Ouch £429.99!!!! liked the Roman game but other than that nothing looked any better than i EXPECT on WiiU. However how much is new 360? also Gold has two free games a month so that's pretty good.
I take it you aren't into sandbox gaming.

I liked it. But this is how the reveal should have been. I also really like the concept of that game were you create that island.
That game was pretty awesome. I'm also heavily excited for DR3 and KI.

Personally, the Xbox 360 is my least favorite of the three consoles.
I think it's better than the Wii but not as good as the Wii U.

I hope not or I'll end up going with the ps4. I personally don't need or want my GAMES console to be able to do everything, I have a decent 3D blue ray player for my movies, a sky+HD box for t.v. and a nexus 7 tablet & HTC one x phone for things like YouTube Facebook twitter etc, I buy consoles to play GAMES on,I've never even looked at the other stuff my 360 can do, and I have no interest in kinect, the room my console is in is too small for a start, and I have no interest in flailing my arms about as though I'm being attacked by invisible wasps or talking to my console ( having to put up with the voices in my head is bad enough)! I just wanna play GAMES using an ordinary controller, that is good enough for me dangit! Focus Your 720 on doing that extremely well Microsoft or say bye bye to a lot of your customers!....probably....*puff*.*pant*..rant over...that is all...message ends...
The Kinect ain't always for motion. alot of the new Xbox360 games that are kinect compatible barley use it or are optional. They just want to make it so the fans of Kinect can use it on whatever they please while the people that don't prefer it can stick to a controller only.
I've wanted a console to just play video games since they stopped that with last gen... I hate all the multimedia functions because it costs money that could be put into gaming aspects like more processing power and more RAM and less crap like DVD playback or Facebook integration. And in the PS4 case a massive OS running the Internet at all times in the background that uses up probably 2-3 GB of RAM! That RAM could be used to make games better with less load times and better draw distance which makes you feel more immersed. Microsoft has no place in the gaming business and I hope people show them that by not buying a 720!
When the time comes for me to get another next gen system I will get the PS4 instead. The 720 looks like a stepdown form the 360 minus the graphic improvement.

For me X look likes a new RPG as for an Xenoblade sequel I am not sure that might happen.
I think it's a Xeno for two reasons. X is the first letter in Xenoblade and it appears to have the same engine of gameplay.

Call me an insane fool but this is probably either a system or a merger and heres why.
-If it was a game it wouldn't have got a weird looking logo and codename probably. Plus it has way too much suspense and mystery
-It probably ain't a social network because you have to remember what would it be for? No one can compete with Steam and a social app wouldn't make sense because what would they talk about that is so special? And why would they make something if there already is PSN or Xbox Live?
-A groundbreaking accessory wouldn't make sense because of the fact the current console giants already have theirs.
-A merger with Nintendo would seem plausible since they are making three new Sonic games for them alone. Plus their relations are pretty good.
-As for a new system perhaps they see MS and Sony shooting themselves in their feet(And yes it is likely Sony will have used game DRM) giving Sega a good chance to jump in.
-A system is also possible due to the hip new trend of kickstarters. Plus remember how little money Nintendo had when they entered.

***Edit***
As for the derpy IOS rumors let me start off by saying Sega is a video game company. They would not drop their gaming priories to work on silly mobile OS based games exclusivley
That would be awesome, some sort of Wii U tie in. I think its more related to the arcade market, though. Sega still talk to hardware partners regularly as it is, they just don't do home consoles. They still have an arcade business.
Arcades died ages ago in the States.
Maybe it's their take on the Steam Box?
Read the edit I posted.
Not a new console. Sega talking to hardware partners would raise flags. It's probably game related, maybe some sort of online thing.
A wild possibility... Maybe Sega is helping Nintendo with their online, and its called Sega Spectrum?
Probably not BUT one can dream.
That goes in hand with my merger theory.

Why would a game be so shrouded in mystery with such an odd title. And what would the fuss be about if it was just another game?

I'm guessing it's for console. Sega never had huge luck with PC gaming and Steam would be very very hard to topple in that sense.

Screw Gamestop. You would be lucky to get $10 there. Have Nintendo fix it for $50-$60 I'm guessing then sell it online for $120 and make around $50 profit.

I certainly don't want it to fail but I'm also not jaded by supporting Nintendo in the past. I just see it how it is with the Wii U and Nintendo's approach and attitude regards it. They haven't changed their ways and whilst the Wii sold extremely well and was so successful because it was going after the casual and non-gamer market and priced very competitively they can't be complacent with the Wii U or rely on the same game plan with the Wii U.
You are blinded. The Wii U is not yet showing signs of success and Nintendo is losing both time and consumer confidence. It is in danger or is certainly headed that way whether you like it or not. Nintendo has a head start and they need to capitalise on it and make the most of it rather then sticking their head in the sand and hoping every thing will turn out OK.
How is it danger with the kickass lineup we saw in January plus the bad things we have been hearing about the next gen competition. BTW I'm getting a 360 Slim so how could I possibly be a Nintendo fanboy LOL?

All of this we know about. All of this has been mentioned and discussed here and elsewhere. Its hardly concrete evidence or even a reality. Its all supposition and speculation and doesn't change anything at this point.
Are you blind man? WF made an eye opening post and apparently you still couldn't see. Its like you actually want the Wii U to fail.

What kickass line up in January ? You obviously are oblivious to the software support by both Nintendo and third parties with even the future at the moment not looking very bright. As far the competition what bad things. All I read and hear is rumour and speculation that people like you and others blow out of proportion and assume are 100% true. Even if they were true its hardly the end of the world and a reason not to buy them. As for you buying an Xbox so what. The way you constantly make out on this forums that everything is right about the Wii U and Nintendo and how you unjustifiably criticise me for my opinions when a lot of is the truth you definitely come across as a fanboy.
LMFAO I'm getting a 360 so I can play some kickass thrid party games with my peeps here (I do have several). And as for what Nintendo did in January this is what im talking about...

No I don't want the Wii U to fail. Quite the contrary. I am a big fan of Nintendo and its consoles. However unlike you I'm a realist and see it how it is and i am NOT prepared to give Nintendo a get out of jail for free card. You on the other hand seem blinded by your views on Nintendo and the Wii U and think they can't do anything wrong and everything about the Wii U and the way Nintendo is marketing and promoting it is perfect. I've got news for you its not. You sound like a broken record constantly criticising me for my opinion acting like a fanboy. I'm not going to accept everything is right with Nintendo and the Wii U when it clearly is NOT. Nintendo have made several mistakes and its not the first time so they clearly haven't learnt what the market wants and what creates success in the market place.
I'm not blinded. I can tell when a system is in danger and I honestly don't see the Wii U or any of it's competitors in danger.

Well thats just ONE F'ING GUY who said new games only so who cares? Development kits also does not matter, look a assassins creed 3 & darksiders 2 for example were in development for a VERY long time & are launch games. Plus lost planet sucks horribly every time! So your points are VERY invalid, get a life!
Calm down. I agree with the guy you quoted completely.
