#138736 Why was my drawing deleted by an admin?

Posted by PRP777 on 26 November 2012 - 06:56 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Well, clearly Nintendo wants less Toriyama art and more awesome bruce lee pics.

I dont know man. Only thing I can think of is copyright? Maybe they deleted yours because it actually looked like Toriyamas dragon ball characters and the others were crappy enough to not be in copyright/trademark danger?

Random bruce Lee fact, did you know this dude could take a seventy pound weight, hold it at his side, and with his arm straight the whole time, raise it up striaght out in front of him, until it was parallel to the ground, and then hold it, no shaking, for over a minute?

That man was something else.

Another fact, he was the only man to put an actual scar on Chuck Norris's face. He truely is the Godfather of MMA.

The ONLY reason I can think of is the fact that his nipples are apparent. They might find this inappropriate for younger users?

Keyword "his" it's not a she, so it wouldn't be considered nudity.

Maybe the Admin hates everything Dragon Ball Z related after he tried the Kinect game, or since Goku has nothing to do with any Wii U game (as far as I know) they felt like removing him since he doesn't fit with any of the game communities...........or maybe it's the nipples.

That's not the case. I see a lot of DB drawings, and none of them get deleted. They did make DB games for the Wii, and you can watch DB videos on Youtube and Amazon.

We can rule out nipples being the cause because my Bruce Lee drawing has not been touched.

It's a drawing of SSJ 4 Goku.

From what I understand at the moment Nintendo has been remove crazy in which I mean if 1 person reports something no matter what it gets deleted by the admin.

I don't get it. It was supposedly deleted, but people who aren't on my friends list are able to comment and like it.

I read the code of conduct and no where did I see a reason for this drawing to be deleted.

#136038 Wii U not reading Wii saves!

Posted by PRP777 on 22 November 2012 - 05:47 AM in Wii U Hardware

So you're just inserting the Wii disc and the SD card you kept from your Wii, and expecting it to work? I honestly don't know if it's going to work or not, I was under the impression you had to do the data migration from the Wii to the Wii U.

http://www.ign.com/a...-save-transfers

That's only if you want to keep your old account that's stored on the Wiis internal memory. By any chance do you know how to set the HD option on youtube from the Wii U?

You performed the proper migration from your Wii to your Wii U ? If so, I don't know - ask Nintendo.

I no longer have a Wii. I wonder if I could use a gamesave hack. I don't want to have to unlock all the characters again.

#136027 Wii U not reading Wii saves!

Posted by PRP777 on 22 November 2012 - 05:05 AM in Wii U Hardware

Question for you. I tried to play a Wii game on the Wii U, and it didn't read my save data for that game. When I popped it in the pc I saw the files were there. Also, I had purchased two games Mario 64 and Super Mario. I was able to see them from the SD section of the Wii menu, but I couldn't load them to play. What can I do to get this to work?

#135279 Wii U 'Has A Horrible, Slow CPU' Says Metro Last Light Dev

Posted by PRP777 on 21 November 2012 - 05:49 AM in Wii U Hardware

Posting the edited and full post...

in theory yes, but the latest report from eurogamer says that while playing NSMBU the console was consuming only 33W and around 29W in the menus with no disc

If that's the case I wonder how much cooler the console would run if you could install the disc, so it wouldn't have to run. I also wonder how much the watts would be reduced if Nintendo decided to add this feature.

If you didn't want a Wii U for it's exclusives then what were you expecting from it's ports? Most of you spec elitist should have been smart enough to build your own rig. It would have fulfilled your graphic whore needs.

#134490 Is it normal for a white light to be on when a game is inserted?

Posted by PRP777 on 20 November 2012 - 08:37 AM in Wii U Hardware

Um first of all im not a lady my name is Angelo

I unplug it from my surge protector once ipowered down and i know im done gaming for the day if you guys think its better to just leave it in standby mode ill do that but like I said never had problems doing this with electronics before and you save power even in standbye mode were the light is just red your still useing some power.

It saves you about $2.00 a year. I just wish there was a switch to power off the lights rather then resorting to unplugging.

#134337 Is your gamepad rattling?

Posted by PRP777 on 20 November 2012 - 04:18 AM in Wii U Hardware

Why is this an issue for people? As far as I know there isn't any games that require you to rattle your controller like it's a maraca. Anyways it's where the stylus goes into the hole that's making the noise. Shine a led flashlight into it and you'll see what I'm talking about. The noise comes from the right hand side where the stylus goes and where the interface buttons are located. Not an issue for me. The only issue I have is with the console light indicating that there is a disc inside when the console is powered off. <_<

#134237 Assassin Creed 3 footage wiiu

Posted by PRP777 on 19 November 2012 - 11:57 PM in Wii U Games and Software

What the hell is the point of having the extras option then on the main menu? It's for a 19 digit DLC code. We need to complain to Ubisoft, so we can get the DLC that was meant to be given to us. Because I'll be damned if I have to pay later on for DLC the other consoles got for free!!

As far as the Gamestop bonus this is the email I got back because they delayed my poweruprewards points. "In response to your email request, we have added 1980 points to your account. Assassin's Creed 3 scores triple points: http://www.gamestop.com/e" One could safely assume that that was the bonus.

Don't be silent be heard. Demand answers from Ubisoft!

I'm done ranting. I just really want to play the Tyranny of Washington mission.

Also, voice recognition would be nice.

#134200 Is it normal for a white light to be on when a game is inserted?

Posted by PRP777 on 19 November 2012 - 11:04 PM in Wii U Hardware

I'm telling the lady I quoted that the reason the manual tells her to unplug it when not in use for a prolonged period of time, is to avert potential damage to the battery of the upad.
It's a standard warning on all lion batteries.

I know I'm just saying that sucks. It should stop charging when it's fully charged. :(

#134193 Is it normal for a white light to be on when a game is inserted?

Posted by PRP777 on 19 November 2012 - 10:52 PM in Wii U Hardware

That's the upad, which has a lithium battery, which could be damaged if over-charged.
The console isn't a upad.

You're telling me that I have to time when the upad is done, so I can take it off the charger immediately before it damages the battery?

#134174 Idea for next gamepad

Posted by PRP777 on 19 November 2012 - 10:24 PM in Wii U Hardware

What if Nintedo released a 3DS: XXL, and made it so that it's cross play compatible with the Wii U. Just imagine being able to play 3DS games on the TV, and being able to view Wii U games in 3D on the gamepad. They could also amp up the res on the device. IDK I just figured instead of releasing so many handheld clones they give it some practical use. Also extended battery life would also be nice.

#134152 Gamepad skin/case

I'm also looking for skins for the console and the gamepad. I wish I could find one like my avatar.

#134146 Is it normal for a white light to be on when a game is inserted?

Posted by PRP777 on 19 November 2012 - 10:06 PM in Wii U Hardware

how is it worse I do it with all my systems and never once had a problem. If you read the manuel it even tells you to unplugg the ac adapter to the game pad when its not in use.

Where do you unplug it from the outlet or the console?

#134114 Is it normal for a white light to be on when a game is inserted?

Posted by PRP777 on 19 November 2012 - 09:37 PM in Wii U Hardware

I just unplug the cord once I power of the system Im not trying to burn my disc drive out just to eject a disc to make a white light dissapear.

Constantly unplugging and replugging it is worse. Besides the disc isn't spinning. Why would it if the console is off?

That's kind of pointless and a minor annoyance. There should be an option to disable that.
