Shattered glass, a handful of burned out businesses and the presence of dozens of riot police were the clues pointing to the destruction left behind by a mob of pro-Palestinian protesters who turned on the Jewish community in the northern Parisian suburb of Sarcelles on Sunday. What began as a protest against Israel’s bombing and ground offensive in Gaza quickly turned into a rampage with the so-called "Little Jerusalem" neighborhood in working class Sarcelles the number one target for rioters. The town is one of the centres of France’s Jewish population, which at some 500,000 is the third largest in the world behind Israel and the United States. As well as cars and bins being set ablaze several Jewish business were torched, including the Naouri kosher market which was the target of a flash-bang grenade attack in 2012, rioters also tried to approach a synagogue, before being repelled by riot police. There were also unconfirmed reports of a petrol bomb being thrown against the building. As they rampaged through Sarcelles rioters cries of "Israel murderers!" and "Hitler for president!" could be heard. "For the French government Sunday's violence was pure anti-Semitism. Attacking a synagogue, a kosher supermarket, it's simply anti-Semitism, racism," said PM Manuel Valls. The riot was the third time in eight days a pro-Palestinian demo has degenerated into violence. The first demo on July 13th saw protesters attempt to storm two synagogues in Paris, before being beaten back, by riot police and Jewish militants. “We’ve been thinking about moving to Israel for some time now,” Daniel Ullmann, 58, a teacher told The Local. “There is a part of France that is very xenophobic. There’s a part of the population that has no liking for foreigners.” As he spoke to The Local a passerby shouted at him: “Go back to Israel!”, which drew only a sad shrug and knowing grimace from Ullmann. "We don't know if they are coming back. The troublemakers sleep during the day, We'll find out tonight." Some observers in Sarcelles told The Local the anti-Semitic violence in France is being fanned by the country’s dire economic situation - with unemployment rates among young people hovering at 25 percent - as well as by Islamists. “It’s young people, who’ve got no work and aren’t in school, they are the ones being manipulated into this kind of violence,” said journalist André Nahum a long-time member of the Sarcelles Jewish community. “It’s Islamists who are at the source of these problems, not just here, but around the world.” He said leaving Sarcelles for Israel or elsewhere isn’t a solution because the problem is global. “You stay, you fight,” Nahum said. “Otherwise you are just handing the country over to them.” The anger the deaths in Gaza has provoked among the Muslim population in Paris’s suburbs cannot be overestimated, but in Sarcelles a Muslim man who would give only his name as Jamel said Sunday's attacks were wrong and were not perpetrated by local Muslims, who he says get along with the Jewish community. It’s scary. We live in a civilized country,” he said while standing outside the remains of a pharmacy that was torched in the riots. “But it’s wrong, it’s wrong for kids to be killed by Israel. What are they going to do against the Israeli army? Throw rocks at them?” In May The Local reported that figures revealed 2014 could see a record number of Jews in France leaving for Israel. Gaza City (CNN) -- Thirteen Israeli troops were killed overnight in Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces said Sunday.
The IDF did not immediately give details.
Hamas said it lured Israeli tanks into a Gaza field in which it had hidden improvised explosive devices, and "destroyed the force completely."
In a statement, Hamas claimed "responsibility for this heroic operation on the doorsteps of Gaza."
It was Israel's biggest death toll in the current fighting, bringing the total killed to 18 soldiers and two civilians.
Among Palestinians, the death toll has soared past 400.
Hundreds fled in panic into Gaza City on Sunday as Israeli troops focused their firepower on the nearby town of Shaja'ia. The shelling and bombing killed at least 60 people and wounded 300, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
Bodies lay in streets beside gashes blasted into apartment buildings, said people who had escaped the violence.
Overnight, Hamas fired rockets from Shaja'ia toward Israel. The militant group also turned down an invitation by Egypt to talk about a cease-fire initiative that Cairo had proposed.
For three days, the IDF had warned residents of Shaja'ia to flee, Israel said. Such warnings are delivered through calls and text messages as well as fliers that said "it is the intention of the IDF to carry out aerial strikes against terror sites and operatives" in the area. The fliers told people to head to Gaza City by Wednesday morning and not to return until further notice. The IDF posted an English translation of the fliers Sunday on Twitter.

