Oh god... so many to choose from. ;-; I... I can't pick one! I guess I'd go with Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, Super Mario RPG, Pokemon and then Earthbound. I really like each rpg in their own special way, so I can't really pick a favorite since I love them all.

I have many different ways of looking at Pokemon generations. If I were to go for the nostalgia route I'd pick gen 2. I devoted many hours to Silver, and that gen also improved the game mechanics and gave psychic an extra weakness in dark, and resistance in steel. Anyone one who has played gen one knows that psychic types were very overpowered. If I were to go with what I know now, I'd probably go with gen 5. While there really isn't any nostalgic value for gen 5, the games have a lot of cool features and improved the overall Pokemon experience. To me, each region, each generation had it's ups and downs, and reasons why I liked and disliked. Enough rambling, if I had a gun to my head and had to pick an answer, I'd go with gen 2. Damn you nostalgia.

Well, here's the official launch line-up for the Virtual Console:
http://www.gonintend...story&id=200992
SMW is mine, the rest not so much.
I beat you to it. I already posted the list on the last page. But whatever no biggie. I'll only be getting SMW as well, until the next game Super Metroid for 30 cents.

Hmmm... I don't know if the FX 2 has anything to do with those titles being absent or not. I refuse to believe they can't do it at all. Maybe some extra coding and tweaking is required for those games?
I don't know anything about hardware. Like, nothing at all lol. But from what I read, the Wii wasn't able to properly emulate games that used the FX 2 chip. The FX chip was a pretty revolutionary thing back when the SNES was out. It allowed for games to do things like have large sprites on the screen (Yoshi's Island) and helped render polygons (Star Fox). Anyway, so idk if we can get Earthbound, hopefully we can get Star Fox and Yoshi's Island.

Oh snap. According to this webpage, it may be possible in the future to play VC games on both the Wii U and the 3DS. So in other words, if you buy a VC game on the 3DS you can play it on the Wii U and vice versa. AWWW YEAH.

I hope so too. It would be a shame for these two particular titles to completely miss the VC boat.
Yeah especially since they missed it the first time. Let's hope for the best!

Yay. Now if only they'd put Yoshi's Island on the VC... at least they FINALLY got Earthbound.

Now, let's see if Nintendo can give us a steady stream of VC releases on a weekly basis instead of throwing out a few bones here and there. They need to stay consistent this time.
Yeah. I saw a video on their channel showing some more games than this, I was hoping we'd get more launch titles. Based on the video though we'll eventually get Kirby Super Star, Kirby Dream Course, and Kirby's Dreamland 3. We also have to remember the 30 cent promotion titles too.

I seriously hope we get more VC games on the Wii U. This is a decent line-up but we need more VC games that will not only allow people to play classic title, but also help boost Wii U sales as well. Which is why i suggest that Nintendo should put some GC VC titles in the mix.
I don't know if we'll ever get GC games, but we're at least getting GBA games which we didn't get on the Wii. As time goes on we'll get more games, just be patient.

Super Metroid.......on the gamepad...........it's.......almost........here!!
I really hope Nintendo is much more aggressive with the VC this time around. There are so many games we didn't get on the Wii VC. If Nintendo could get ALL of their back catalog onto the VC along with a huge variety of third-party games, they'd have the ultimate collection of digital titles. It would be a goldmine for them! I know the likelihood of that happening is pretty much zero, but there is so much potential there. A one-stop place for all your Nintendo needs.
God ikr? I LOVE Super Metroid.
Yeah, I wish they'd put Starfox and Yoshi's Island on the VC. I heard they didn't due to the games using is FX 2 chip. I don't know how true that is, but I'd really like to play both on my Wii U. I'm also looking forward to some Sega Gen, N64, and GBA titles. So much potential!

Idk how much of an effect it will have, but when I used Homebrew for my Wii it just made me use the console even more. I mainly hacked it for Brawl and loved being able to customize it, knowing that I could tweak it to my liking allowed me to have more fun with the game. It really depends on what the person wants to do with the hacking. I didn't hack the Wii the pirate games, only to change parts of Brawl, which I bought from a Gamestop.

Thanks for your input, troll. Regardless of what you think, the Wii U is in the 8th generation of gaming consoles. Next gen it is, irrespective of capability, clock speeds, FLOPS, etc.
I hope you are able to sell it to someone who will enjoy it.
I agree. Someone who knows how to use the console.

I'm not a big fan of the achievement awards stuff. Feels like a cheap why to add replay value to a game.

I really, really, hope this game does well. Looks like the team working on it is doing it some justice. This is the kind of game the Wii U needs, Godspeed Deus Ex!

Well the good news is that the Wii U console sold more, but SE seems to be pretty disappointed about the sales of the game.

I'm 25 and I've been playing games for years. I like the Wii U and don't find it to be childish. The only thing that I find childish is all the noobs on Miiverse, besides that it's fine.

You know what? If you enjoy the Wii U I'm happy for you, it's a great console. It really does need some more games, but once we get it it will be a hell of a lot of fun. I'm enjoying my Wii U as well so whatever. Just let people be butt hurt about an inanimate object, it gets funny after a while anyway. Anyone who has a brain knows that Sony and Microsoft aren't perfect. No gaming company is, even Nintendo. Best thing to do is just enjoy your console and have fun.
