I got a few things recently

I got a new mouse, new fans for my pc (i only wanted the green leds, I didnt need them) 2 new desks, a chair (as you can see, I like green) and 4 amiibos...Ignore the mm 3ds, thats just there because I pulled it out of my pocket when I sat down

well, I got two things, first thing being a mechanical keyboard (2013 version so it has cherry mx blue, not the crappy knock offs)

oh and windows 10 n stuff

there are 3 things that I want
them to lie to all of us and show off zelda anyways
metroid on wii u (i really dont want it on 3ds)

and star fox

everything else will just be amazing

i'll upgrade a few months after some bugs have been fixed on it and the key software that I use works on 10 (though im not worried about that since I'm sure i can get windows 7 software to easily work on windows 10)

on a serious note, is there anything we can do to buy the site or what ever? or are we stuck with the waiting game....or just jumping ship to a new site all together

I only said to jump ship if we couldnt aquire the rights needed to fix everything up (on a side note, i cant use the forums on chrome anymore...so i should talk to an admin about that)

yup, worked fine for a few hours then crapped out on me, either have to use ie (ew) or my phone. I'm sure I'll figure it out, this is starting to get off topic

well, if someone else owns the site and gets the required perms to run it (even just basic ones for editing sub forms or something) would you have any idea how to bring traffic in? because thats the main issue is that there isnt anyone left, im just here because i made na account years ago and check back like once a week. Only been active recently due to e3 and there is actually stuff to talk about

I don't know if trusting reviews will be a good idea, considering the mold of what shooters "should be" today, i can see many places giving it a bad review.
but you can trust the good reviews :-)

anyway, day 1 for me, amiibos I'm not going to hold my breath

i'll watch many videos reviews, read quiet a few, and see if any of my friends will pick it up and see if they enjoy it

im still curious on to why everyone thinks the nx will be the next console. It is clearly a handheld, especially sicne the 3ds is "far" older than the wii u (about 6-7 years old by the time we get the nx wii u being maybe 5)

But wind waker HD was amazing.

exactly, because the art style is timeless. Since is trying to be "real" without a remake, it just falls on its face

Eh, as long as it's not buggy I'm happy. I've watched the videos and I still don't see what the problem is. Yes, there are games that look nicer than it. But this is still a decent game. Complaining about it won't do much, except maybe reducing the launch price (I'll admit I won't pay 75 Canuckistan Pesos for this)

complaining about meaningless things to other people on the internet is the only way I can feel better about myself....duh

I think some peoples expectations were way overboard. Art style is holding this game back, I would say it certainly could of used updated models but that was never in the cards. Small port team ( Tantalus ) and pretty much the same sort of work that went into Wind Waker has gone into here, this time amiibo as well.

 

Overhauling all of the models is a daunting task all by itself. Aside from the models, the texture work is good imo.

sad part is, I knew exactly what to expect since I knew this was the same thing with wind waker. Its just a game where it needed an actual remake. I like old games as much as the next guy but its like releasing episode 4 of star wars in 2016. By today standards its pretty bad (lets assuming it never came out before)

so we have more footage, and this shows without a doubt how bad and lazy this port/remaster/whatever you want to call it. If you can look me straight in the eyes and tell me that doesn't look atrocious I will safely say you're blinded by fanboyism. Yes it was fine in 2006. This isn't 2006. It's just higher res textures nothing more, nothing less and jarring polygons make you want to cry.

there is some more footage, all I can ask is why it just seems like wasted resources (though its probably only costing them maybe $500k and even thats a bit generous)
