#42377 the two tablet problem will it make you not want to buy one?

Posted by Randomite on 16 November 2011 - 05:10 PM in Wii U Hardware

I really think Local Multiplayer is a thing of the past to be honest (unfortunately) and as such I am not to bothered how many tablets are supported as I'd only really need one, at a push two.

#42376 Super Mario 3D Land promoting animal cruelty?

Posted by Randomite on 16 November 2011 - 04:52 PM in General Gaming

PETA lost all credibility of their cause when they exploited womens rights when promoting their cause.

#41551 WiiU Trophy/Achievement system

Posted by Randomite on 10 November 2011 - 09:37 AM in Wii U Hardware

While I do think it is a great idea, I still feel the achievement system is flawed in terms of gaming companies abusing the achievement systems to get a bit more logevity out of their games by making players grind the hell out of a game for one meaningless achievement (Gears of War a prime example). If Nintendo can incorperate an achievement system where the achievements pertain to the actual game and make the experience all the more rewarding than stupid grinding for achievements then I am all for it.

Oh and keep Online achievements to a minimum...Saves people complaining should a game server get shut down in the future.

#41412 Shenmue 3?

Posted by Randomite on 09 November 2011 - 01:55 PM in General Gaming

I was so close to buying another copy of Shenmue I and II for my Dreamcast like || that close. I instead opted for a VGA box for my Dreamcast, Shenmue will be next :)

#40859 Steve Jobs more Influential then Miyamoto, What!?

Posted by Randomite on 04 November 2011 - 11:15 AM in General Gaming

No love for SEGA :( they did produce the first online console and even introduced trigger buttons and this one here is a bit controversial where the first games console to sucessfully use motion controls with the Samba Di Amigo Maraccas (I am aware that the Nintendo had the power glove, but that hardly worked).

#40763 Shenmue 3?

Posted by Randomite on 03 November 2011 - 11:10 AM in General Gaming

The Shenmue series is in my all time top 5, just need 3 to be made and I will be happy.

#40760 Late 2012 PS360 Games That Should Be For The Wii U

Posted by Randomite on 03 November 2011 - 10:28 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Guys, I said LATE 2012 PS360 games. Bioshock Infinite isn't coming Q3 or Q4, and CoD, Metal Gear Solid HD, Mass Effect 3, and SoulCalibur V aren't coming at that time either.

The point is to have as few late ports as possible, so gamers won't feel like the Wii U will be a 'port machine.' I mean, think about it. Why wait for the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham City when you can get it for the Playstation 3?

However, there will be the late ports, like the mentioned Arkham City.

Unfortunately I find the only guaranteed game late next year will be the next rendition of Call of Duty, which personally I'd rather not see.

I opted for the default avatar, mainly due to the fact I haven't been bothered to upload an avatar.

Le sigh

#40472 What games would you like to see make an HD remake or revived on the Wii U

Posted by Randomite on 01 November 2011 - 08:22 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Remakes Shenmue I and II which could leave to the final chapter in the series...One could only wish for such a thing :(

#40471 Late 2012 PS360 Games That Should Be For The Wii U

Posted by Randomite on 01 November 2011 - 08:12 AM in Wii U Games and Software

BioShock Infinite, by far my most anticipated game next year.

#40470 Should Zelda have their own line sports game

Posted by Randomite on 01 November 2011 - 08:00 AM in Wii U Games and Software

No, Nintendo are doing well enough with their Mario spin offs...What would be the benefit of creating two of the same sport game and just changing the name from Mario to Zelda...However if hyperthetically they opted to make Zelda sports games differant to the Mario series then maybe it could work.

#40468 Can you imagine Mario with PS3 graphics?

Posted by Randomite on 01 November 2011 - 07:53 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I really don't know why people think that because the horse power is now there Mario will instantly be changed into some ultra realistic character for the system. Games like Braid, Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts and Ratchet and Clank have shown that there is still a market place for (for lack of a better word) cartooney style games such as Mario.

#20823 COD MW3 Wii U

Posted by Randomite on 12 August 2011 - 11:08 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I'd rather see Activision publish a remake of Singularity...It was in my opinion a much better game, but unfortunately never got the recognition it deserved in comparison to other FPS's.

#19619 Some Good RPG'S and Racing Games That should come to the WiiU.

