Ive cancelled my pre order, ill maybe rent it 1st..not liking what ive seen/heard of the other versions. Looks like 'beyond' and 'the last of us' will be my next purchases...and theyre on ps3...hmm, something is wrong about that.

i read a recent report today that the wiiU version is the 'beast of game version' we were always expecting. im sure youve seen the demo vs 360/ps3/pc versions out now? how awesome the demo looked compared to the actual released version?? well, rumour has it..that demo version was of the wiiU gameplay...apparently the ps3/360/pc got a last minute 'port' due to lack of wiiU sales..this was to make up on the amount gone into the wiiU VERSION...AND EVEN IF IT SELLS WELL ON WIIU, THERE ISN'T A BIG ENOUGH USER-BASE TO BRING IN PROFITS. SO (sorry for caps, hadn't realised i hit the button lol, now i can't be bothered retyping that bit..i'd rather waste more time explaining my use of caps) now back to it......So, i do think the wiiU version will be out by the end of march...and hopefully....fingers crossed, it's better than that 'demo version' - which was sick! ...so, there is still hope yet.

i will deffo wait for wiiU reviews and youtube gameplay footage before i buy though. just incase this was all a load of bull carp..and the wiiU is just as bad

Some sites are showing 31st march release date. Could be guessing though as that would be end of Q1..which was promised.

I was impressed with the demo but wasn't sure id buy it..then this announcement angered me..as it was another blow for the wiiU. if they did release it this month now i would buy it..i guess ya want what ya cant have. Really pushing themselves to move much more quickly than normal, taking greater risks, and putting it all on the line... For $299 and $349. Selling at a loss. Hello, i'm hoping you can shed a little light on when Aliens is being released? all other console version have been giving a release date while the wii U date is up in the air..with no information other than - released Q1? ..so by the end of March? The trouble with this, like Black Ops2 suffered..is that most gamers have either a ps3/360/pc along with the wiiU. Most people will not wait, especially if we don't have a date to wait for? Black Ops online is very poor in terms of online gamers compared to ps3/360. I think if the wiiU had been released in time for the launch of that game, the WiiU would have sold alot more. why will people wait when they can go get it next month for the other consoles? it's a shame, the wiiU is a great console, offers new experiences..but gamers are hardly the most patient of people..your doing yourself out of sales by not giving specific dates.
This also applies to the DLC for black ops2 aswel...every other version has a date...next month. Treyarch give the wiiu gamers cryptic messages...they won't say 'yes' or 'no' to whether we are getting the DLC as was promised..£55 i paid for that game, by the time the DLC is announced...if ever, who will buy it 6months down the line? then they will think there is no point in supporting the wiiU with future games etc..as nobody is buying it.
sorry to rant, it's just frustrating.

What annoys me, and I know this is a different publisher/developer whatever, is that aliens colonial marines is launched on Tuesday but only the ps360 & PC versions Wiiu owners gotta wait. I'm not worried. It was never going to be my primary console when the ps4/720 comes out..ill be getting 1 of them aswel. The Wii u will then be for exclusives only, but for now ye, its replaced my ps3..i think its a much better experience. Hopefully the 3rd party games keep coming until then anyway.

I really don't know why people have to start threads to justify why they have sold a console soon after they bought it. They obviously didn't do their research and bought the system blindly. As for their being no AAA games that's just absolute rubbish as there are several of them. If there aren't any games you like that's a different thing altogether and again doing research would have helped with that. As for launch games being delayed the only one to my knowledge has been Rayman Legends.

As for Pikmin 3 I believe it was a launch window game and its cynical to think that the reason or the only reason it's been pushed back is for marketing reasons. Looking at recent reports its come a long way since E3 and no doubt it needs and will need even more polish. Not mention its not the first time a game has been pushed back or delayed. As for the price of the system coming down in the next two years people who think that need to wake up and smell the coffee as it isn't going to happen.

Nintendo have already said that when a Wii U owner buys one game they break even. They are selling the console at a loss already and aren't going to reduce the price anytime soon. Lastly I and I think a lot of people bought the Wii U and buy new consoles in general for the long term and know that there will be more quality top games coming out. There are already quality games on the console anyway.

How can the OP not be satisfied with the launch games? There's a game for everyone out of these. ZombieU for the survivalist, blackops2 for the shooter, AC3 for adventure & action, sonic racing, Nintendo land for party and family games..trine 2 is awesome! There's batman, mass effect! Friggin loads?!? Lol. Plus..aliens coming early next year is going to be awesome! From the gameplay I've seen, I'm pretty sure it's the wiiU version..the devs at te end talk about the gamepad and how sweet it is in that game. Can't wait!

Ive had a freeze too since updating today. Oh dear Nintendo....dear oh dear.

What's it freezing on? I've not had any issues with mine..wondering whether its just a disc/game issue.

I've got zombieU, blackops2 on disc. Downloaded trine2. These all work splendidly..miiverse I go on a lot aswel. No issues..before or after updates.

Hmmm, I haven't had that email. I guess I'll see if it updates by this Friday. even if I'm out of luck ill probably just hold onto that pre order guarantee price. Looking around £325 seems a good price for what I'm getting.

I will have to call TNT on my lunch hour I guess, not entirely sure on process involved in picking up items from their depot or for that matter where on earth local depot is lol. Depends on how bothered I am when it comes to finishing work tonight lol.

You'll get a calling card, you'd prob have to ring a number to say try again tomorrow or collect at depot and take card. Not sure where you live but there is a depot in deeside, north Wales lol. I live in wrexham so it's handy, but I'm just staring out my window like a weird stalker now..patiently waiting..with my sniper gun & a flask of coffee, rocking back n too & whispering TNT to myself.. :|

My tracking information never worked but it was delivered on Thursday and luckily someone was at home at the time. Unfortunately I was too tired when I got home to unbox and set it up. I've been very busy since and all I've done so far is disconnect my Wii which was a real chore due to all my cables being tangled up at the back of my various consoles and other devices. LOL. Anyway I'm going to spend tomorrow connecting and setting up the Wii U.
