So.. little follow up. As I said, I had the basic version all wrapped under my tree.. well tonight, while in Walmart, I laid my eyes on a lonely deluxe version of the Wii U. I stood there for a few minutes & thought hard about it.. ended up getting the boyfriend to go home, unwrap the Wii U I had (white basic edition) & return it. So now I have the deluxe edition wrapped under my tree. WAH, I want to open it now. SUCH A TEASE!

I've been following numerous sites/tweets about how the Wii U freezes at times & seems to be a common problem. This kinda makes me nervous. Is this as big of a problem as I read it to be? Is this hardware related or something that can be fixed with a future update?

White basic one. I figure for $299 I could get a game I really wanted with the difference. If I want Nintendoland down the road, I'm sure I can find it cheaper. I don't need the cradle really & I already have a external hard drive.

I'm Lindsey from east coast Canada. I'm 28 as of today actually! I have been so excited for the release of Nintendo's new console. I currently have a basic white version wrapped under my Christmas tree. It's awful having to wait almost another month. Wah! Looking forward to reading up on these forums & posting.