Posted by Randomite on 07 August 2011 - 10:59 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I thought of something else to add, though it a loosely an RPG I guess but Shenmue III (one can hope anyway).

#19617 Some Good RPG'S and Racing Games That should come to the WiiU.

Posted by Randomite on 07 August 2011 - 10:43 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Those titles themselves aren't going to happen.

Gran Turismo is a Sony franchise.
Forza Motorsports is a Microsoft franchise.

But I do believe we need a Nintendo franchise to rival them. And not something like F-Zero. That's great, but it's fantasy driven. Nintendo shouldn't be too upset if they can develop a really good motorsports/rally simulator, that did very good competition to those titles. It doesn't have to be racing car based either. They could probably throw in ATVs and motorbikes. In fact, they could give it that Nintendo feel by having multiple different vehicle types race against each other simultaneously.

I know that Nintendo has Wave Race, F-Zero and Mario Kart (which I'd prefer to have bikes from now on, Luigi's Mach Bike for the win!), but a Nintendo branded realistic game wouldn't hurt. And it doesn't have to be racing, anything really.

Oh I realise they are exclusive to their respective console, but when I said something like I meant something familiar to those sort of franchises in terms of depth and customisability etc.

As people are listing I thought I would also add to the list

RPG's

Valkyria Chronicles
Lost Odyssey
Skies of Arcadia (sequel)

Racing

Something like a Gran Tourismo or Forza

#19463 What's the point of next gen consoles?

Posted by Randomite on 06 August 2011 - 02:36 PM in Wii U Hardware

Am I the only person who doesn't see what the big deal is about the iPhone and iPad? To me Apple are actually worse than Capcom and Activision for whoring out their products.

#14456 Why I'm not even slightly excited about the Wii U.

Posted by Randomite on 14 July 2011 - 10:50 AM in Wii U Hardware

Yes, because it would be especially big, clunky and heavy if were made of air.

Clearly you missed the whole part where I was joking, right?

#14164 Why I'm not even slightly excited about the Wii U.

Especially if you never played it.

Maybe he had an air Wii U controller, I mean I know a lot of people who have air guitars myself included. Maybe Nintendo are trying to tap into that market too by releasing such a device.

#13449 Minecraft for Wii U

Posted by Randomite on 10 July 2011 - 05:56 AM in Wii U Games and Software

To be honest I think Minecraft on 360 is a bad idea let alone having it oin the Wii U. My general reasoning is the belief that those who want to play Minecraft would already be doing so on the PC.

#13448 Should Nintendo Partner with Capcom once more?

Posted by Randomite on 10 July 2011 - 05:52 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Milking what franchises? I don't think sequels and spin-offs mean ports y'know?
All companies do ports, and i don't think Capcom is a particularly bad company for doing this. Ever heard of Ubisoft?
I feel they should work together again, but not on an existing franchise, I feel that ship has sailed. A completely new game, with the awesome Miyamoto San's brain behind it with a colaboration between Nintendo and Capcom would make for a very interesting (and hopefully) awesome end product. A new RPG would be good!

Lets take for example this generations game Street Fighter 4, now 3 itterations of the same game with a few added people (which could easily have been DLC) I would say is milking a Franchise. Remakes of Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica for XBLA and PSN once again I would say is milking a franchise.

#13447 JOIN Operation Oil

Posted by Randomite on 10 July 2011 - 05:38 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Capcom don't shy away from milking a franchise of theirs and so I really think we will see a version of Street Fighter on the Wii U.

#12396 What Would You Do If the Wii U Was Released NOW?

Posted by Randomite on 05 July 2011 - 03:54 AM in Wii U Hardware

It depends on what my financial situation is, if I have no pennies I will have to wait.

#12297 Third-Party Love

Posted by Randomite on 04 July 2011 - 01:39 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I am looking forward to Aliens and Metro...I really enjoyed the first Metro game, I hope they fix the problems the original had.

#12256 Should Nintendo Partner with Capcom once more?

Posted by Randomite on 04 July 2011 - 10:53 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I don't think you read the first post.

I did, hence why I put at the beginning I do not know of this close work they have done in the past. I'm just of the opinion that Capcom would be for lack of a better word too busy milking their franchises by porting them to Wii U for them to even consider partnering again at least not right away.
