Dublin or Belfast could be really good.
I like the idea of a more open plan london, it's a vast city of contrasts so there is plenty of scope.
Also Normandy is a good idea, Mont Saint-Micheal would be a perfect setting.

...that or Zombi U2 (Bono eats brains), I wonder what happen to Zombi A-T?
Whatever they call a sequel if they did make one where should it be set?
As a Londoner I loved the accuracy of the setting and quite frankly it made it all the more scary.
Off season Venice would be creepy (See the film Don't Look Now).
As the Developers are French I suspect they would opt for Paris.

It seems like there will no 'great leap forward' for the next generation, just more polished product.
Which is no bad thing for nintendo as they'll be making the greatest leap encouraging upgrading from the Wii.
I haven't seen any next gen footage that has blown me away yet.

It seems like every piece of bad news is treated like it alone will bring down Nintendo. The 360 survived the ring of death, how much worse can it get than a massive fail rate.
It seem to me that these constant panic are based of a few misconceptions.
a) The next gen console race has begun.
Nintendo will be competing on the same basis
c) Nintendo will collapse if Wii U doesn't sell massive amount in the first twelve months.
The reality is that Microsoft haven't even announced their console and the PS4 isn't due till Xmas and even after that it'll take time for them develop next gen games. Nintendo have a huge headstart to settle in, build an installed base, lower manufacturing costs, develop the OS, build a software library and of course learn who to best utilise the hardware.
That said it won't be competing in exactly the same way just like with the Wii it'll find it's own niche. In twelve month time if it still isn't selling well, well they still have the successful 3DS and plenty of Yen in the bank to bail them out!

Good games (advertised) + Easter Break + Price Cuts show the way.
Summer holidays should help.

Don't Panic!
Nintendo have hardly run out of options yet!
They can still cut the price and/or create new bundles. They might even consider some advertising!!!!!
Timing is everything so I'm expecting they'll take action both before the School Holidays and again before the Holiday season.
Even by the end of 2013 Nintendo still have room to manoeuvre.
Games are coming, Pikmin, Need for Speed, Watchdogs, Assassins creed 4, Wonderful 101, Lego titles and I suspect a few surprises before the end of the year
In the style of MH3 Ninty may have to grind this generation but the 3DS a slow start doesn't spell doom.

I think some Nintendo fans need to be more realistic in their expectations. The Wii U is once again like the GC, Wii, DS and 3DS not trying to compete in a power war with it's contemporaries. This strategy on one hand make's it less likely to attract ports on the other hand makes it attractive to a different audience.
You may not get the latest COD but you will attract developers look to target its specific target audience.
What worries me currently is the price and lack of decent advertising. Both things that can be fixed. When we they know what the others are offering then we'll hopefully see a change in approach.

It's certainly true that the Wii U isn't complete yet, TVii hasn't been launched in Europe and no Virtual Console. The article rings true to me.

3 months to e3.
3 months to Nintendo giving people some reasons to buy the console.
Really is something that it's not out-selling 6 year old crap, you'd think everyone who wanted one of those would already have them.
I suspect they is an expectation the PS4/Xbox720 will be stupidly expensive and you might as well wait a few years as the current Gen system are still putting out lots of games. I wonder how many of those sales are replacements for faulty consoles!
The Wii U is defiantly a HUGE upgrade from the Wii, The PS4 just looks like a less annoying PS3. We don't even have a date for the next Xbox.
Once all the dates/specs/prices are known for the Next gen I imagine the current gen sales will drop off as people decided to hold out.

they would say that halo is old news and that they are waiting for destiny lol
Nintendo could turn lead into gold and Patcher would predict disappoint sales of lead based products.

The Off-screen play was a big factor. I had a Wii but wanted to trade it in while it was still worth something and wanted to experience owning a console from the day of release. I've not regretted it all. Being able to play VC games off screen has been great.
The slow pace off new games hasn't bothered me as I had a few Wii games left to complete as well enjoying some of the exclusive and ported titles. I don't own any other consoles so ported titles having already been out didn't effect me, just a chance to check out what the fuss was all about.
It reminds me of gaming on the Megadrive as a kid when I unable to afford new games, it's been nice to really get into a game rather than constantly half completing titles.

I was born and live in the UK and I can say with utmost certanty that 99% of gamers over here are soulless drones, anyone who argues this point congratulations your in the 1% of decent UK gamers. It's all CoD and bloody Fifa over here
As a fellow Uk'er I feel that's a touch harsh but their is an element of truth that those two franchise dominate the market.
It's positive on one hand that the Video Game consoles are not just nerd fodder in the UK but a social norm for young men, but that does result in the dominance of the aforementioned titles.
Although not on a Japanese scale there is a UK consumer base interested in more varied game experiences.
