Hello to all, i need your help, i will buy a wii u, but i have a troble, i will buy a monitor to play whit the wii u, this is the monitor

ASUS VH238H 

Have HDMI + DVI+ VGA, 

i cant buy a TV, now thats why i need to buy this monitor and thats why i will buy the wii u. hope can help me THANKS alot.

my problem, is posible to play normal whit no problem using a monitor? 

why i will not have sound? how can i solve that.

i dont have a HDTV thats why i will buy this monitor, 

on monitor the image look bad?

I have a VW246H and it works wonderfully. HDMI, DVI, VGA, integrated speakers... the same. I have sound and the image showing up just fine.

Thank you for the help i think that work, here on the image, The black and green are for the sound, on the black i only can hook up a headphone? or i can put some speakers.

It should work though.

I'm 99% certain, I've had a wdtv connected to it via HDMI in the past.

 

 

 

The image shows an "audio-in" 3.5mm jack so surely it does.

It would play but there won't be any sounds unless the Monitor has speakers.

yes this monitor have Speakers. so i think will work. hope.

we cant instal games on the hard drive. i have the console 30-40 cms 12 inches, from my head. 

did you know if the wii u make a lot of noise when is runnig a game?

the problem of the noise is the disc drive. the wii u dosent make too much noise.

some body know if later we will be able to instale the games?

It seems to be pretty quiet to me. I've barely noticed.

need your help is posible to conect the wii u to a monitor whit DVI-D (HDCP) , cuz i got a problem and i didnt complete the amount of the hdmi monitor. using this to make it HDMI. LIke PS3 and xbox 360. i know that the audio will be the problem but the image will work? i wont have any problem?

What i did at first when i only had a dvi option, was the typical hdmi to dvi adapter, for the audio i just used a male/male/ audio cable and plugged one end into gamepad and the other end into tv/surround sound. Worked like a charm.

What monitor did you use? Have HDCP?

Jesus.. is this all you have to bleat on about...? of course they make a noise they are motorised! blu rays dvd's all make the same feckin noise!

I fully understand that any dvd player or blu ray.... will make noise, but my wii u is 40 cm in front of me, i cant put the wii u in other part is imposible for me. thats why i wanna know. or meaby the solution will be just buy digital games i dont know. 

I barely hear it make a sound. Ever. It's pretty good, really.

Maybe there is a problem with your console and you should contact Nintendo?  Mine is very quiet.
