on a recent trip to best buy i noticed they sell monster wii u hdmi cables.

Has anyone tried it?

is it worth it? 

Can any hdmi cable work with the wii u?

$50 for a cable is steep for me considering how much i just dropped on my new system, but i'm always looking for that perfect picture/sound

of course id buy it. who cares about the OTHER consoles?(sorry). yes ive been very disappointed by the cheaper games i got on the wii, like ghostbusters and wwe 13, but i love nintendo and must have all things mario and zelda. over the years ive been tempted to get a different console, but it would be just to play the batman and star wars games i missed. oh well, a trip to Hyrule always cured those ills!

i finished TP and i play wwe 13 all the time and i must say they look much better. 50 " plasma. i regret not making the wii to u transfer sooner

well, i've been wanting them to do this with mario kart. think of all the tracks, all the karts, at least 50 characters. im down

(my opinion now,sorry) i sincerely hate Facebook, social media, etc. i think it's really ruining lots of things from people's lives in general all the way up to my wrestling shows. having gotten that off my chest..... i love miiverse! check mine all the time. it was a good idea to be able to share thoughts/pics on new and old favorite games. isn't this what Nintendo kind of is nowadays? the brand for the "rest of us?" 

wow. while doing a little research on purchasing said y cable, i stumbled across Nintendo's website, i had no idea i couldn't just hook up my hd i've been using to backup pics and music from my mac. according to nintendos website, while formatting the device, everything on it would be erased. looks like i'll be buying a new one for this project. btw, how many different types of y cables are there? im confusing myself

a momemtum meter would help too. it just gets plain boring reversing reversals over and over. winning every match isnt challenging in the universe mode. it was a good game that could have been great it needs some help

i have a lot to say on this one as i only have the wii version

 EVERYTHING i missed for having the nintendo version as in DLC, better graphics, intros that actually work, achievements, the ability to fully use whatever controller i wanted.

now thats out of the way.... The Shield, the ability to assign managers to wrestlers(not just before the match), Paul E. i really liked the limb target system, maybe expand on that some

ive been looking over old posts for an answer and really can't find the ones i need so here goes..

im starting to download lots of VC titles for my wii u and im looking to back up the purchases, i have a 500 GB Toshiba HD, not powered. just usb cable coming out

1. will it work with my wii u

2. will it cause problems

3. does it have to be left plugged in at all times (i don't like this much)

4. are the games just copied to it, or are they moved to it and run off of it 

5. are the games backed up automatically or do i have to tell the wii u to do it

No i dont have an iPhone. that said, from the outside looking in (not bashin just sayin) have you ever watched some of these smartphone folks closely? They are hopelessly hooked on these silly little fonky glitched out games. i work with 50 year old men who go hide to play all manner of games from angry birds to zombie 18 wheeler something or other. These are the same folks who all my life teased that i like mario, zelda, etc. Now throw out a few small mario titles, Star Fox, F-Zero and let them see what quality Nintendo brings. We all know Nintendo is waaayy behind, I don't see cutting loose a few games in the app store being a bad thing.

my only regret with Pacman World 2= I never finished it. this game looks really cool. ive learned that the most fun is sometimes had with these whimsical platformers that don't take things too seriously(see: Klonoa)

Batman TAS is to this day still better than today's cartoons and most movies. "Robin's Reckoning" was a great episode as well. For me Justice League is a very close second. i loved the fact that they used John Stewart over Hal Jordan to get a fresh look

i got my wii u points card to download SMW, i thought about how i never played Yoshi's Island. Does anyone agree we should be treated to this on VC soon? Any rumors? And to anybody who has played it-would you suggest it to me? yes i have mario fever, collected most of his games etc. It's just one of those games on my list

im loving it. i thought the 3ds coin gimmick would be silly but i really enjoyed it. in NSMB U when i got picked up in an airship with SMB 3 music playing i really got excited. i just wish they would incorporate some SMB2 in the mix. let me pick out of a few different characters who do different things. id love to bust bowser with Waluigi

Metroid, Starfox, F-Zero, A boy and his Blob

i dont know about sales figures, but i feel the consoles have been behind since the GC. i loved it but there was so many games I couldn't get so i had to have PS2 along with it. I had a blast with the wii, but it really is what the GC should have been, and now the wii u feels like what the wii should have been. Im patient, i know the games will come, but seriously, please do something fresh. How great of a game would Metroid, F-Zero and Starfox all be on this awesome HD console?

of course smw and earthbound, but am i the only one a lil disappointed in the $8 price tag? a lot of us have these games in numerous forms, plus I'm still tripped out smw wasnt included in the rerelease of super mario all stars. complaints aside, i cant wait to see more gba releases
