reckon the 3X one will show up on amazon aswel? nyko told me it should be in shops in the US mid Feb. ..i guess that 2X 1 is abit bulky really...wonder why they bothered with that 1 when theyre doing a 3X battery, which i reckon may be cheaper...hasn't got all the bulk/stand etc.I can't wait to get the 3X one, I needs it!!!

Anyone know a decent mac mini alternative?
I used to have 1 then got a mac air but miss the easy playback of films. I could watch anything via VLC straightaway. Now I have to transfer to my ps3 1st, which doesn't play all file types. I have an apple tv but sometimes airplay can lag..so looking for something like a mac mini but half the price, if it exists. Would like it to have hdmi aswel.
I sold my iPhone 5 & got a Lumia 820, so a windows 8 "mini" would be nice so I can control via my Lumia.

Most of you will be aware nyko are releasing 2 battery packs.
this 1 is available 8th Feb..its the plug on type though, that offers 2x battery life. I will add the link here for UK gamers. I was more interested in the battery replacement though, that's 3x more battery life & replaces existing out of sight. Can't find a UK pre order for that though.

I think the online modes have moved around. Core doesn't seem to have as many, there's an objective menu now with them there..i may be wrong though
Just noticed aswel, playing with my Nokia beats in the gamepad, sound was fine but my voice was not detecting like it did before the patch. This is actually a good thing for me coz the wife would be chatting away or watching the tv and the sound was coming through my mic..most likely annoying everyone lol, I only shouted obscenities down it when I died anyway. I haven't tried my other headphones I use aswel..could just be my mic..although, phone calls are fine, or were. Anyway, check it out and let me know ya findings

I've just gone to play online, says update required. How do I update? Can't find it? Starting the game from Wii menu doesn't say anything...this is weird
Nevermind. Its found it now by loading the game. Mustn't have been connected online when I loaded before. Quick update anyway..only took seconds

you can voice chat online during pre-game lobby and game on black ops2. if thats what you meant?
its great, you plug any headphones with a mic on into the gamepad & thats it...totally immersed in the game - i actually prefer black ops on the gamepad only...don't play it on my TV...for some reason i find the TV too big now lol. i still use it for zombieU, mario & sonic though. i guess it depends on the game..like trine 2 i use mainly on gamepad only aswel.
depending on your circumstance, the gamepad has probably tripled my game time, i can play while the wife watches her programmes...that is awesome. once you get it, you won't go back to ps3/360...my ps3 just seems boring compared. even though a couple quality games like 'beyond' and 'last of us' are coming out on ps3...i wish they were coming to wii u, might still get them though..i loved heavy rain. anyway..going off topic there.
Trophies aren't in...yet, wasn't bothered at 1st..but again after having them on my s3...i kinda miss the trophy pinging when i achieve something in game ...hopefully, IF it does come in...the wiiU recognises those achievements and auto-unlocks them. im sure the ps3 did that when they brought trophies in.
zombieU is best played with gamepad..thats the whole point really, to show what the wiiU is about..has some great features with it. at 1st..the gamepad feels like an alien controller...now, its the best controller i have ever used..i hope ps4/720 brings one out...waiting for the TV is so 2012 XD

last night when i got on there was around 3700 people playing, no problem getting into a game, depends on what mode your trying to play though. And Dan im in the same boat with prestiging im 51 just don't fell like doing it all over again but I think I will get bored with it when nothing counts anymore
prestige seems quicker each time. i'm currently prestige 2 level 39..i'll deffo rank again. plus you get cool new badges each time..rather than keeping those stars.
also, just use your bonus to unlock what ever you use each time...then you always have them from level 6. also, by maxing out weapons..to gold etc..you get more points for ranking quicker aswel...easily get 4k a match (then the mega bonus for completing challenges)

the thing that worries me most is the wiiU games lack of dlc, patches..there hasnt been any. on any game..the game devs say, ye we have it...just waiting on ninty to approve it..thats for trine 2...so why are they holding back? i think there's more to it..thats why they say..nah, cant be bothered patching zombieU

I rarely play to be honest. Playing on the gamepad has given so much more game time..so blackops, sonic, Mario, trine2 all get more time due to gamepad support with no tv..wife can't moan now . What this points at though, is another 'lack of dlc, patches etc that all wiiU games are suffering - its ridiculous. All games need patches..theres always bugs

I just got off the phone with tech support, having even spoken with the initial tech’s supervisor who gave me the direct answer to my inquiry regarding a patch for Zombiu. He told me in no uncertain terms that the dev team WILL NOT be persuing ANY patch at ANY time. THIS DECISION IS FINAL.
The supervisor told me that the dev team does not believe that the current level of complaints warrants the effort to pursue work on a patch and that the dev team’s time would be put to better use working on other projects.
Great to see the launch support, sad to see the lack of support afterwards. Thanks to DerFux for the heads up.

They should get a more charismatic person to do these for the UK..actually, probably for the rest of the world aswel. He is so boring..i know he's speaking English and that must be hard etc..but its so hard to,concentrate on what he's actually saying. Then he stands staring at an autocue..i just find it hard work. After watching, I was left wondering what had just happened the last half hour.

Its bring the Wii U to Armenia..now, I'm not sure whether Armenians can actually get the Wii U come to think of it?
