They should of used something similar to what the PS4 uses. Nintendo has gone with cheap economic friendly plastic this gen.

Mario Kart 8, meanwhile, turned up comfortably in second place. Nintendo's racer earned the company its biggest Wii U game launch in the UK to date, and the second best launch for a Mario Kart title ever in the UK.

Whats your opinion? i guess the days of optimization is over.
direct quote: “We're pushing the limits on PS4 and XB1,” he wrote on a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything. “Wii U isn't on the radar at this point in time.”

The sequel for NES Remix, the popular series that strips classic Nintendo games into bit-sized challenges, is out this week on Nintendo's Wii U eShop. Since Virtual Console games are a main tie-in for NES Remix, and most games of these vintage games are available on both Wii U and 3DS, IGN asked series director Koichi Hayashida why Nintendo chose to develop the series for its home console only.
“One of the easiest ways to answer that is to say, 'I was working on 3D World, which was developed on Wii U. So I was already familiar with the system's architecture and developing for that platform lent itself to the early stages of the project,” Hayashida told IGN. “But, if you step into the shadows a bit more, in order to accomplish what we wanted with NES Remix, and get the effect we wanted out of it and the value that we wanted it to have, we needed some more machine power.”
“I think the Wii U offered that up for us pretty easily, and it just would have been more difficult to do it for the 3DS. I think that's really the answer,” Hayashida explained. “It's just that the Wii U had the machine power we were looking for in order for us to build the software we envisioned from the get go.’

People were excited when he first was elected. Sure he's barely done much but at least he's done more than Bush did, which was absolutely nothing and got every country to hate us. He's decent from what we had to endure for eight years of Bush and the last two years of Clinton's Presidency.

A "crash" of a website is pretty much 100% automatable.
A reboot which any decent server host should offer, fixes everything.
I don't see feld0 fiddling with forum code and being too dumb to undo what he last did.
He's messing with us.

We know of Zelda and Smash. Probably get X, Yarn Yoshi, and Bayonetta 2 trailers too. What could Nintendo do though to will back the hardcore audience? The dudebro games? A Conduit 3 working with Sega? Metroid Prime 4? Project H.A.M.M.E.R remastered? Goldeneye or Perfect Dark HD remakes?

I happen to like the Wii Sports series. But I said they shouldn't abandon their current fans, just make a system capable of meeting other fans' demands. If the goal is gaining third party support.
Fans have been asking for Metroid Prime 4 with online for years.
Nintendo is out-of touch. They can recapture their audience with the Wii U. There decision to not incorporate online into their games is utterly stupid.

The question was how Nintendo can gain more support. I suggested that part of the solution is increasing the install base. A large part of the gaming market is dude bros. Making a system that is capable of appealing to dude bros doesn't mean they have to abandon their current fans. They don't have to make dude bro games. They just have to make a system with competitive graphics and online capabilities. It's the only way to truly gain more third party support with the market's current demands.
Indeed
No more of this Wii sports crap.
