That is a really good question. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer off hand. I imagine that will involve contacting Nintendo, which is the next recommended step. Whatever you find out through them, please let the rest of us know. ![]()

I have had the same request a few times on my board, and we opted not to do it. Regardless of how many times people promise that you won't be expected to regulate or even take action, they most certainly will upon a money transaction going sour. You must ask yourself if you want to be in a position of banning/removing a member, who has otherwise contributed positively, because a sale/trade mismanagement that was either linked or outright conducted on site.

Admittedly, there are a lot of market indicators that should make Nintendo worried, but, after hearing "Nintendo is dead" since the N64 days, they don't carry much weight for me.
Also, in regards to a refocus on Xbox One siren sounding, don't worry. If people thought that the consumer base response to the Wii U's initial presentation was bad, that is nothing compared to the ugly mess that is going on after Microsoft's conference this week.

Since I didn't play the game the first time around on the 3DS and I am a fan of the old-school Resident Evil games, this is an easy purchasing choice for me. I have it reserved.

It has been longer than normal since the last time I shared Gunslinger updates here. There is a perfectly good reason, however. There was a Gunslinger wedding of sorts over the weekend. Myself and GS*Toezer married. Unrelated yet just as special, GS*Nightfury's wife gave birth to their first child over the weekend as well. ![]()
When we write about being adult gamers who game around a busy schedule, these are the sort of life developments we mean. I know all too often the overall gaming clan community is full of groups feuding over trumped up online dramas. Let them have it, and come join the Gunslingers instead. We are a group full of real people with real lives you can relate to.
The Wii U Need for Speed: Most Wanted Clan for Adults.
The Wii U Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Clan for Adults.
The Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate Clan for Adults.
The Nintendo Wii U Clan for Adults.

I wouldn't hold my breath about seeing a Wii U remake of GoldenEye any time soon. The developer, Eurocom, of both the Wii's GoldenEye and the Wii U's 007 Legends closed shop last year. In the very best scenario, another James Bond related title has been quite delayed.
It would by fantastic if RARE did another Bond game. Unfortunately, Nintendo and RARE had quite a contractual falling out back on the Nintendo 64, which is why we didn't see GoldenEye 007 (N64 version), Perfect Dark, and Conker's Bad Fur Day available on the Wii's Virtual Console while the latter two examples are available on the Xbox360's Marketplace.

I know what you are thinking. You read the phrase "...clan for adults" in the title of this topic, but what does that mean? How are you supposed to know if we are the gaming group for you?
Let's throw out some pop cultural references and see if they seem familiar.
If you not only remember the character Ernest P. Worrell, but you remember him in soda commercials...
If you, without further hints, knew what movie the line, "This is Walter! AHHHH!" is from...
If you thought, regardless of the children crying, White Lion probably didn't have the answer to world peace...
...you'll fit right in with the Gunslingers! ![]()
Seriously, though. The Gunslingers is the perfect oasis for the busy yet laid-back older gamer looking for a group that treats gaming like hanging out with a group of drinking buddies.

Hey, I like the Gamecube, but "Best Console Ever?" Sorry, I can't follow you down that path. In fact, I passed on the Gamecube for the PS2 during that generation of the console wars. And this is coming from a person that has purchased every Nintendo console since and including the original NES.

This question doesn't make any sense. All I know is, if I had decided my birthday gift was going to be between two such high-priced items as a kid, it would only be met with laughter from my parents.
Not that I am still bitter about the whole Voltron incident....

I would agree that simply resizing the banners would be an obvious solution. Even if a person doesn't want to download GIMP, most image hosting sites have built in tools for common place image edits, such as resizing.
I like seeing everyone's fantastic signature work. It would be a shame if the choice truly becomes scrolling pass obnoxiously sized signatures or turning off signatures all together in my forum settings. Like with the defense of removing the chat, this place is about the forum discussions, right?
#200775 I dont think EA is that bad

I think a whole genre of why EA has a terrible reputation is being forgotten here. The problems are not exclusively tied into consumer complaints. As someone who lives near EA headquarters and have several acquaintances work for them, EA is notorious for treating their workers with little respect. Few game publishers have such a well-known bad reputation in regards to employee satisfaction or high level of staff turn-over in Los Angeles than EA.
Since LA is still the major hub for the game, film, commercial, and digital effects industry, that is saying a lot.

Buy? I'm re downloading them all, I bought ALOT of VC games on my Wii, Its like I'm playing the Ultimate console that I can play modern games and my childhood games.
I am in the same proverbial boat. I have many digital purchases sitting on the Wii console and on a SD card that I would love to have gamepad and Miiverse features.

A friend pointed out to me the non spinning of disc update as well. That is a great adjustment. As a Wii owner who had to get his disc drive assembly replaced because it was burned out by Treyarch's Black Ops port (known issue), I am grateful of the longevity consideration.

this may be a stupid question, but who would be mad for Nintendo finally making profit?
To be fair, Nintendo has only reported a loss during one fiscal year. No other home video console maker can claim the same. Ever.

The virtual console additions were not part of today's system updates. The Virtual Console portion will go live tomorrow.
Check the 18:50 minute mark of 4/17/13's video edition of Nintendo Direct for reference.

There's alot of doubtful Nintendo fans who are being constantly tormented by PS360 players on the Official SEGA forums who need help from tech wise Nintendo fans like, routerbad 3Dude and Plutonas to school the haters and renew hope in the Wii U there, Please help them guys!
I don't think providing fodder or conducting response trolling is the solution. If the official SEGA forums, a community set up to augment sales, is unwilling or unable to moderate their boards properly, shame on them.

I wouldn't mind a Pokemon/Dragon Quest-like RPG with slightly darker visuals, like Metroid or Twilight Princess.
I very much hope that the newest Dragon Quest hits North American shores.

What everyone else said. I just had to reaffirm the fact that the Wii U is extremely backwards compatible for Wii hard and software since, apparently, it will be the only next-generation console to honor their customer base's previous transactions, digital or otherwise.

This was only the case with the Wii. Every other Nintendo platform has seen the release of new IP's from some of their biggest developers. Pikmin was a great addition for the GC, Perfect Dark, Conker, etc for N64, Starfox for the SNES. That's only the bigger ones, obviously there have been more, but I just wanted to point out that only the Wii saw a new IP drought from their larger development teams.
I'm hoping Nintendo comes with some new IP's to go along with the star power that their established franchises have. Nintendo used to have Rare, they have Retro now, along with Monolithsoft, and hopefully in the future platinum games that make great games and have the ability to develop new IP's.
I totally hear what you are saying, and don't get me wrong: I am loving the Wii U.
In regards to new IPs, we aren't talking about historic Nintendo tendencies, here. If that was the case, we could compare today to the fantastic IP runs on the NES. The market and the very industry has radically changed since then. So, I would agree that the Wii generation was when the IP draught really came to a head. Here is the thing, though. The Wii was released back in 2006. We are talking about nearly a decade of Nintendo developers competing in the market share (largely) unable to introduce competitive new IPs.
"...only the Wii..." may be understating the matter when keeping in mind how long the Wii generation has been around.

Not at the moment. The good news, however, is that you should after next week's firmware update. The "catch" will be that you will need to pay a buck to convert the version you have on the Wii's Virtual Console to operate like the Wii U version.
Since you already purchased the Wii U version for 30 cents, it may just be worth building up new save files. Put it this way: Is your old saves for Kirby's Adventure worth a dollar?
