This will be interesting. I wonder how much memory is used for OS and gaming? Multitasking takes ALOT of memory... I bet 1-2 GB dedicated to just gaming and the rest for OS/Muli tasking. If thats the case then you wont see much difference out of the three.

Kinetic 2.0 alone is 2 gig according to Kinetic SDK.
Wow so 2 gig for just Kinect... then say 2 more for gaming. thats half the system memory right there. Then the other 4 for multitasking and OS.

And this is the reason why we dont get third party support.... Why drop the Wii U preorder and go for PS4? The video i saw looked like a downgrade from what was first shown. Hopefully and thats a biiiiiiig HOPE! I am hopeful that the Wii U version will be a bit more stable with the framerate.
Im going to buy it on my Wii U because well I dont own the other consoles and I try to support third parties on Nintendo whenever I can.
#226042 What if in a few years Nintendo made a Wii U RAM Expansion Pak?

It would make the original Wii U obsolete and honestly dont think many developers or publishers would even bother with it. Would be like the CD attachments for the SNES or N64. Useless.
The CD attachment for the N64 would of helped wonders if it came out along side the console... I dont even think it hit North America. If the CD attachment was out for N64 Square would of kept FF7 on Nintendo IMO.

While the Wii U in reality is powerful enough to hold it's own against the Xbone and PS4, Everyone outside these forums from non-MS/Sony fanboy to developers have the common believe that the Wii U is only meagerly more powerful than the PS360, Would it be best for Nintendo to release a ram expansion for the Wii U like they done for the N64 or better yet a more powerful model of the Wii U that's as powerful as the PS4?
As much as Id like for this to happen it just wouldnt work. They would have to have this idea in mind before making the console so they could design a way any average Joe could pop in a new/additional memoy module without damaging the console. USB RAM would not work either. As of right now you would have to pop open the console, voiding any warranty you may have.

Have you finished mario NES? It was freaking hard man. I think I've only finished it once or twice, using as many of the secret exits as I could.
Many times. I got my NES when I was 3. The first sentence i remember being able to read is "Course clear you got a card!" LOL! thats sad isnt it... I also used to throw banannas around the house like I was Link and that was my boomerang... Ahh the good ol days of gaming! But yes Super Mario on NES was a hard game. You know you can continue?! lol

I say that Mario games are hard core because they are unfofgiving with regard to game play mechanics, they are casual however in that they are forgiving in the sense that you get many 1ups and you do not have to find all the secrets or shoot for a high score ... you can breeze through them too.
the reason I do not like Little Big Planet is because the character moves too slow and the controls are sloppy, interesting ideas but not exciting for me,
Mario games are only hard if you have never played a NES...

These reviewers are a bunch of cry babies. This is how its been in the older Sonics, collect rings, get hit and only get a fraction back. Not a big deal. Crying about not having a check point... really??? You want the game to play for you too?
I plan on buying this the first day. When i saw the IGN review I looked for other reviews out there and they are all mixed.

Do you know the history here? Lost Levels is the actual Mario 2 that was released in Japan. Nintendo of Japan thought Americans would think Super Mario 2 would be too hard and also it looked like the same game.. So we get Doki Doki panic reworked as a Mario game.
Now im not sure why you got discounted but sweet!

Its a Sega Saturn with the 28k modem built in already. History lesson - Sega Saturn had a 28k modem that could be used to play online games, surf the web and send emails. The modem plugged into the top slot that looks like it would fit a Genesis cart in. Action reply also plugs into that to unlock region!
Sega Saturn was/is awesome. I remember being a kid in the 90s, no one had a Saturn. Everyone had PSx or N64. I

Yes this is very confusing... i just read on IGN earlier that Kevin would be back. Oh well, im sure it will be a great game no matter who voices Batman. Id much rather have Kevin back because he is Batman to me... Watched Batman the Animated Series when it started in 92, still watch it with my Kids today.
Id like the whole "look back" idea... LOL maybe we will get some time travel where old and young Bruce help each othe LOL. Or Batman Beyond treatment. Old Bruce/Kevin does the whole "Oracle" thing... Eh im just talking out of my butt now...

Oh, yeah. Because the art looks so much better than Super Mario Bros. on the NES. You do know this is supposed to emulate 8-bit graphics, right? Read the title of the game again.
LOL! I noticed that as well. I think ill buy this game. I love watching Regular Show with my kids.

I was wondering if anyone else who is a member of Club Nintendo got an email for a survey to earn 10 extra coins regarding Nintendo products?
In this survey they asked if i knew about the Xbox One and PS4 and if i was planning to buy one. I told the truth and said "no". I am wondering if Nintendo is just trying to guage some of their loyal customers to find out if they are switching or maybe planning on upping their game?
Woohoo I made Platinum status again!!

Wow, so many idiots in here it is unreal. Like xWydrAx has been screaming in the whole thread, he didnt attack the other companies. He stated that the competitions launch line up is "meh" compared to the CURRENT/FUTURE line up. Not once did he mention the Wii U launch games. He is saying you will get better value buying a wii u and experiencing the CURRENT/FUTURE titles than forking out $100+ more dollars on a system with nothing but "MEH" launch titles. Like a few others who can read have said, the launch line up titles are multiplatform and also being made for PS3/60. So why even upgrade? I never bought a PS3 because all their games except MGS4 were "meh"...

Hehe
You can just "WydrA btw. I just use the x's cause just WydrA is taken
lol i just copied and pasted.
I know I plan to buy all the upcoming games for WiiU. Not all at once but I will get them. Non of the competition has games that would convince me to purchase. I know my brother wants a PS4 but he wants it just to have one not because of the launch games lol.

So far the game is awesome. Im about 3 days in so far i catch myself looking in the distance watching the scenery. Like the animals/bad guys swimming in the water, stuff like that. I had my son give me a crash course in the game since this was the first time ive played it. He knew what to do and how to get it done lol. The co-op missions are great, some are kind of tough, took him and I a few times to get some done but once you get your system down it goes alot smoother. On co-op I notice we communicate alot. like "ok bring Brittany back over here so i can do this."
I love the way the tablet functions as your map, we set that on the coffee table and he uses the pro and i use wiimote/nunchuck. Its a good game and im digging it. The bingo battle is great too. You can either play the game nice or all out attack your foe, screw up their card buy getting the fruit they need lol. I heard my kids fighting abou that...

My son started playing Pikmin 1 and 2 when he was like four or five years old. He loves Pikmin, your son may not understand whats going on but im sure he will still have fun playing.
Lol just have him watch ChuggaConroy.
On the first screen when you boot up your WiiU and it asks your to select a profile, you can create a new profile here for your son. When he wants to play his saved game just log him into his profile and load up a game and it will have its own save slots. This only works for some games, games like New Super Luigi U will load the same three saved files no matter what profile is logged in.

Im sick of this hardcore/casual title. I think their commercials are ok. Atleast they have them on TV now. 3rd parties need to add "WiiU" to their commercials too, that would help out.

You should give Megaman a shot. Great games, good memories of creating the code boxes and writing them down. Megaman X series is great too.

I think those that dismiss Donkey Kong werent old enough to enjoy it on SNES! Im excited and ready for DK and the new Mario. Mario Kart will move systems. Check out the comments youtube for X and Bayonetta 2... alot of Sony and Xbox fans are wishing they were getting those games... I think games like that will convert some Sony/MS fans.
