As Socalmuscle above said, it uses an Intel Jaguar CPU, which is a low-end CPU used by budget PC's.
The Jaguar is an AMD APU... http://en.wikipedia....ing_Unit#Jaguar

APU is a marketing term for CPU and GPU on one die.
Yes I know this, but for simplicity sake I just called it an APU. ![]()

...Intel Atom had more in common with Pentium 3 than Core...
The "Core" series are based upon the Pentium M arch, which in turn is based on the PIII arch. Both Atom and "Core" series are semi related.

Wii U Games and Software Help
Overall I'm quite satisfied with the OS for only owning the console for a few days. The Miiverse integration is awesome and I love seeing all the posts and amazing sketches from people all around the world.
The ambient music/jingles are a BIG step up from the original Wii's menu music and channel themes; they sound like actual songs now instead of chipped music and are a lot less prone to cause headaches (in my case). I love how on some titles/apps the music coming from the TV and gamepad are not the same, but work together to make a really nice sounding song; I actually turn the console on just for the music sometimes (I wish Miiverse music lasted way longer...).
Now I know the system is not without it's flaws. I have had to cut the power from the console a few times due to system lockups, but that's not surprising due to the systems age as of now. Give it time and let the system flourish!
I couldn't get the remote feature to work with my Insignia 32" so I haven't really messed with TVii a whole lot...
I can't wait to try out the chat feature and get my hands on some Virtual Console titles! I never played VC on the original Wii but I think It just seems right this time around with the gamepad and all.
Holding my breath for the Spring update! What new unannounced features do you think Nintendo will add to the system besides the obvious speed improvements and added Miiverse functionality?

I've often wondered about this myself. Skype seems like a perfect fit. I really want to try out the chat feature with someone to see how the camera performs. IDK about FB or Twitter, I think Nintendo will stick with Miiverse for a while. I've often thought about a Pandora app also, I think that would be pretty neat.

Deluxe for me, made the most sense. I was already getting Nintendo Land, so the $350 price already cut off $10 from the price. Plus the addition of 32GB, the Deluxe Digital Promotion, and extra stands were all worth it for me.
^^^ This. Deluxe here. ![]()

Wii U Hardware
Hi! Most games that are comming out still have support for the original WiiMotes and other Wii contollers/accesories. In the box you get an iR bar like the original Wii.
Also the Wii U can boot into what most people call vWii Mode (Virtual Wii Mode) so you can still play all your old Wii games. There's even a data transfer utility to put all your save games and WiiWare on the new console.
In the update thats coming out you'll be about to boot right into vWii mode by holding the B button the the gamepad.
As of right now the only game that still extensively uses the WiiMote in Wii U mode is Nintendoland. And boy it's fun!
Hopefully I covered some questions ![]()

I am happy to live in an area where people are tolerant to other races and my sexual orientation. I have a sister who is a devout Christian (I'm Agnostic) and we talk for hours about The Bible or God/Jesus. She is the best sister anyone could have. It really took a lot of guts to come out and everyone excepted me as I was, which I found surprising lol.
Just my little input. ![]()

Annoyingly the wii u only allows one output socket to be used at a time. So you can't have analogue audio with digital video. An earlier firmware enabled wii sound over analogue and video over hdmi but a later firmware removed this.
Wow that seems like a really stupid move on Nintys part, they should add that back in so people could use a separate amplifier system.

Its funny that the first ever metal gear game was actually on a nintendo console lol.
The first Metal Gear was actually on the MSX in Japan, the American NES port is far inferior to the original in terms of translation, graphics, story progression, and overall quality.

I've noticed most homosexuals flaunt it around and mention every chance they get, as well as who they are attracted to.
Kinda gets annoying. Don't really care if you're gay, just keep me out of it.
I don't see why homosexuals shouldn't have the equivalent to marriage.... who cares.
I DO have a problem with gay sex though... It does nothing but give a chance of spreading illness.
Yeah I'm gay but I hate people who are like that. I have a friend that does that and it gets rather annoying (hes gay too). Also I'm not flamboyant and you wouldn't know I was gay unless I told you.
And gay sex transmits diseases? So does strait sex. Whats the difference?

I have about 23 older Macs from before the intel transition. I use my PowerMac G5 all the time lol. This new Pro design is just fugly, but I can see what they're talking about because the G5 gets hot like no other, so this could be a good cooling idea.
