I actually agree with alot of what the op has said. But to complain about a lack of games seems a bit silly as we have known for a while what the release schedule was. The only reall issue atm is the long load times and freezing issues. The issue in the long run could be a lack of power and third party support (like what happened to the wii).

The Black Ops 2 campaign is shorter then the Black Ops 1 campaign. There however are multiple endings and thus arguably more replay value (I don't think there is though as a result of how it is handled).

If you want a tense single player experience ZombiU is the better choice from what I have played. If you want multiplayer/coop action that is fast paced then Black Ops 2 obviously wins, although it isn't for everyone.

I will also add ZombiU apparently only lasts around 10 hours and then there are different difficulty modes and a local multiplayer mode and thus could be seen to lack content. Black Ops 2 has a short campaign, but will no doubt have you spending more time with it in the mp and coop modes. Also, I know you didn't ask, but from what I have played of AC3 on pc, it is well worth checking out.

LittleBig Planer, Gravity Rush, Persona 4 Gold, Uncharted GA and the list goes on. Vita is a very underrated console atm and will be as to the 3ds as the psp was to the ds. Meaning it will do well but it will not sell anywhere near as well. Only imho of course.

Powerwise it is disappointing and much like the wiiu is not as powerful as it was originally hinted to be. Hwoever it is small and excellent if you travel semi-regularly. I just can't see any non nintendo hand held doing extremely well in a world with ipads etc.

To me Boiware giving away 7 free dlcs,
is plenty of free giveaways, probably too much.

After the ending we initially got, Bioware can't do enough to make up for that travesty.

I think the OP needs to understand neither is better as whilst Playstation All Stars Battle Royale is iterative, it ultimately plays very differently despite on the surface looking extremely similar.

Yeah they really did blow that one. The thing is as soon as we heard Nihilistic got that project the writing was on the wall for that game. i know it wasn't Sony's responsibility to oversee that project since it was an Activision game, but given the boost that it could have given the Vita, I blame them for not being more involved to make sure it went well. When the Vita came out people were excited about the prospect of FPS' on the go, and now all that hope falls on Killzone.

To be fair that means they have put all the hope of the fps on vita on Guerrilla Games and Cambridge Studios. Not a bad move in my eyes. If they can pull a Killzone 2 quality game, or even Killzone 3 (especially visually) it could really help sales. I still think it needs a Monster Hunter or similar for Japan to care.

It is an RPG (Sort of action RPG) it is suppose to be a more story driven title. Next who said anything about all games and genres should explain a story? (I sure didn't) On to of that how can you compare a RPG to shooter or sports game? Shooters usually have no story to tell and if it does there not grand anyway (The mindset is to just shoot things & not think to much) & sports games are not suppose to have a story to begin with. (The idea of these games are not to have a story. This way the player can sort of manage a team to their liking and change history per se. I doubt many people would play these games if they had to play a losing game).

I agree with what you are getting at, but there are many shooters that have excellent stories.

Rage 2 is not happening at the moment. ID are working entirely on Doom 4, this has been confirmed and stated several times. If Rage 2 happens, it will be after Doom 4 is released. I would however expect Doom 4 to have a showing, unless it is way behind schedule in which case it will be shown of at Quake Con (we will have a Doom 4 within a decade after Doom 3 ID has said). EA has also made statements that means Mirrors Edge 2 is not on it way anytime soon.

I also doubt Nintendo will announce a Mario, Zelda and Metroid game, at least not all for one system (maybe for both the 3ds and wiiU combined, but even then I find that doubtful).

if Bethesda cames out with a anew rage I'm gonna hurt them, it was a awful game when compared to Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Rage was an fps, not an rpg. So why the comparisons? Also it isn't made by bethesda, it is only published by Bethesda. In all honesty though, you haven't truly experienced Rage until you have played it on pc on the hardest difficulty mode (I have also finished it on console and it just isn't the same).

A new NFS has been released every year for around 14 years. I wouldn't expect that to change any time soon.

Letho from the Witcher 2. At first seems generic but as you learn more about him throughout the game that makes a dramatic turn for the better. One of the most complex 'villains' in any medium.

I don't get it - all the bad stuff people were saying about it before launch..like the bad frames and all that jazz...the game sounds and plays fine..I think its the best version yet.

Sorry the PC version is notably better.

Not sure about on the wiiU (as it is still coming to Australia). But on pc it is 2.9gb. Expect it to be smaller then that though on wiiU.

I will say even if this is a bad port, if it is the only way you can play ME3 then get it. It is well worth you time and money.

I really enjoyed RE6. I will likely pick it up on pc when it is released there as well. Doubt the wiiU can offer the upgrade the pc release likely will.

Op, you seriously gave this game a 9.5/10 for graphics? I now such numbers are arbitrary in nature, but this game has terrible textures and character models are well below par. In fact it falls behind ps3 launch games like Resistance in many areas from a visual perspective. Great game so far, but disappointing visuals.

That is rather amazing. As for zombiU I don't think you will be able to play it as there is much more to it then aiming and shooting (it is more about picking your fights and inventory management which I don't think would be fun to do with one hand as the game doesn't pause when you go into your inventory).

Fair enough, I thought I should just clarify for those wondering.

Kind of why I said, "Shooters usually" Never said there was none with a story, but that there are far more with little to no story than ones with stories.

Personally, I would rather see them invest the time and money into a new IP. Than paying to port this game over to the Wii U to have another high price on another game port. Not to mention is was released not that long ago (yes a good while, but nothing like some of the revamped HD collections), so ideally speaking it would not be a great investment. Specially when they still have the Wii copies sitting on store shelves & the Wii U capable of playing Wii titles. Perhaps a remake of this in say the Wii O or what ever Nintendo may call it in ten to twenty years.

Given I can already make it run it at 1080p on my pc, all they would need to do is implement some better textures (then again zombiU didn't ) and new net code. I would however much prefer twilight princess/skyward sword made playable in 1080p (either via a patch allowing the wiiU to render wii games at 1080p or via a rerelease on the wiiU). Honestly take a look at some pictures of the games at 1080p via the dolphin emulator and say that wouldn't be awesome to be able to do on the wiiU (and the wiiU does have the power to do it).

I enjoyed it too.... I grew up with Resident Evil and prefer the early survival horror games way more, but I still thought 6 was decent. I'd rather play some ZombiU though.

At the time I preferred the older games, but by todays standards they simply have not aged well for me and RE4, 5 and 6 would all get notably better scores from a blind test with people who had never heard of the series before. All imo of course.

Just wondering what are everyone's favorite RE games? Mine would go RE4, RE6 then Revelations. Though at the time it was released RE2 would have been my favorite (but once again has not aged well for me).
