Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) It's more a tactical RPG but an RPG none the less and I dare say the best game I have played this console generation.

I'd have to say console fanboys in general, regardless of what console one uses...A prime example is on these forums with the whole tablet controller idea. A lot of the fanboys are like "Oh Sony/Microsoft are copying Nintendo" etc etc. I don't see how one set of console fanboy is worse as to be honest they are all as bad as each other.

Other than that I would have to say COD fanboys are terrible...They seem to believe any other FPS is carp (sorry if I cannot swear) and COD invented the FPS genre which is ridiculous.

While I do think it is a great idea, I still feel the achievement system is flawed in terms of gaming companies abusing the achievement systems to get a bit more logevity out of their games by making players grind the hell out of a game for one meaningless achievement (Gears of War a prime example). If Nintendo can incorperate an achievement system where the achievements pertain to the actual game and make the experience all the more rewarding than stupid grinding for achievements then I am all for it.

Oh and keep Online achievements to a minimum...Saves people complaining should a game server get shut down in the future.

I'm in the minority and picked Wii 2, despite it's lack of originality I think this is the better name on the list. Wii as a name is a strong seller amongst the console market, th3e sales of the Wii prove it sold well...Adding the 2 shows the consumer it is the next console. I can't see Nintendo using a console name other than Wii [insert name here] mainly due to the sales the original Wii made in comparison to previous consoles such as Gamecube, N64 etc etc.

I would like SEGA to make a Valkyria Chronicles game for the Wii U...It was very under appreciated on the PS3 and I personally don't feel a game this Epic should be left on the hand held (PSP) system.

i so agree with you here. if nintendo had made this move with Wii it would have gotten more life with it. also sony would have had no shot at releasing ps move. nintendo would have sold over 100 million wii's already

I do happen to disagree, I think if Nintendo went down the power route (despite having the Wii mote) I feel they would of struggled. One of the big pluses for the Wii was it was affordable (in my opinion) and adding the likes of HDMI components and making the console run at 720p would of ramped the price up, thus making the Wii somewhat less appealing.

It depends on what they reveal it to have under the hood so to speak, if it is not powerful by much (in comparison to PS3 and Xbox 360) I would expect between £225 and £250...I feel they have to be competitive and lure 360 and PS3 fans away if the rumours are true and both Sony and Microsoft are looking towards the next generation.

It was a problem which SEGA had trouble with for the Dreamcast, while it was competitively priced, people opted to wait for the PS2,

I sure hope they bring out a headset, the last thing I'd want anyone to hear is the F bomb being screamed out of my TV or some little kid screaming out "Raped" over and over because his team won an online game. Not that I know what Nintendo online gamers are like, I'm basing this on my Xbox live experience.

Please tell me I am not the only one who would rather see a sequel to Bully, don't get me wrong I do like GTA I just think Bully is a great game and if they use the same engine to power GTA IV or whatever happens to be new at the time I really do think it will be an amazing alternative to GTA.

I respectfully disagree. nintendo needs to make this happen. without a true 3rd party hardcore title in the launch window that ps360 doesnt have and cant run.... the so call hardcore nintendo is trying to win back is going to laugh at this console. just my opinion.

The thing is, I don't think we will see a third party exclusive from launch from companies such as Rockstar, Bethesda etc etc. The reason being these companies have had commercial sucess on the 360 and PS3, it would be a huge risk to put all their eggs into one basket so to speak. That being said I can see SEGA or Capcom possibly doing such a thing, mainly due in part to their sucess on the Wii with exclusive games...Which brings me to the point where I'd sugest Virtual Fighter VI...I say this is for the following reasons.

1) There is still a massive void in market for a fighting game on the Nintendo console. Don't get me wrong I like Smash Brothers but in terms of depth the VF series is one of the most deepest fighting games (if not the deepest) created in most recent times.
2) There is still a huge VF following around the world, myself included...Should the game be made exclusive to one console I am fairly certain the following will also be inclined to pick up a console.

I highly doubt the next gen will be that big of a jump from this gen in terms of power and graphics. I'd imagine that if Sony and Microsoft took anything from the commercial sucess of Nintendo's Wii it would be more power does not instantly mean more money made. I predict the upcoming gen will not be too much difference between companies in terms of graphical capabilities as I don't think 3D gaming is properly ready to be taken to the next level on home consoles just yet (as I would imagine that is going to be the next major progression in gaming).

The one problem with EA (and I am basing this on my experience with my 360) is that they shut their servers down, sometimes a mere couple of months after the game has been released (Army of Two: The 40th Day springs to mind). They really need to do something to that in my opinion...

Maybe he had an air Wii U controller, I mean I know a lot of people who have air guitars myself included. Maybe Nintendo are trying to tap into that market too by releasing such a device.

Hardest: Also of Shmup's like Radient Silvergun, Bangai - O etc etc

Easiest: Avatar: The Burning Earth (Xbox 360): I found it easy based on the ease it was to get the full 1000 gamerscore, after I felt uninspired to even continue the game Alot of Shmup's likafter reaching the game score (sad I know, but true)

I really don't see the point in giving the username section some gimmicky name, Username, Game Tag or something like that is perfectly fine...Giving it some randome name for it would just give the Sony and Microsoft fanboys a chance to use the whole "Nintendo with another gimmick" argument, only this to me would be very gimmicky.

What I'd like is to see Nintendo giving us a good online experience rather than worrying about what to call the username section.
