What i did at first when i only had a dvi option, was the typical hdmi to dvi adapter, for the audio i just used a male/male/ audio cable and plugged one end into gamepad and the other end into tv/surround sound. Worked like a charm.
What monitor did you use? Have HDCP?

I have a smaller model of this monistor (only 21 inches:()
I'd check but it'd involve moving a lot fo things around.
It should work though.
I'm 99% certain, I've had a wdtv connected to it via HDMI in the past.
The image shows an "audio-in" 3.5mm jack so surely it does.
Thanks, for the help.
It would play but there won't be any sounds unless the Monitor has speakers.
yes this monitor have Speakers. so i think will work. hope.

An HDTV that is comparable in size will run you less than a computer monitor, that is designed with lower latency, higher refresh rates, and higher resolutions than TVs are.
well, monitors are better right? cuz they have ips panels, and HDTV, dont, only led and cost alot.
What else i can do? ![]()

Using a monitor for any HDMI device is extremely complicated unless it has speakers. You don't need TOP OF THE LINE specs on a TV to play video games. A simple 32 inch LCD HDTV would be just fine unless you need to use it with a computer as well.
Otherwise, you can always do what I did. Buy a TV and mount it on the wall above the monitor.
Thank you for your help, i find something, a TV monitor.
