I honestly don't know if it's going to work or not, I was under the impression you had to do the data migration from the Wii to the Wii U.

Question for you. I tried to play a Wii game on the Wii U, and it didn't read my save data for that game. When I popped it in the pc I saw the files were there. Also, I had purchased two games Mario 64 and Super Mario. I was able to see them from the SD section of the Wii menu, but I couldn't load them to play. What can I do to get this to work?
You performed the proper migration from your Wii to your Wii U ? If so, I don't know - ask Nintendo.

If these are the specs then What's with all these reports that it only supports dx10?
There's been no official confirmation that it doesn't support DX11, nor affirmation that it does. At this point, since DX11 was released in late 2009, I'm inclined to believe it does.

I need a reason to play the Wii U over the 360/720 (I hate the PS3 controller and psn so I traded in my PS3 towards the Wii U), graphics being better is great and all but we NEED less shovelware, every AAA game (and a high percentage of "good" games) to use the GamePad, a gamertag-esque system, and some GOOD exclusives.

If you're speaking specifically in terms of next generation computing power, then perhaps not, but this is a VIDEO GAME CONSOLE, not a COMPUTER. I don't care how fast it is, so long as I don't notice any lag in my games. Gameplay is the most important factor for me when it comes to a GAME CONSOLE. If they can manage to make the Wii U play the same games as the next xbox / playstation, I don't give a crap if it the cpu is technically slower - so long as it plays the games without me actually noticing a "detrimental to gameplay" difference.

“I think that what frustrates me about the way the story's been spun out is that there's been no opportunity to say, 'Well, yes, on that one individual piece maybe it's not as... maybe his opinion is that it's not as easy for the way that the 4A engine's been built as is the others.
“What it doesn't go on to look at is to say that, you know, we could probably get around that. We could probably get Metro to run on an iPad if we wanted, or on pretty much anything. Just as in the same way that between PC and current console versions there are some compromises that need to be made in certain places and we strive to get the very best performance that we can from any platform we release on.
“But I understand that there's a real appetite in the media at the moment because the Wii U is a hot topic to spam some stories that are going to attract a lot of links if they present it in a certain way.”
http://www.eurogamer...concern-remains
I like what Ubisoft said, which goes to show when an engine is built correctly and optimized, the Wii U is more powerful than the 360 and PS3...
http://www.pc-tablet.com/9098-nintendo-wii-release-date-surprisingly-powerful-ubisoft/
According to Rayman creator Michel Ancel “What surprises me with Wii U is that we don’t have many technical problems. It’s really running very well, in fact. We’re not obliged to constantly optimize things. Even on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, we had some fill-rate issues and things like that. So it’s partly us – we improved the engine – but I think the console is quite powerful. Surprisingly powerful.”
Ancel further elaborates that Wii U can handle large textures without any problem. Michel Ancel admitted that during the development of Rayman Legends, the team did not compress certain HD texture files before testing them in actual gaming condition, and it didn’t bog down the console.

If you can't afford the Wii U at $300 or $350, you might go into GameStop and buy a used PS3/360 for ~$150.
Or you could go to any store, even Walmart, to buy a brand new Wii for $120. Wii games are also generally cheaper than PS3/360 games.
"We will continue to sell the Wii," Fils-Aime said. "As we sit here today, in the US the Wii has sold about 40 million units. We believe that there continues to be an opportunity with Wii. Yes, these are late, late adopters. And yes, price points are important. But we do believe there's still opportunity for the Wii, and we will continue to sell Wii side-by-side for some period of time." - Reggie Fils-Aime

Look. I have a lot of fans because of my PS3 Trophy Hunting. It's what I do best and people liked that but of course there has to be haters. I ignore them mostly because no matter how good you are, haters or tolls will come. A wise man once told me 'You'd be a fool if you think you can please everyone'
Keep doing reviews and ignore the trolls or ban them if you can.
Ban people for disagreeing with a review? Way to make it very one-sided, believe it or not sometimes people have valid arguments against an "honest" review, and sometimes honest reviews are biased. Of course you could argue all reviews are biased because they're all opinion pieces.. but to ban someone for having a different opinion than you is a bit extreme.
