downloaded fifa demo, want to delete it. i hold down..can move etc, but doesn't say delete.?

if u press the sellection button, there is not any sellection "play / delete / etc" ?

do i need tv on? im just on gamepad at the moment..if i hold down the app..i can drag it around..but nothings says delete. or a 'X' like iPhones etc..

Ive cancelled my pre order, ill maybe rent it 1st..not liking what ive seen/heard of the other versions. Looks like 'beyond' and 'the last of us' will be my next purchases...and theyre on ps3...hmm, something is wrong about that.

i read a recent report today that the wiiU version is the 'beast of game version' we were always expecting. im sure youve seen the demo vs 360/ps3/pc versions out now? how awesome the demo looked compared to the actual released version?? well, rumour has it..that demo version was of the wiiU gameplay...apparently the ps3/360/pc got a last minute 'port' due to lack of wiiU sales..this was to make up on the amount gone into the wiiU VERSION...AND EVEN IF IT SELLS WELL ON WIIU, THERE ISN'T A BIG ENOUGH USER-BASE TO BRING IN PROFITS. SO (sorry for caps, hadn't realised i hit the button lol, now i can't be bothered retyping that bit..i'd rather waste more time explaining my use of caps) now back to it......So, i do think the wiiU version will be out by the end of march...and hopefully....fingers crossed, it's better than that 'demo version' - which was sick! ...so, there is still hope yet.

i will deffo wait for wiiU reviews and youtube gameplay footage before i buy though. just incase this was all a load of bull carp..and the wiiU is just as bad

Some sites are showing 31st march release date. Could be guessing though as that would be end of Q1..which was promised.

Have you all seen this vid? Around 8mins he starts talking about the Wii U...although it hadn't been fully announced back then, this is the game developers saying the Wii U version is superior to the the competition - worth a watch. Can't wait now

I've got black ops, sonic, Mario, zombieU, trine2. All support audio with headphones in gamepad only. The idea of it though is for devz to add features like zombkeU with prepper talking on ganrpad, audio on tv..but ya can set it to gamepad only. Aliens is another good use, having the beeper and radar on gamepad..gunna be sick that game, can't wait. By the way..have u got 5.1 surround sound? That cud be your issue

Hold on here! I got sonic racing & a headset (my wife can't stand the announcers voice) & when I plug in the headset I don't get the tv audio unless I play exclusively on the gamepad. I want to play on the tv with all the audio coming through my headset that's plugged into the gamepad. Are you saying there's a way to do this? Cuz I couldn't find one.

not tried that..if I use the tv then I'll have my sound bar blasting. If the wife has tv then I just play them on gamepad with headphones. The OP was saying the sound wasn't fully supported through the gamepad, which it is....even the home menu sounds..like he said doesn't, it does:) - if u really need headphones for sound but use tv...theres a few options. Like that guy above said, or Bluetooth headphones connected to ya tv out...or there are several special tv headphones..that can do it

If it fell..it's your fault. Why would they fix it for free? You should have just took it back the shop and played dumb..aslong as there was no visible damage..you may have gotten away with it. But to call them and basically say "I dropped it, it's broke, can you fix it for free" ? Not gonna happen

I really don't know why people have to start threads to justify why they have sold a console soon after they bought it. They obviously didn't do their research and bought the system blindly. As for their being no AAA games that's just absolute rubbish as there are several of them. If there aren't any games you like that's a different thing altogether and again doing research would have helped with that. As for launch games being delayed the only one to my knowledge has been Rayman Legends.

As for Pikmin 3 I believe it was a launch window game and its cynical to think that the reason or the only reason it's been pushed back is for marketing reasons. Looking at recent reports its come a long way since E3 and no doubt it needs and will need even more polish. Not mention its not the first time a game has been pushed back or delayed. As for the price of the system coming down in the next two years people who think that need to wake up and smell the coffee as it isn't going to happen.

Nintendo have already said that when a Wii U owner buys one game they break even. They are selling the console at a loss already and aren't going to reduce the price anytime soon. Lastly I and I think a lot of people bought the Wii U and buy new consoles in general for the long term and know that there will be more quality top games coming out. There are already quality games on the console anyway.

How can the OP not be satisfied with the launch games? There's a game for everyone out of these. ZombieU for the survivalist, blackops2 for the shooter, AC3 for adventure & action, sonic racing, Nintendo land for party and family games..trine 2 is awesome! There's batman, mass effect! Friggin loads?!? Lol. Plus..aliens coming early next year is going to be awesome! From the gameplay I've seen, I'm pretty sure it's the wiiU version..the devs at te end talk about the gamepad and how sweet it is in that game. Can't wait!

Now, I checked the CCTV monitors several times now and each time it just lists several healing items, misc items and some ammo, but never any weapons. Do the weapons respawn, or am I screwed cause I looted them all the first time then died?

Personally I wouldn't buy off brand or third party accessories especially when it comes to controllers. They are typically never licenced and usually reverse engineered. Even if they are licenced they won't be of the same quality as the official ones. I've ordered the following official black Wii remote plus from Shop To. It's comes bundled with a Wii game called Fling Smash which isn't that great but its the cheapest option I've found for getting an official remote at just under £30. Multiplayer isn't a big thing with me even local so I don't need multiple controllers.

With Xmas coming I was thinking more family will be over and I was going to get sonic racing and Nintendo land aswel. I suppose 2 wii motes would be ok for now..at least the gamepad can be used as a 3rd. They are expensive though.

Does the official remote plus require the sensor bar?

I'm looking to pick up a few wii remotes..but paying £40 each is just silly. Looking on eBay there's someone selling them for £14, it doesnt have a wii logo so I assume its a 3rd party remote.

Is there any difference between the 3rd party and official remote plus?