Just got done playing the multiplayer mdoe annd it's fantastic It has a halo 2-esque feel to it and it's addicting.
Here's wot i think
As someone who was in the alpha, I feel like the beta is nothing more than a few fixes and some extra missions, now also being a beta, it's obviously going to be nothing like the full version, it bums me out that it's going to turn off alot of people because of this.
Now, I feel like the AI and Difficulty should be worked on some more. Even though stabbing multiple hive's in the face with one hit kills as tons of them came in from dropships, but it just didn't feel like enough challenge, and the enemies just wanted to run right into my face.
I still love the random multiplayer connections though, the dancing never ends.
The graphics are still stunning. I loved the cutscenes and the music. It feels like watching a movie, speaking of the cutscenes though:
I feel like the game is way too fast paced. They throw you into the game expecting you to know all the characters and exactly what happened, hopefully things will be explained more in the full version.
I do really like the gameplay, though. It's very fast paced and feels like being an action hero. The amount of skills are really nice too, the customization should be fun.
I'm still excited, just keeping in mind how it's just a beta.
I actually think the game's speed pacing if pretty good. You are going on up against so much rainbow, so it's fitting that the games pacing should be quick.
People need to Wii off with these vehicles on that moon map.
Why? Vechicles aren't that hard too kill.

Is it downloadable for free on PS4/Xbone or do I need to give them monies and crap for the code?
Looking at gameplay and peoples impressions, I have to say Destiny could end up just like Titanfail - way overhyped by the game media.
What you end up with is a mix previous games mechanics and nothing new by the sound of it.
It's actually deserving of the hype. I've been playing since three and can't put it down .

Nine-year-old Saneie Masilela has become the world's youngest groom for the second time after remarrying the 62-year-old woman he tied the knot with last year.
Dressed in a silvery tuxedo, baby-faced Saneie clutched the hand of mother-of-five Helen Shabangu - her children are aged between 28- and 38-years-old - as they repeated their vows a year on in front of 100 guests.
The schoolboy says he did it to make the marriage 'official' but other villagers in Ximhungwe in Mpumalanga, South Africa describe it as "sickening".
The ceremony - where guests shared a piece of cake - took place in front of Helen's long-term husband Alfred Shabangu, 66, who was there last year as well.
Meet Somali man aged 112 who married 17-year-old and 6 other giant age gaps
He said: "My kids and I are happy because we don't have a problem with her marrying the boy - and I don’t care what other people say.”
Both families claim the wedding is simply another 'ritual' after Saneie was told by his dead ancestors to wed last year and his parents forked out £500 for the bride and another £1,000 for the ceremony.
But the schoolboy - the youngest of five children – wanted to follow South African tradition and insisted they have the second ceremony this week to make their marriage official.

A New York resident died Thursday after police officers put the man, who was asthmatic, in a chokehold before apparently slamming his head on the ground.
The New York Daily News obtained exclusive video of the incident, which shows Staten Island man Eric Garner, 43, begging officers to let him breathe as he lies on the ground helpless.
Now, his family is demanding accountability from the NYPD.
Police said Garner, who was a married father of six children, died of a heart attack during the arrest, according to The Associated Press. The NYPD said Garner had been seen selling untaxed cigarettes, and that he had been arrested before for the same offense.
In the video, Garner denied the allegations and asked a plainclothes officer why he was stopped.
“Every time you see me you want to mess with me," Garner told cops in the video. "I’m tired of it. It stops today!”
When Garner refused to put his hands behind his back, and asked one officer not to touch him, two others moved in to make the arrest.
Video shows at least one officer putting Garner in a chokehold and slamming him on the ground.
Garner can be heard screaming "I can't breathe, I can't breathe!" before going quiet.
Multiple witnesses to the death expressed anger at the NYPD.
“They jumped him and they were choking him. He was foaming at the mouth,” 22-year-old Ramsey Orta, who took the video, told The Daily News. “And that’s it, he was done. The cops were saying, ‘No, he’s OK, he’s OK.' He wasn’t OK.”
Another witness said Garner was "absolutely not selling cigarettes," Staten Island Live reported.
Those who knew Garner described him as a "gentle giant" and "a big teddy bear," according to the publication. His family members, including his wife Esaw Garner, said her husband suffered from chronic asthma.
Police told The AP that an investigation into his death is ongoing. The NYPD said Garner "took a fighting stance" and "absolutely resisted arrest."
In 1993, then-Commisioner Ray Kelly banned the use of chokeholds by officers, the New York Times reported.
More from a 2004 NYPD Patrol Guide:At a memorial for Garner Thursday night, family members, friends, and supporters asked for justice."Members of the New York City Police Department will NOT use chokeholds. A chokehold shall include, but is not limited to, any pressure to the throat or windpipe, which may prevent or hinder breathing or reduce intake of air."
"Is this cop still going to be on the force?" one woman asked SI Live. "Is this cop still going to be able to do this to somebody else?"
Community residents are attempting to organize a march on Friday.
UPDATE: Mayor Bill De Blasio has released a statement regarding the death of Garner.
"On behalf of all New Yorkers, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Garner, who died yesterday afternoon while being placed in police custody. We have a responsibility to keep every New Yorker safe, and that includes when individuals are in custody of the NYPD. That is a responsibility that Police Commissioner Bratton and I take very seriously. We are harnessing all resources available to the City to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the circumstances of this tragic incident. The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau is working closely with the Office of the Richmond County District Attorney, which is leading this investigation."

