Thanks for your input, troll.  Regardless of what you think, the Wii U is in the 8th generation of gaming consoles.  Next gen it is, irrespective of capability, clock speeds, FLOPS, etc.

I doubt it, Nintendo has too much of a large fan base for that. I think once Nintendo releases more first party titles the system will sell more. Since hopefully by this holiday season we'll have the new 3D Mario/Mario Kart game, the system should sell more. Even with the new Yoshi yarn type game, Pikmin, and some far future titles like Super Smash Bros, I doubt Nintendo will "lose" against the ps4.

Bleh wouldn't have bought the game anyway. Goes to show that EA has no balls what so ever. So they're going to "play it safe" rather than improve the franchise. Way to go.

For those that play this type of game, then I suppose it sucks that it's not coming to Wii U. But for those that don't play games like this, I wouldn't have bought it anyway. I think once Nintendo gets more first party titles there will be better 3rd party support. Still though, I'd have to agree with the above statement that 3rd party on Nintendo consoles will always kinda suck.

Well that is your opinion but I dont think smartphones are as big of a threat to gaming as people seem to think.

 

I never said I had seen more console launches than you. And I never once said wii u was "doomed", I said it was "failing" (and it is because Nintendo are making losses yet again) which is completely different. I said that the Wii U would be in serious trouble IF we don't start getting games soon after E3.

No. Did you not read the part I said about Pikmin 3? It was supposed to be a launch title. For whatever reason it got delayed, that was an unfortunate circumstance. There's also Rayman Legends which was supposed to be a Wii U exclusive. How did that go? Well it was delayed to September due to Ubisoft saying they want it on the other systems. That again, is an unfortunate event.

From my perspective, Nintendo Land, NSMBU, Pikmin 3, and Rayman Legends were supposed to be the big systems sellers. 2 of the 4 were delayed. One of which wasn't even Nintendo's fault. Things happen that we as consumers can't control, and sometimes the developers, marketing, etc of companies mess things up and we pay the price. Yeah it sucks, but it's life and it happens all the time.

Oh, really? The 3DS had no competition, really? So you mean all of those doom and gloom articles about how smartphone gaming is taking a big cut (and providing competition) towards the 3DS were my imagination?

 

Anyway, as for the rest of what you said... Most of us have already gone through many launches. (At least I have.) It's called waiting. You people are so quick to say the Wii U is failing, that it's going to be the next Dreamcast, and whatever else y'all can think of. Is that what being realistic is to you?

No one said Wii U should have all the good games out by now, but it should have some. There are very little good games out right now.

Yes I know, but games take a long time to make. Publishers also don't want games competing against each other too much since it could end up ruining sales of a game. If all the majority of the first title party games came out at the same time, there would be an over saturation of games. They're supposed to evenly space out game releases so everyone has a good amount of time to buy each game. Pikmin 3 was supposed to be out earlier (as we all hoped) but unfortunately that wasn't the case. At least we finally got a date, and that will help sell the system. There is also a lot of things to consider like the status of our economy, if nobody has extra money to spend, nobody will by games or systems regardless of how good they are.
