The name of a project my Dad worked on years ago- it sounded cool so I took the name.

It's also the name of a village in Ireland.

I doubt that the PS4 and NeXtBox will be THAT much more powerful than what the U is packing so we won't get screwed with multiplatform releases like we did with the wii. (at least I hope so)

I played Pikmin New Play Control on the Wii and absolutely loved it! But I kept holding off on getting Pikmin 2 since I wanted to get the wii version. I hope they release a Pikmin trilogy for the U.

I've never played a Star Fox game... but I will be getting the remake for the 3DS! I'm really excited about it. Miyamoto did mention in an interview one time that he always disappointed that StarFox 2 had to be shelved. The 3DS remake could be a sign the series is ready for a comeback!

I don't care. I have a PS3 to play the bluray dvds I get and to occasionally play games on. I want the Wii U to be for games and games alone. It would probably drive up costs anyway.

Update:

Super 8 was pretty good. Not great. I have no desire to see it again but I enjoyed it for what it was.

Cars 2 was a huge disappointment-very mediocre. I wasn't expecting much but still... it's Pixar's worst film by a landslide.

I've seen Kung Fu Panda 2. Might see Super 8. Definitely going to go see winnie the Pooh since I'm a big fan of traditional animation.

The Conduit was fun, but I think the Wii U really needs more 3rd Party support, because it could end up like the Wii. When was the last time Nintendo had a lot of 3rd Party support? N64?

I think it was SNES. Nintendo lost a lot of third party support on the N64 when it kept cartridges instead of switching to discs.

I've been wondering why [(Insert 3rd party name here)] would make The Conduit on the Wii when other consoles would be better suited(Don't get me wrong I love it on my shelf) due to it's HD and hardware capabilities. If they plan on making The Conduit an all time exclusive this could be really good for Nintendo since there aren't many exclusives that would appeal to the "Hardcore" gamer of the Ps360 and a exclusive like this could change that. What do you think?

I think they have potential but in order to differentiate themselves from the rest of the scifi FPS's out there- they should make The Conduit 3 (or whatever it may be called) a parody by making it as ridiculous as possible.

SKYWARD SWORD. It looks like a fresh, new take on the zelda franchise.

I liked Twilight Princess but it was way too formulaic in my opinion.

It doesn't really matter to me as long as the controls work. I never had a problem with the wiimote despite the many complaints and I doubt I'll have a problem with the U.

I'm just the messenger so don't fire; do you remember the sequel to Goldeneye developed by EA, "Rouge Agent"? It's possible for any company to milk anything regardless of it being good or not. The game was eventually ported to the PS2 and a sequel was in development using the Multiplayer Mechanics of "Halo: Combat Evolved" but was scrapped due to poor sales.

What the? What game is featured on that 3DS? (Sorry, but I'm completely unfamiliar with Golden Eye.)

For most disappointing, I would have to say Monster Hunter Tri on the wii - traded it in for Trauma Team and haven't looked back since.