Over the past month, we’ve seen a strong spike in interest in our Xbox One console options, including the new $399 offering, and the amazing lineup of games announced during E3. Since the new Xbox One offering launched on June 9th, we’ve seen sales of Xbox One more than double* in the US, compared to sales in May, and solid growth in Xbox 360 sales.
We’re excited to welcome so many fans to Xbox this summer and we can’t wait for them to get their hands on the wide selection of new games available this year on Xbox One, including Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, and Ori and the Blind Forest. Xbox One is the only place you can play these games along with creative independent titles and blockbusters such as Assassin’s Creed Unity, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny, Evolve, Grand Theft Auto V, and dozens more. We’re honored that Xbox One was awarded with the best games line-up of 2014 by game critics at E3 and our fans have a lot of amazing new games to look forward to in the coming months.
Starting in August with the release of Madden NFL 15, new blockbuster hits will launch for Xbox One at an incredible pace throughout the fall, as we head into the holiday season. Gamers love the holidays and we are lining up incredible deals and special promotions to celebrate. The fun is just getting started and we can’t wait to share more exciting news soon.

I'm glad. Despite what Nollog and Ryduo say, the Xbox One is actually a great console. It may not have any games now, but the Wii U/PS4 are the same position as well. Things will look better once Sunset Overdrive and The Master Chief Collection comes out in the fall.

Arkansas Senate candidate Rep. Tom Cotton ®, who is challenging Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), defended his vote against an agriculture and nutrition assistance bill by characterizing food stamp recipients as addicts.
Cotton made his comments about food stamps during a July 8 tele-town hall, in audio sent to The Huffington Post.
"I don’t think that we should be using farmers as a way to pack more welfare spending into Barack Obama’s government," Cotton said. "Nor should we have a food stamp program that isn’t reformed, that doesn’t have job training and work requirements, that doesn't have drug testing requirements, so we can get people who are addicted the help they need. Or make sure that long-term addicts or recidivists are not abusing taxpayer dollars."
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, more colloquially referred to as the food stamp program, serves 1 in 7 Americans, or 46 million. Congress cut food stamp spending by about 1 percent in a bipartisan compromise in order to pass the agriculture legislation. Republicans wanted to cut a larger chunk.
A hallmark of Republican opposition to food stamps and welfare has been the suspicion that some beneficiaries are addicted to drugs at radically higher rates than the rest of the population. In 2013, conservative House Republicans unsuccessfully tried to take food stamps out of the farm bill. They also attempted to empower states be able to screen food stamp applicants for evidence of drug abuse. Lawmakers stripped the tests from the final version of the measure.
Cotton was the only member of Arkansas' all-GOP House delegation to vote against the agricultural spending bill. He has variously justified his vote as one motivated by a desire for larger cuts, a belief that the program "has resulted in long-term dependency" and an impression that "millionaires can get food stamps."
He has also claimed the food stamp program is "riddled with fraud and abuse," though the benefits are estimated to have a fraud rate of just 1 percent.
Cotton's campaign did not respond to a request for comment about his remarks.
A U.S. Department of Agriculture report found that Arkansas ranked first among states in the number of residents who suffer from “very low food security."
HuffPost Pollster, which combines all publicly available polling data, has Pryor leading Cotton by roughly four percentage points.

Wow. How does someone this stupid get in such a high position of power. Next he'll say that unemployed people are addicts to unemployment.
