Nintendo could always find a publisher that's willing to accept Nintendo Power. If M$ can make money of Xbox Magazine then Nintendo could make money off Nintendo Power.

I say he should step down. He is a nice guy with good intentions but doesn't know anything about capturing the core audience plus he handles PR horribly. And to make matters worse he is ditching an E3 presentation. I would be surprised if we even got 1 release date during E3 time. We need someone younger in charge.

That idea is all well and good if the company can remain viable. If I were a share holder I would be pissed if my stock dropped 16% in one day because the company can't forecast....they do have that fiduciary responsibility.

Shareholders would trust Nintendo if they made more money with the Wii U. The solution is games.

I'm never giving up on my Wii U but if this keeps up It will be my secondary console that I will only use for those mega IPs.

If capcom would invest in the Wii U, it would be the perfect system.

 

The two companies are a perfect fit and even their formulaic gameplay styles are perfect for each other.

 

Mega Man, Street fighter, Versus, Dragons Dogma, Ace Attorney, Resident Evil, Bionic Commando, Darkstalkers, DMC, Ghouls n' ghosts, Lost Planet, etc.

 

It would be like having Rare back.  Only better. They have got exceptional programming and artistic talent nowadays.  would be nice to see that translate to Wii U.

 

The type of games shown for Wii U remind me of a golden Age of gaming.  Where everything looks surreal and amazing and FUN! like games are supposed to be.  Then there is a mix of some serious (X), some stealth (Splinter Cell) some plain weird (Bayonetta), and some goofy (Wonderful 101).  

 

the mix of wii U games just "feels" right.

Capcom is getting better while EA is getting way worse.

Unless those quitters get replaced with an AI-controlled player.

I'm excited, but I'll be onboard the hype train when i see the Wi-fi logo. Mario party is way over due for online, and by the talks today, it doesn't sound like online was designed for the game.

As I said an online Mario Party would be flawed with quitters. Perhaps if there was a short mode for online that would be fun.

What revenue? You're already $40 in the hole because you have to buy it. It's not like you can sell anything through this. It's just a groups system.

The game industry is ignorant but not suicidal. At least Nintendo and Sony aren't.

Put better hardware in the consoles, i'd rather pay more money for somthing that lasts a good 7+ years that isn't hardware tapped untill the last couple of years.

I'm pretty sure the Wii U is built to last. Sony's are generally reliable so we will have to wait and see the PS4. As for the 720 it will most likley rely on a DRM server giving it a 7 year life span at the longest.

The crash is coming and I think it's unavoidable now, people have gotten way too greedy, quick get under your tables!!!

Well, out of the three console makers, Nintendo is the only one I see surviving this "crash". The others probably won't see value in games. Which would mean Nintendo would have gone through two crashes. (sort of. They started making The NES and released during the last crash).

I'm sure Sony will stay afloat too. I'm just not that sure about the NextBox. Even if M$ has the most money no one will want a system that runs on a DRM server.

Funny cuz I read an article earlier on Playeresscense that B2's creator is tired of hearing PS and Xbox owners moaning about it and he's not going to give in.

This is a true catch 22. We either buy the game and get screwed over or we don't buy it and Squeenix gets butthurt and refuses to work with the Wii U again. Good lord.
