i am 32 seen a few launches always good fun if you have to queue ultra earlier than the pre order peeps then jacket flask and entertainment are your worries.Always a decent element never come accross shady types at launches

Have more than one console but getting wii u version for the non split screen two player multiplayer?! As for the importance of the likes of black ops 2 getting to the wii?Immense the reason the wii is still locked into my attic from not long after I bought it is that all the big fps either didnt come or were watered down.Nintendo better not be leading the fps lovers up the garden path again

I just posted about this in another thread about this game before I saw this.Went to my local game shop and spoke to the manager who I know a long time.Was asking him bout the wii u and he said they had just come back from the companies wii u demo/training.He said a lot of stuff I already know then I mentioned Aliens and that it was a shame that it was going to be feb next year.He said "we had q n a with nintendo uk at training and they were adamant that Aliens would launch in 2012 on wii u".

He is going to be sorry if he told me wrong info lol wont ever let him forget it!!!!
(has been right about stuff in the past mostly release dates,pricing and the like)

Dont know about unannounced but I believe aliens will make it to the wii u sooner than other platfroms.Was speaking to a local game shop manager I know well.He said they had been to a demo/training of the wii u and had q and a with the nintendo uk bods.They were adamant aliens would release in 2012 on wii u.When you also see that there is no official date given for wii u version (even though there is for ps3 and xbox) it starts to sound semi realistic.As well as that all the pr love gearbox was throwing to the wii u as well?

I used to really like the early re games but got tired of it when everything started mutating like carp and straight zombies were just gone.this is why im hyped for zombie u its survival horror not some arcadey fps em up.

Just read on IGN that Wii u will be region locked according to a translation of the famitsu twittter feed.

How does that grab you guys?Being in the uk it wont hasnt really affected me before.Bit of a bummer for some of the no doubt to come japan only releases though.

Cannot believe the wild speculation/agitation about this until someone actually tells us what the capabilities (not believes or wants) then its all hearsay.I can say that having studied fairly closely footage of assassins creed 3 on all platforms same levels that it looks like (to me) that the wii u maybe has better effects in the graphics.I mean the lighting textures naybe even shadows.But thats just to my untrained eye the speculation will drive the rest of you mad!

To be honest I couldnt agree, I will be getting zombiu,blops and assassins creed 3.I think it is very smart of nintendo to market the 3rd party titles first at launch and hold back some of the more unique nintendo ip for next year.Im in my 30s now had all consoles since the mega drive and cant remember seeing a launch line up as strong.Also got a wii and was underwhelmed by the third party support and lack of fpses and franchises.I see nintendo addressing that this time

Here in uk/Ireland I waited all night to get an oh so rare wii.The shop opened in the morning at 8 to tell us that they only had four consoles not accounted for.That left at least 60 people looking rather grim but I was 2nd and got mine.Then refused an offer of 700 euro for it as I left the store.The wii was ok but just not for me.I regretted not taking the money to be honest.I had a waterproof jacket and a flask of tea which was a lifesaver that night.Hoping for a good midnight launch in belfast.Last time was in the republic of Ireland and we had a great laugh before they let us know there was only four wiis

Dunno how many of you guys are europe based here (seems less than half anyway) but the only way I could find value in the uk was to get the zombiu pack.Sort of takes the edge off it by including the game and pro controller

Hi to all I am new here just preordered a wii u (zombiu) bundle along with cod and ac3.Really stoked for the wii u giving the big N a 2nd chance as I queued all night in the rain for a wii and then refused 700 euro for it leaving the shop.Not that there was anything in particular wrong with the wii I just felt it excluded almost exclusively the type of games (fps mostly) that I played and wasnt seeing much third party love.I owned other consoles since then and came to regret my soaking and refusal of 700 euros for the wii.
However this time I feel nintendo wont alienate the gamers in my age group.I am not too bothered whether the graphics are the same or better than my other consoles.I just need the change and like the look of the gamepad functionality a lot more than I liked the wiimote.I also like a lot of nintendos own games which is a bonus along with being able to play the multi platform releases.

Glad to be hear hope not to boar too many people!!
