Nintendo shut down Swapnote services last week because they were made aware of lewd pictures being exchanged with minors. But now the details have been revealed and its really bad. Men have been arrested and charged with statutory rape and child pornography. 

GoNintendo has provided a bullet point list:

- two men have been arrested
- they were alledgedly performing “improper acts” in hotel rooms with a 12 year-old girl
- this happened multiple times
- the men are aged 49 and 36
- this was facilitated through the 3DS
- child pornography charges have also been filed against another man, 44
- he allegedly had an 11 and 12 year old girls send him nude pictures through Swapnote
- other men have been charged with statutory rape and indecency through compulsion

This sucks, and Nintendo needs to make sure this kind of stuff does’t happen again.

I saw a quote (maybe on that thread?) from a guy from the studio making the port and he assured it wasn`t copy paste. There was some work on the port to make it the best it could be on Wii U.

Let`s see what he was talking about.

 

Problem is BO2 didn`t sell a lot on Wii U, but Ghosts will easily sell a lot on PS4 and XB1. That`s why to them there`s a good financial reason to work harder.

Well if they ever expect it to sell THEY NEED TO RELEASE DLC

What Nintendo has done is a ridiculous and thoughtless move. I don't think just because of that, you should hate Nintendo. It's not like they took your games away or something, and it's not like the application cost money or anything. 

I dont hate Nintendo I was just upset at many things they are doing. I will always love Nintendo but not always their policies.

Wii U port seems to be best minus the multiplayer which everyone says that sucks.

Wii situation and Wii U situation is totally different. WiiU can run anything xb1 and ps4 can... Yes some changes will have to be made but not changes that make the game unplayable.

Ugh crappy ports. At least the Wii U will have some neat origional content.

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation App announced earlier this year will be available for iOS and Android devices in North America on November 13 and in Europe on November 22.

The App is set to provide second screen functionality for some PS4 titles, as well as let you access your PSN profile, check up on friends and trophies, send messages to other people who have the App or to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita users. You'll also be able to make purchases using the App and remotely download it, and also use your smartphone or tablet to turn your console on and off or as a keyboard for typing.
