I just got the regular one from EBGames Australia. I didn't think much of the statue, a Link statue would have sold me though. Or a Tingle.

I can't play Mario all stars because they updated the sound and graphics for the SNES, so I'm a bit of a purist.
But even I think Wind Waker LIVES on the Wii U in HD.
If it came out as a new game today I wouldn't bat an eyelid, the MiiVerse integration and the camera feel like they wre built for the Gamepad.
It feels right and natural and at home on Wii U.

EB Games [The Australian arm of Gamestop] is the same way.
I got screwed on the price when i=I picked up my launch day Wii U at midnight.
I had pre-ordered the Premium and he was trying to give me a basic, and he had told me that if I ordered games and a controller with the console he would lower the price.
Never happened and I had to borrow money from a friend to cover it, as I had the exact cash amount he quoted me.
I looked like an idiot being first in line.

please tell me where u heard about this, and for goodness sake, why doesn't Nintendo's website notify us about this kind of stuff? i would have gone an extra mile for that Gannon statue for real. Mario/Luigi remotes to play the new new new SMB for wii u= i'd be pumped!

I loved Wii Fit! I used to get up in the morning every day and do the yoga exercises, and I hate both getting up and exercising. I did it because it was fun to try to get better scores than my family. I am really looking forward to Wii Fit U as well because I have been feeling somewhat sedentary lately.

When I use the shoulder buttons to quickly scroll through the menus, i.e. from page 1 to page 6, it goes faster now.

The first one is an easter egg, and the second one is in the code of the game, but you have to hack the code to see it.

I played it at JB Hi-Fi in Australia yesterday. Just a demo though, a few courses and no battle mode.

But it was still in the game, meaning it was planned to be put into the game at one point so it still counts

However, the chain chomp absolutely is integral to links awakening, you literally cannot progress through the game without its gameplay mechanics.

And past that, piranha plants, goombas, and even kirby were cameo enemies in links awakening.

And finally, metroids are also enemies in the kid icarus series.

Chain Chomp and Metroids in Kid Icarus are the first actual examples of Integral game content you have cited. Which is exactly what I was arguing all along. Therefore I concede the point.
